Ameritopia 101

Postby Mr D » Tue Feb 14, 2012 2:58 pm

Mark,

I purchased the e-book version of ameritopia for my Nook and then ordered the collectors edition leather bound signed version.I am in the process of reading , digesting and correlating the facts so as to become a good student of yours. I listen daily even to your guest host -most are great, telling their tales from other states in this great nation of their plights of non-constitutional people they deal with on a regular basis, on their own talk shows. To get to the point I am grateful for your time & effort in educating us all on the lies & deception of this administration and how they have used similar tactics in the past (not as blatant) to get the socialist agenda put forth. Pointing out daily the un-constitutional ways and disregard for the Bill of Rights and the Founders words and documents are teachings most appreciated. ( although they get you all worked up ), most Americans let them get by us on a daily basis.I do not , these are the things I listen for when listening to your show. The light bulbs, the washing machines and the constant invasion into our lives with the DEP EPA and on & on. The streets of Brooklyn are now riddled with the intrusions of the DOT to control our every move like a hamster maze. There was no need for all the work done in just line paintings to hinder traffic and cause more congestion not a better way just a more intrusive interference into our daily lives to show they are in charge and can control us.
I will continue to read Ameritopia several times until I get it all , listen and be teachable with an open ear for the Levin message of truth as I call it.

Thank You for all you do and continue the fight - We need your Voice to be heard.

I received my copy last week and saved it for rainy day weekend.. But once I started I had a difficult time putting it down.

It rang true in many different ways that I couldn't put my fingers on previously.. The manupulation of people through fear and human needs was plainly spelled out and coincided with what I have been attempting to verbalize.

Just as others have stated I will read again..

I just finished reading Ameritopia. I thouroughly enjoyed reading it. It really shines light on the history of utopianism and the danger it represents to our constitutional republic. Thanks Mark.

I have listened to the audio version of Ameritopia several times and am still digesting these important truths. Mark's discussion today about "ideaology" verses core truths was great! The real core truth about the nature of man is that we were not created as robots but rather free will individuals with the ability to choose. This, to me, is the reason mankind loves freedom and liberty. I have a little book titled simply Life's Choices...Discovering the consequences of sowing and reaping. The author is John W. Lawrence and was last published in 1982. In the first chapter titled "Considering" the author gives a wonderful description of one of the seven "Laws of the Harvest" established by Nature's God..."We reap only what has been sown." In a part of his discussion Lawrence talks about "Our Decaying Society" with a quote from a magazine called the "King's Business" that had reported the average age of the world's great civilizations has been 200 years. These nations progressed through this sequence...From Bondage to Spiritual Faith
From Spiritual Faith to Great Courage
From Courage to Liberty
From Liberty to Abundance
From Abundance to Selfishness
From Selfishness to Apathy
From Apathy to Dependency
From Dependency back into Bondage...
Our Nation has outlasted every other great Nation of the world because our founding Fathers set our Constitution to preserve and protect our individual liberty and our God given rights, but the very Abundance created has opened the door to Selfishness, Apathy and Dependency....Bondage stands close with her chains ready. I thank Mark Levin and a very few others for consistantly planting seeds of freedom and liberty in what has almost become a wasteland. I know that "Great Courage" must spring forth to renew the priceless treasure that is our "Liberty"!!! Keep fighting this GOOD fight!!
I also loved the President Reagan audio played on today's show ... we are still those everyday people who can and must make a difference!
Good night.

Mark,

I'm enjoying your book. My habit is to read several books simultaneously, while dedicating most of my time to work and family. Therefore, at present, I'm a slow read, but good books are timeless. Also, a sign of a good book is that it requires thought and Ameritopia certainly does. FYI, my current read also includes: The Bible, The Federalist Papers, an engineering book related to work. A theory that I have on the results of current leftist agenda: A Purposeless Life. Life's Purpose in order: God, Family, Work, All else. How are those affected by the left's Agenda. 1)Outlaw any reference to God with the Church & State nonsense. 2) Families have been destroyed, redefined, no father's around,.... 3)Work is not required to get a meager paycheck, horrible and very expensive education system, thus resulting in nearly a valueless system, thoughtless system, violence replaces purpose, and so on.

Thus I've concluded: A Purposeless Life is the goal of the left (except only when it's time to vote)

They are shameless.

Mark Levin’s book Ameritopia crystallizes the notion of utopianism being irrational both in theory and practice. Mark is correct in writing how utopian ideology makes the a priori assumption of being able to control the planned and unplanned complexity of the individual, his or her nature, and humanity’s inner thoughts and aspirations and fervor for liberty in general. On the outside they can control the laws and the regulatory processes of private businesses but unless they control all branches of government they will not be able to totally dismiss the constitution and the amendments to it. The first amendment is under attack. The utopians want to control speech. We the people must fight to never let the first amendment die! Give me liberty or death! “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peacefully to assemble, and to petition the Government.
