Fred Thompson is the only person i would consider qualified to be the next president and i will support his run if he decides to do so.
Any Republican candidate, including the hideous McCain (God forbid), would be better than the two hard core socialists that are currently the democratic frontrunners. I like Romney, Gingrich and Thompson but the latter is likely to win. This guy is harder for the media to trash. Above all we need to succeed. We don’t have all the votes. We still need the votes of the moronic independents and some blue dog democrats. And we need our own votes so please, no self-inflicted wounds this time.

Fred Thompson! Honorable in the Congress and on television – a rare commodity!! Now I’d be in favor of cloning if it pertained to him. I’m from Washington, D.C. born and bred here and as much as I love this area, I despise what it’s become. A democrat-monopolized, liberal cesspool. If you want to see the repercussions of a one-party dominated, social-experiment gone wrong, counter-rascist city, look at DC. So any conception that Libby would get a fair trial in this town is a farce! A jury of his (Washington comPost) peers – what’s with that! You look at a true, honorable politician like Fred Thompson (why do we lose all the good ones) and compare with the gaggle we have running the show now. No honor, morals, ethics – corrupt as the day is long.
This is a man I could be proud to support. He’s honest. Honorable. Much more than could be said about most of American politics..
Please, Senator Thompson, put your name in the presidential ring and give us another conservative option.
It’s about time they locked up that guy. After anouncing the names of those two under-cover agents on tv & having them killed within the hour. Oh wait! That was Robert Toricelli..He’s a Demorat…and exempt from prosecution.

I think that Fred Thompson would be a great President. But if he does not win the Republican nomination for President, I think that he would be an excellent Vice-Presidential candidate. With Rudy Giuliani on the top of the ticket, we would have a nice geographical and cultural balance that would enhance our party’s chances for victory!
