   Shame on the 25 Senators that tried to block the nomination of such a well-qualified, fair, and respected judge with over 5,000 written decisions!

   The politicizing of this process is a DISGRACE! You senators have diminished yourselves and your offices by pandering to partisan constituencies. Maybe a T-shirt slogan is apt here, “It’s about the CONSTITUTION, stupid!”

   Now,now be nice after all Kennedy did not even know what the subject was . He was furious they were going to vote in Alito and talk about the effects of asbestos next. This from a man who let a girl drown and left the scene and did not come back untill the next morning and does not want windmills on his island . Yea, his island that I pay taxes for for. When will Mark discuss the issue of the demos having tax shelters in the camman islands. The ones who have so much concern for the poor, like ol capie, do not pay taxes on their trust funds in the good ol usa, and mr preacher the cape cod whale does not either. He just wants to give Alito sermons.

    I can’t believe it…I spoke too soon. It’s not shame on 25 senators, it shame on 42 senators that voted against Justice Alito!

    I give these guys too much credit. Ginsberg received a 98-0 final confirmation vote and Alito gets 42 negative votes! These guys has no class.

    Look at Robert Byrd. He’s a partisan, he’s the king of the pork barrel, but the man respects the Constitution of the United States and voted for Justice Alito.

    This vote just goes to show you how far the Democratic Party (and Lincoln Chafee)has lurched to the Left. It is simply embarassing.
