Did anyone catch 60 Minutes last night? I'm not a big fan of the show but, when I saw the promo about Iraq and the Kurdish north, I wanted to see what they were going to say...and I was shocked, an actual nice piece on Iraq that was actually good...if you missed it, here's the trascript and the video as well from the CBS 60 minutes page:
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/02/16/60minutes/main2486679.shtml
The reporter tried to get the people they interviewed to say how much they dislike America but couldn't find one...in reality, to me the sad part in all of this is simple..first the fact that 60 Minutes waited until now to have a report like this well after the elections and after the Loony Dems took control of the house.>BUT< also, the saddest part in all of this is simple, had the Liberal media actually reported the Iraq liberation in this exact way, mix the good with the bad news, I would bet that poll numbers of people who support this war would be much greater..but the left had and has their own agenda and we all know what it is.
Anyway, check out the video on that page or just read it..there is one great part in it and its when the reporter asked this University President in the Kurdish area what he thought about the "Invasion of Iraq," the guy looked at him and without flinched said that it wasn't an invasion rather it was a "Liberation...." great responce.....

I always believe in the adage, "Know your enemy." But, seriously, I never watch the Liberal media or as little as possible of it...but, for some reason, I was watching Golf and the promo caught my eye and luckily it was the first segment and turned the chanel right after it was over. As I said, it was a shockingly good segment.

Actually someone showed me a 12 minute segment video, and I didn't find it that bad. I was more shocked that ''see-bs'' made something positive from that area.
Maybe we are not referring to same part??

All I can say about CBS is that they intentionally stagger their program to try and manipulate people into watching programs which conservatives wouldn't normally touch.(60 minutes for one) I don't take the bait, I like the Amazing Race, but refuse to have the hateful Andy Rooney thrust upon me in the same advertised time spot which the Amazing Race was scheduled to be in.( I have to watch the TV Guide Channel until the network gets on with it's advertised program) I have to say that last night really pissed me off because CBS's half hour delay in their regular programing interfered with the new hour news half hour on Fox.

Isn't it terrible how the right wing has infiltrated so far into Iraq and brainwashed the people there that they can't even recognize the difference between an invasion and a liberation.
