Obama’s campaign has acknowledged that the candidate and Ayers are friends. Though Obama has more recently minimized Ayers as, “just a guy who lives in my neighborhood,” it is clear that the relationship was much deeper than that. Ayers and his fellow-terrorist wife, Bernadine Dohrn (who has spoken admiringly of the infamous Manson Family murders), are icons in Chicago’s hard-left circles, to which Obama sought entrée as a young, “community organizer.” In 1995, they hosted a fundraiser that helped launch his career in Chicago politics.
Ayers has never abandoned his indictment of America as an imperialist hotbed of racism and economic exploitation. He has merely shifted methods from violent extortion to academic indoctrination. Through his perch as a professor of education at the University of Illinois, he has been a ceaseless critic of the criminal-justice system (he is essentially opposed to imprisoning even the most violent criminals) and a proponent of what he calls “education reform†but what is actually the use of the classroom to proselytize for the Left’s political agenda.

The American Issues Project today announced the debut of a new television advertising campaign examining the relationship between Sen. Barack Obama and unrepentant 1960’s domestic terrorist, William Ayers. The ad — entitled “Know Enough?” — begins with a simple, yet pointed question: “Beyond the speeches, how much do you really know about Barack Obama?”
Supported by over one hundred pages of back-up documentation and historical accounts, the American Issues Project is using this ad to shed light on Obama’s friendship with Ayers, the former leader of an American terrorist group known as Weather Underground.

Barackus Nobamacus of Athens is clearly upset with this ad because it’s true. There is nothing untrue or slanderous about this ad. It simply describes who Ayers is, what he did (in his own words), and that he is friends with Obama. It’s too bad that McCain would never run an ad like this. We need more ads like this because it exposes his highness as being a supporter of an American Hating, Alinsky following terrorist!

I can’t watch the DNC convention; I may have trouble watching the RNC convention because all I see is impressionism over facts, form over substance, faith and trust over reason and logic.
Every now and then I, who know how very stupid these people can be, have to ask myself if this is for real? Do they actually know what they are doing? Do they know what they are saying?
Now we have Corinthian columns that the Romans adopted from the Greeks as a representation and personification of what? I have to say that this guy reminds me, not of Caesar Augustus, but of the infamous Nero, the demented man-child (16 years old) and mad emperor who was the son of Caligula’s sister, Agrippinea, who married her uncle-emperor Claudius and killed him after he made his adopted son Nero heir to the throne. Nero then killed his mother who vied with him for power and control of Rome. What is Nero known for? Rome burned while Nero fiddled. Some say he did it on purpose and that is what I believe because on the site of the devastation he built an extravaganza of public buildings in his name. In effect he decreased taxes on the poor, raised taxes on everyone else and ultimately exhausted the treasury with public spending that Rome could not support in her best days. Yes he helped the poor but he also viciously persecuted Christians, stole money from the Judean Jews and used many as slaves for reconstruction and vast public works. In short Nero was a liberal spender who consolidated power and put to death or exiled those that disagreed with him. When you talk about the fall of Rome look no further than the likes of Nero.
I just love this retarded excuse by the Obama people that he was only 8 years old when his future friend Ayers bombed the Pentagon, Capital & Police Headquarters.

God, this is absolute MADNESS that a guy like this could even be CONSIDERED for any kind of federal seat, let alone be nominated for PRESIDENT.
