MLF.....Is there any way you can shorten the amount of time that needs to pass between using the "view your posts" or the "view posts since last visit" functions? It seems like it is set on 10 - 15 seconds. I know it's not a long time.....but I am constantly getting the message saying you can't use the search request so soon.....Please try again in a little while.

PC, might that be the 'Flood Interval'? The number of seconds a user must wait between posts? It is currently set for 15 seconds. I'll shorten that to 10 seconds to see if that helps.

No.....unless it's the same thing. I know why that would be set at 10 - 15 seconds....so you don't get people leaving a zillion posts just to up their post count. If you go to the upper right hand side
It says "View posts since last visit"
Then under it it says "View your posts"
This is the area I was talking about. It's not really that big of a deal.....just slows me down from reading sometimes.

Thank you Like I said not a huge deal.....just get's me sometimes. And then if I don't wait long enough, I get the message again!  So instead of waiting 15 seconds.....I'm waiting 30. Yes I am impatient sometimes!

I have to laugh here. I belong to this other forum, and we call the time limit between posts (also known as the "Spamming is not permitted!" message) Mr.Spammy.
mr.Spammy is evil and to be avoided at all costs.

I wasn't talking about the time between posts.....that I understand. It's the time between searches that I was talking about. BTW...it stll does it.
