Democrats collectively acting like a king

Postby lduren » Mon Feb 13, 2012 9:25 pm

I think Obama and the democrats are acting collectively like a king.

a king disregards the constitution and does not fear consequences from it.
a king rewards his friends.
a king punishes his enemies.
a king does what he wants.

so today we have a collective group of people acting collectively like a king.

Good observation. However, I would say the democrats think they are the new noble class, and their function is to support the king at any cost. The king, no doubt, is Barack Obama. He makes the law; he thinks he is entitled to make it. He keeps court like the medieval kings did. He rewards his friends and punishes his enemies. No wonder, his fawning entourage is following him and reverently, hoping to receive a part of King Obama’s “stash.” The whole country is the king’s property, but he is a benevolent king. He distributes the goods justly. He cares for the “poor” and the “sick.”

The democrats’ mindset is medieval. They believe they are “better born” than the rest of us. They are more intelligent, more educated, more refined, more moral, and every way more NOBLE than the rest of us. These new nobles (same as the old) look down at the “lovers of money,” the “merchants,” and “tradesman,” and “innkeepers,” etc. These rebellious people create their wealth by their own initiative. They hate them all, because they don’t depend on the king’s benevolence.

If you think the democrats are trying to lead the country back to the Middle Ages, you are not far from the truth.

I signed Hillsdale College's commitment to read the Declaration of Independence on July 4th. While reading it, I was really taken aback at the number of parallels between the colonists' grievances against King George III and the kinds of things our current president has done ever since taking office. He loves to scream about "our democracy....our democracy....our democracy" until he gets his way; as soon as he has the upper hand, it's time for any and all objections to cease and desist. The Democrats appear to be following him like lemmings going over the cliff. Amazing to see them defending this man.

To be precise, Barack Obama is a "king on a string". He is being controlled by others who are out of view, one of whom I strongly suspect is George Soros. As for the hoards of Obama worshipers their problem is they are "educated". The colleges and universities instill a false sense of intellectual superiority in their graduates. This is a form of hypnosis that can be utilized by the "kings" to control their minds. Barack Obama himself has been hypnotized in this way.

Just listened to Mark on The Right Scoop discussing LandMark FOIA request for EPA emails. Being stonewalled.

An investment group I belong to is being stonewalled as well. Based offshore, the Group's bank accounts were frozen around Dec 2009; no withdrawals of members' funds allowed. Found out - eventually - the IRS was behind the freeze; they wanted tax on capital gains. Negotiations went on for months culminating with Agreement signed January 2012. We offered 40% of all assets to be placed in Escrow for payment of potential tax, remaining 60% to be released to members in a "timely" manner.

Now February 2013 and IRS has yet to free up Group's bank accounts nor allow withdrawals to resume. So I ask the Question: Why won't the IRS take the money we have freely offered in payment of tax liability? Is it not the function of the IRS to collect tax. They seem to be going after others who they claim owe tax in a very aggressive manner. We have offered to pay and yet they won't take our payment.

Perhaps it's not about the money at all. Perhaps it's really about Control, Power and what they perceive to be Fair.

Today you mentioned on your radio show, that several Republican Governors have caved on the medicare/medicaid issue, and when you mentioned Jan Brewer I just about ran my car off the road. Do you think they are being blackmailed with some federally funded items, like no money for roads etc?
