Thursday, Mark spoke once again to conservative actor, Jon Voight.
What a great man, isn’t he? I’m going to have to buy “Lookin’ to Get Out” when it comes out on DVD June 30th.

Yes Indeed!! Jon Voight is a GREAT AMERICAN!! His speech the other night was right on point, and what is ironic is he lives in California!! I like his movies, and he is a great actor on screen; however in person, he is a realistic, conservative American Loving Individual. The world needs more people like MARK LEVIN, and JON VOIGHT!!
Mr. Voight is everything that you and Mark describe him to be and more. I’m not sure that we very often take the time to consider the depth of commitment to our country that someone in his position must have in order to advance the ball of conservatism the way that he does.
When I look at myself in the mirror, I have to ask if I could measure up to this kind of patriotism, if I would have the strength to carry on, knowing that my very livelihood is endangered. What would that be like….surrounded in my working environment by those who not only disagree with my political views but who’s opposite views would seek to destroy my entire way of life?
Do I have that strength…..it’s probably time to take another look in that mirror and re-examine what I see…
Mr. Voight is handsome, talented, a class act, and always brings a smile to my face.
I never realized he was the champ in ‘The Champ’. I remember his riveting performance, even to this day.
Yes, he is a great actor and a great American, I’m not sure if he won an Oscar for The Champ or Midnight Cowboy but I know he won one for Coming Home.
Too bad he got killed off in 24 after half a season, I would like to have seen more development of his character in that show.
His speech was brilliant, it takes stones for an actor of his stature to speak out against the grain of Commiewood.
On 24, you’re not dead until the body is on public display with blood oozing out of it. Even Tony came back from the dead! I’d be a little suspicious if Bill Buchanan or Edgar Stiles suddenly showed up, but not Jonas Hodges.
His character was put in a car, then the camera panned away to deal with some ‘other’ issue / dialogue…and then the car exploded with behind other actors who had their backs to the car. There was more than enough time to sneak Jon Voight’s character out – no one was looking.
