A Sham of an Investigation

A Sham of an Investigation
By Mark R Levin

The more I think about this Fitzgerald investigation, the more astonished I become. Richard Armitage was Bob Novak’s “source” — i.e., he identified Valerie Plame — which, incidentally, is clearly not a crime and Armitage has not been charged with any offense. And prosecutors knew Armitage was the “source” almost immediately after beginning their investigation because Armitage confessed. Indeed, when he thought he may have done something wrong, he appears to have cried on many shoulders. Armitage told his boss, Colin Powell, that he was the source, as well as other State Department and Justice Department officials. He told the Special Counsel’s people. And not one of them — Armitage, Powell, Patrick Fitzgerald, et al. — had the guts or integrity to tell the public that the original source was Armitage. Why were they protecting him from public scrutiny? By their silence, Armitage and Powell allowed two innocent men, Lewis Libby and Karl Rove, to be smeared as speculation about them being Novak’s original source ran rampant. Liberal commentators and politicians had a blast. The truth be damned.

Silly Season

Silly Season
By Mark R Levin

Some people just don’t get it and never will. They think they’re clever and witty, but they’re not. They’re silly.

We should close GITMO because, well, not everyone there is guilty and, besides, Europe would approve? Gee, we’ve never heard these lame arguments before. I suppose this is an argument for closing domestic prisons too, since many among their populations (and their lawyers) insist on their innocence and mistreatment and, well, many in Europe might approve.

U.N. forces not neutral in deeds

“…The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon…is officially neutral. Yet, throughout the recent war, it posted on its website for all to see precise information about the movements of Israeli Defense Forces soldiers and the nature of their weaponry and materiel, even specifying the placement of IDF safety structures within hours of their construction. New information was sometimes only 30 minutes old when it was posted, and never more than 24 hours old… Meanwhile, UNIFIL posted not a single item of specific intelligence regarding Hezbollah forces.

“On October 7, 2000, three IDF soldiers were kidnapped by Hezbollah just yards from a UNIFIL shelter and dragged across the border into Lebanon, where they disappeared. The U.N. was thought to have videotaped the incident or its immediate aftermath… For months the Israeli government pleaded with the U.N. to turn over any videotape that might shed light on the location and condition of its missing men. And for nine months the U.N. stonewalled, insisting first that no such tape existed, then that just one tape existed, and eventually conceding that there were two more tapes. During those nine months, clips from the videotapes were shown on Syrian and Lebanese television.”

Violence in Baghdad Down 41 Percent, Says Coalition Colonel
25 August 2006
Progress shows Iraqi government’s commitment to improving citizens’ daily lives

By David McKeeby
Washington File Staff Writer

Washington – The past two weeks have seen a 41 percent decline in violent attacks across Baghdad, Iraq, according to a top coalition officer supporting Iraqi forces.

U.S. Army Colonel Robert Scurlock, appearing via videoconference from Baghdad as part of an August 25 Pentagon press briefing, said that “Operation Together Forward,” the Iraqi-planned and led effort to step up security in the capital, is making progress and shows that “the government of Iraq is committed to the fight against terrorists, and is committed to bringing a better way of life to all Iraqis.”

Scurlock commands the 3,500-strong Combat Team of the Army’s 1st Armored Division, which is partnered with 5,000 personnel from Iraqi army and police units who are working to bring peace to the communities of western Baghdad. More than 1.3 million Iraqis live in the combat team’s 300-square-kilometer area of operations, which spans from the farmlands of Abu Ghraib, along the Tigris River, and into some of the capital’s toughest neighborhoods.

The Islamo-Nazis attack us on 9/11 and kill nearly 3,000 Americans, they’ve taken their crusade to all corners of the earth and against people of all faiths and races, and this nut blames the Jews. ACLU probes trooper who nabbed 14 illegals Charge ‘racial profiling,’ insist he had no right to ask for ID

The American Civil Liberties Union is investigating a Rhode Island state trooper who apprehended 14 illegal immigrants during a traffic stop, charging “racial profiling” and insisting the officer had no right to ask for ID.

The Rhode Island affiliate of the ACLU filed the case after the driver and several passengers alleged Trooper Thomas Chabot overstepped his authority during the July 11 traffic stop by taking immigration enforcement into his own hands, the Providence Journal reported.

However, asking for identification during traffic stops is a department procedure, and when the passengers could not provide valid ID, Chabot contacted officials with the Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement division.

Point of no return?

A ‘must read’ by Thomas Sowell:

Do we understand that the world will never be the same after hate-filled fanatics gain the ability to wipe whole American cities off the face of the earth? Do we still imagine that they can be bought off, as Israel was urged to buy them off with “land for peace” — a peace that has proved to be wholly illusory?

The terrorists need not start out by wiping our cities off the map. Chances are they would first want to force us to humiliate ourselves in whatever ways their sadistic imaginations could conceive, out of fear of their nuclear weapons.

After we, or our children and grandchildren, find ourselves living at the mercy of people with no mercy, what will future generations think of us, that we let this happen because we wanted to placate “world opinion” by not acting “unilaterally”?

Doctrinal Issues

Doctrinal Issues

I think it is now clear that Iran will acquire nuclear weapons and no one will stop it.

The U.S. response to Hezbollah, an arm of the Iranian military, demonstrates a lack of will to confront militarily Iran. The U.S. has now bought into the elusion — urged by the U.N., Europe, and domestic liberals — that diplomacy will somehow contain the Iranian regime. This is a fundamental and fatal shift by the administration. For all the talk in support of the Bush Doctrine and preemption, the administration has effectively rejected them. And the Democracy Project is not possible if the will to first destroy the enemy is not backed up by military action intended to defeat the enemy.

“President” Taylor’s judicial decision

The Wall Street Journal’s suggestion that “Perhaps the plaintiffs should have sued the New York Times” misses the mark. What Judge Anna Diggs Taylor means by her ruling is: baseless fears brought to her court by uninjured parties against defendants she philosophically disagrees with will find standing in her court. If she was a baseball umpire her philosophy might be, “I call them as I see them and when I don’t see them, I make them up.”

The only party the National Security Agency’s surveillance program actually intends to injure is the enemy. That sounds like a mighty fine program to me.

If some ACLU lawyer is talking on the phone to someone who is planning to kill us and the line goes dead because the terrorist at the other end suddenly goes dead, the lawyer ought to send the NSA a thank you card.

Fascism and Muslim Terrorists

Fascism and Muslim Terrorists
By Mark R Levin

On NRO’s homepage, there is a symposium on the appropriateness of the phrase “Islamo-fascism” to describe our enemy. The fact is that Osama bin Laden, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Bashar al-Assad, Saddam Hussein, and the late Yassir Arafat all embrace the Third Reich. See here and here. And there are many other historical sources should anyone bother to look.

The term “Islamo-fascist” actually understates what we’re dealing with. Yet, groups like CAIR are offended when the enemy is described with this phrase, pretending it’s a smear of all Muslims. Perhaps it is they who are having difficulty discerning the good from the bad.

First Things First

First Things First
By Mark R Levin

Some have said that the terms of the ceasefire are good for Israel and the U.S. I am truly amazed at such a statement. The “terms” are meaningless because they will not be honored by Hezbollah, Syria, or Iran — none of whom are signatories to the “terms.” The U.N. Security Council signed on; the Lebanese government signed on; Israel signed on; but the enemy has not signed on. So, this is more absurd than Neville Chamberlain’s agreement with Adolph Hitler as Hitler actually went through the formality of signing an agreement (worthless as it was). But the enemy doesn’t even make the pretense of any intention of complying with this ceasefire. They are under no obligation to adhere to the terms of the U.N. deal.

I am also a great fan of Norman Podhoretz, who attempts a strong defense of the Bush Doctrine. The problem is that the Bush Doctrine has changed. At its inception, the doctrine stood for the proposition that the U.S. would use force preemptively if necessary to destroy terrorists and those who harbor them. It later evolved into something different — a Democracy Project. I’m not opposed to a democracy project. But the enemy must be defeated before democratic governments can be established and function effectively. Lebanon is not a democracy. It’s in a state of anarchy. The government has no control over its institutions (including the military) and much of its territory. And regrettably, the same situation exists in parts of Iraq.

The Bush Doctrine, as originally articulated, is sound policy. We should follow it. And that means eliminating the regimes that underwrite, arm, and empower much of the terrorism in the world, i.e., Iran and Syria.

Obsession

This looks like a movie everyone should see!

ABOUT THE MOVIE: OBSESSION
Radical Islam’s War Against the West

From the creators of Relentless, comes a new film that will challenge the way you look at the world.

Almost 70 years ago, Europe found itself at war with one of the most sinister figures in modern history: Adolf Hitler. When the last bullet of World War II was fired, over 50 million people were dead, and countless countries were both physically and economically devastated. Hitler’s bloody struggle sought to forge the world anew, in the crucible of Nazi values. How could such a disaster occur? How could the West have overlooked the evil staring it in the face, for so long, before standing forcefully against it?

Today, we find ourselves confronted by a new enemy, also engaged in a violent struggle to transform our world. As we sleep in the comfort of our homes, a new evil rises against us. A new menace is threatening, with all the means at its disposal, to bow Western Civilization under the yoke of its values. That enemy is Radical Islam.

Using images from Arab TV, rarely seen in the West, Obsession reveals an ‘insider’s view’ of the hatred the Radicals are teaching, their incitement of global jihad, and their goal of world domination. With the help of experts, including first-hand accounts from a former PLO terrorist, a Nazi youth commander, and the daughter of a martyred guerilla leader, the film shows, clearly, that the threat is real.

A peaceful religion is being hijacked by a dangerous foe, who seeks to destroy the shared values we stand for. The world should be very concerned.

Jimmy Carter a.k.a. Hezbolly Bob

President Carter stood by as radical Islamists took over Iran. During the two decades since he left office dealing with terrorism was primarily a criminal investigation and that policy failed. America was repeatedly attacked before 9/11. The regimes in Syria, Iran, and Iraq harbored and supported terrorists and, if truth were told, often directed those attacks. Hezbollah was formed in 1982, has been financed from its inception by Iran, and murdered 241 US service members when it bombed the Marine Barracks in Beirut, in 1983. Iran supplied the 12,000 missiles Hezbollah positioned in southern Lebanon, 3,300 of which it fired on Israel’s civilian population. Hezbollah receives upwards of 100 million dollars a year from Iran and uses that blood money to further their shared goal of wiping Israel off the map and Jews off the face of the earth. Yet former President Carter still has the unmitigated gall to say things like this in an interview:

SPIEGEL: You also mentioned the hatred for the United States throughout the Arab world which has ensued as a result of the invasion of Iraq. Given this circumstance, does it come as any surprise that Washington’s call for democracy in the Middle East has been discredited?

Carter: No, as a matter of fact, the concerns I exposed have gotten even worse now with the United States supporting and encouraging Israel in its unjustified attack on Lebanon.

SPIEGEL: But wasn’t Israel the first to get attacked?

Carter: I don’t think that Israel has any legal or moral justification for their massive bombing of the entire nation of Lebanon. What happened is that Israel is holding almost 10,000 prisoners, so when the militants in Lebanon or in Gaza take one or two soldiers, Israel looks upon this as a justification for an attack on the civilian population of Lebanon and Gaza. I do not think that’s justified, no.

Garbage in and garbage out

The bloated fantasy now featured in New York Magazine is a particularly pungent example of using 9/11 to launch ad hominem attacks for personal and political gain. While premising his hit-piece, John Heilemann writes:

“As a way of marking the fifth anniversary of 9/11, we’ve attempted to provide an answer—or, rather, many answers. But we’ve done so in a roundabout manner: by asking an assortment of big thinkers and public figures to address the question, What if 9/11 never happened?

“…As Andrew Sullivan suggests in his alternative-present blog, America should perhaps consider itself lucky that 9/11 took place when it did (thus giving the country an early warning of the battle ahead) and that it wasn’t worse.”

Ask the family members of the 3,000 if we feel lucky, Mr. Heilemann, and if we appreciate you pimping a magazine with a wholesale political hit-piece to mark the day they were murdered.

So, while a couple of dozen al-Qaeda-related terrorists are caught plotting mass murder in the skies over the Atlantic, and a couple of men of Middle East background are buying up throw-away cell phones in our country by the hundreds, the New York Times is still campaigning to destroy our intelligence gathering capabilities by attacking Guantanamo Bay and our ability to interrogate the enemy there.

And notice , not a single word from the Times about this.

The editors and reporters at the Times have no second thoughts about their actions in disclosing our national secrets, such as the NSA intercept program and financial-tracking program, despite Britain’s use of both tools to stop the latest attempt at mass murder. They have no intention of reconsidering their views about GITMO despite evidence that the MPs have been extremely professional in carrying out their duties even though the enemy assaults them repeatedly (the Times not only failed to uncover the grotesque acts of the detainees, but has censored the information as well).

What the MSM doesn’t show you

What photo and video did the mainstream media not show you usually distorts the truth far more often than the altered photo we have recently been reading about. For instance, the NY Times’ report today about the protest in San Francisco showed peaceful looking folks with a caption that reads, “Others rallied Saturday, including a San Francisco face-off over Israel.” The San Francisco Gate provided a more detailed look at the protesters yet even they did not capture the true nature of many pro-Hezbollah or anti-Semetic folks like the guy below. No War Will

No War Will
By Mark R Levin

An outstanding description of a disastrous deal by the Jerusalem Post’s Caroline Glick:

Here’s an excerpt:

… [T]he resolution places responsibility for determining compliance in the hands of UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan. Annan has distinguished himself as a man capable only of condemning Israel for its acts of self-defense while ignoring the fact that in attacking Israel, its enemies are guilty of war crimes. By empowering Annan to evaluate compliance, the resolution all but ensures that Hizbullah will not be forced to disarm and that Israel will be forced to give up the right to defend itself.

The resolution makes absolutely no mention of either Syria or Iran, without whose support Hizbullah could neither exist nor wage an illegal war against Israel. In so ignoring Hizbullah’s sponsors, it ignores the regional aspect of the current war and sends the message to these two states that they may continue to equip terrorist armies in Lebanon, the Palestinian Authority and Iraq with the latest weaponry without paying a price for their aggression.

The resolution presents Hizbullah with a clear diplomatic victory by placing their erroneous claim of Lebanese sovereignty over the Shaba Farms, or Mount Dov - a vast area on the Golan Heights that separates the Syrian Golan from the Upper Galilee and is disputed between Israel and Syria - on the negotiating table. In doing so, the resolution rewards Hizbullah’s aggression by giving international legitimacy to its demand for territorial aggrandizement via acts of aggression, in contravention of the laws of nations. …

… Aside from the resolution’s egregious language, the very fact that the US has sponsored a resolution that leaves Hizbullah intact as a fighting force constitutes a devastating blow to the national security of both Israel and the US …

An enormous opportunity to land a major blow against the enemy has been squandered at a significant cost. I can hardly believe how quickly the administration reversed course, and how Israel’s PM would respond so aggressively (and correctly) to the kidnapping and killing of Israeli soldiers only to hold the IDF back and settle for this phony deal. We simply cannot win this war if we don’t have the will to destroy the terrorists and the regimes that support them.

Officials: No worries, America. Well, maybe worry some

FoxNews reported:

U.S. counterterrorism officials stressed that there was no reason for Americans to believe plotters or others connected with the terror scenario were in the country. Still, the FBI has so far assigned an estimated 200 investigators to track down potential links.

Why keep 200 investigators running down leads if there is no connection? Here is why:

Two other U.S. counterterrorism officials, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the investigation, said the British suspects placed calls to several cities in the United States before their arrests. At least some of the calls were placed to people in New York, Washington, Chicago and Detroit, one official said. The suspects are all British citizens, mostly men in the 20s and 30s of Pakistani descent.

Yet do not expect the New York Times to report the surveillance of calls between the United States and foreign countries assisted Scotland Yard’s disruption of the latest terrorist plot. Nearly sixty hours have passed since Time Magazine first reported that and, so far, not once have they mentioned it.

Author’s note: Some might mistakenly think I’m happy that someone leaked to the press that the US intercepted communications. My point here is to point out that US officials are prematurely saying no one here was involved in the plot, two major media sources (Time and FoxNews) say the US intercepted communications into the US from those involved in the plot, and the NY Times is intentionally not reporting the latter. The blood in the mouths of the NY Times’ editors must be getting deep as they bite their tongues and refrain from reporting another incident of “illegal domestic surveillance.” It is obvious the program helped save thousands of lives and the Times does not want to report that.

Just a simple question

The president’s remarks about Islamic fascism were critical, and so should be demands on the “moderate” Islamic community to disassociate itself from this war on the West. But instead we hear mostly charges of “Islamophobia,” never honesty about the profiles of those who wish to destroy an airplane, a skyscraper, or Jews in civic centers and airports. One example: Last week the state-run Palestinian newspaper ran racist cartoons of the American secretary of State; not a single American-Muslim organization voiced outrage at this, much less the Middle East daily fare of Jews as apes and pigs. So to conclude of only the latest effort of savages to murder thousands: Westerners in general are seeing that their civilization will not continue if hourly radical Muslims are trying to destroy it with liquid explosives, or germs, or other various sorts of terror — and at some point they are going to ask of everyone, to paraphrase the president, “Are you with us or with the terrorists?” It’s that simple, no more equivocating, no more “Of course — BUT.… “ We need no more multicultural gibberish — just a simple question, “Is the West worth preserving from its 7th-century enemies or not?” — Victor Davis Hanson

CAIR believed to be a front group for radical Islam

Here’s an alarming article describing the Islamic organization, CAIR.

CAIR: Islamists Fooling the Establishment

by Daniel Pipes and Sharon Chadha

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), headquartered in Washington, is perhaps the best-known and most controversial Muslim organization in North America. CAIR presents itself as an advocate for Muslims’ civil rights and the spokesman for American Muslims. “We are similar to a Muslim NAACP,” says its communications director, Ibrahim Hooper.[1] Its official mission—”to enhance understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding”[2]—suggests nothing problematic.

The 2006 Freedom Concerts were a big success

The Freedom Alliance is a 501(c)3 educational and charitable organization founded by USMC Lieutenant Colonel (ret) Oliver North. It has raised over 7 million dollars since its inception in 1990. A primary mission of the foundation is to provide scholarships for the children of service members who are killed or permanently disabled in the line of duty, or currently classified as POW or MIA. The recipients to date include sons and daughters of those killed (or POW/MIA) during the Vietnam War, the 2000 attack upon the USS Cole, the 9/11 attack upon the Pentagon, and during the Greater War on Terror. We will work to “keep America strong, keep America prosperous, and keep America free,” said North upon the founding of Freedom Alliance.

…and the crowds jumped to their feet as the first chords of God Bless the U.S.A..

Altogether, more than 35,000 people came to the concerts and it was a privilege to attend them in support of…READ MORE

Lieberman and the War

Lieberman and the War
By Mark R Levin

The “experts,” i.e., anyone on TV, tell us that the Lieberman-Lamont race was about one issue and one issue only — the war. Well, then, since 48 percent of the Democrats voted for Lieberman, I guess 48 percent support the war. The national Democrats better hope that’s not the case — Connecticut being a blue state — or their dreams of electoral victory in November and beyond will be just that … dreams.

Little Neddy & His Leftist Amigos

Little Neddy & His Leftist Amigos
By Mark R Levin

The know-nothing, empty-suit, blue-blood Ned Lamont is now the Democrat party’s poster boy. He’s sort of a John Kerry, but without the Purple Hearts (and he actually inherited most of his fortune from his own family).

Lamont follows in the great tradition of his uncle, Corliss Lamont, who was a courageous pacifist during the rise of the Nazis, just as Little Neddy has been heroic in his adamant appeasement of the Islamo-Nazis.

And it was impossible to miss some of the Jew-baiters standing behind Little Neddy at the podium last night as he celebrated his landslide (4 percent) victory over a prominent senator of Jewish heritage, e.g., Jesse “Hymietown” Jackson and Al “Interloper” Sharpton.

There’s something very French about the modern Democrat party … or is that Vichy French? It’s the party of Jim Moran; John Dingel; the late, great Cynthia McKinney; Robert Byrd (”the Conscience of the Senate”); former elder statesmen Fritz Hollings; and, of course, Joe Kennedy Sr. The party of Harry Truman — strong on defense and the first to recognize Israel — is dead. It’s now the party of Henry Wallace. Blue-bloods have replaced blue-collars. And Lamonts have replaced Liebermans.

Republicans should be ecstatic. The Democrat presidential field was already running left. Now it will run at sprint-speed. The 2008 presidential election is shaping up to be a 1972 rerun. Even Hillary Clinton, former counsel to the Black Panthers, doesn’t measure up. “Oh, the times, they are a changin ….”

Davis Doesn’t Fly

Davis Doesn’t Fly
By Mark R Levin

I’m intrigued by the bizarre attention so many conservative websites and bloggers are paying to Lanny Davis’s silly op-ed in today’s Wall Street Journal. See here.

Here’s an excerpt from the Davis piece:

My brief and unhappy experience with the hate and vitriol of bloggers on the liberal side of the aisle comes from the last several months I spent campaigning for a longtime friend, Joe Lieberman.

This kind of scary hatred, my dad used to tell me, comes only from the right wing—in his day from people such as the late Sen. Joseph McCarthy, with his tirades against “communists and their fellow travelers.” The word “McCarthyism” became a red flag for liberals, signifying the far right’s fascistic tactics of labeling anyone a “communist” or “socialist” who favored an active federal government to help the middle class and the poor, and to level the playing field.

I came to believe that we liberals couldn’t possibly be so intolerant and hateful, because our ideology was famous for ACLU-type commitments to free speech, dissent and, especially, tolerance for those who differed with us. And in recent years—with the deadly combination of sanctimony and vitriol displayed by the likes of Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter and Michael Savage—I held on to the view that the left was inherently more tolerant and less hateful than the right.

Now, in the closing days of the Lieberman primary campaign, I have reluctantly concluded that I was wrong. The far right does not have a monopoly on bigotry and hatred and sanctimony.

Davis smears conservatives generally as intolerant and hateful, using his false characterization as a basis to compare loathsome attacks by liberal bloggers against his friend, Joe Lieberman. He slimes Rush and Ann (Savage, of course, is loathsome) with bloggers who write such things as this:

“Ned Lamont and his supporters need to [g]et real busy. Ned needs to beat Lieberman to a pulp in the debate and define what it means to be an AMerican who is NOT beholden to the Israeli Lobby” (by “rim,” posted on Huffington Post, July 6, 2006).

As an aside, no one has been more steadfast and thoughtful in his support of Israel than Rush (indeed, no one has been more intelligent in their exposition of conservatism than Rush). Moreover, George Bush — the Republican president Lanny Davis and his liberal ilk undermine on a daily basis — has been spectacular in his defense of Israel, unlike so many Davis’s fellow Democrats. And while Davis correctly condemns the poison flowing from his own side, this is a serious problem for the Left, not the Right. Our nuts are on the fringes; his nuts run the DNC, their PACs, and their think-tanks.

Davis was a mouthpiece for one of the most corrupt president’s in history. More to the point, Bill Clinton and his wife were specialists at using slurs and personal attacks against their opponents (including numerous women). Davis defended all of it.

We are nothing like the Left.

Mark interviewed LGF’s Charles Johnson

For all those having trouble logging onto LGF to read the latest photo fudge and double-fudges by Reuters photographers, the Great One led off his show speaking with Charles Johnson and discussed how the original story broke.

In addition, they spoke about the Reuters photos of the lady in Lebanon whose house was totally destroyed twice in 15 days by Israeli air strikes and another Lebanese lady who Reuters photographed and reported as having lost two husbands in 17 days. Mark also asked him about the recent threats Johnson received from a Reuters employee.

8/09/2006 CORRECTION/CLARIFICATION: When I described the report (on Power Line) of Rueters photographing and reporting twice, 17 days apart, the same woman lost a husband the night before, perhaps I misread what was on Power Line or they have since made a correction there. Their report now indicates that, 17 days apart, Reuter reported the woman claimed her house was destroed by Israeli air strikes the night before. — Tim Sumner

Hezbollah…only win when they hide behind baby carriages

“Please remember this when you hear about the “atrocity” of the Israeli bomb that killed many civilians in Kafr Qana, a place from which Hezbollah has fired hundreds of rockets at Israel. Unlike previous administrations, Mr. Olmert has my respect when he says: “They were warned to leave. It is the responsibility of Hezbollah for firing rockets amid civilians.”

“Terrorists and their supporters have lost the right to complain about civilian casualties, since all they have is one goal: this entire war is to target civilians. Every single one of the more than 2,500 rockets launched into Israel, is launched into populated towns filled with women and children.”
……
“In perhaps the most blatant terror campaign from the air since the London Blitz, Hezbollah is raining rockets on Israeli cities and villages. These rockets are packed with ball bearings that can penetrate automobiles and shred human flesh. They are meant to kill and maim. And they do.”

When were the lines for the Arab countries drawn?

Palestine never existed as a country; it was a region. With the exception of Egypt, all the countries of the Middle East are artificial creations. After World War I, England and France carved up the Ottoman Empire, with England retaining what are now Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Israel and Iraq, and France being in possession of what are now Syria and Lebanon.

In 1917, the Balfour Declaration, proclaimed by the British mandatory power, established all of Palestine — east and west of the Jordan River — as the reconstituted homeland for the Jewish people. This was ratified by the 52 countries of the League of Nations.

Therefore, folks, we can expose the myths for what they are. Because, as Hugh Fitzgerald of JihadWatch writes, “…the entire West, the entire Infidel world, are in the same boat with Israel, and this is no time for that boat to become a ship of fools.”
