Thursday, Mark played the disgraceful comments of John Murtha promising to deny our troops reinforcements and equipment! Then he played audio of our own troops on the ground in Iraq. These troops are asking for exactly the opposite of what Murtha proposes!

I would like to take a moment here to give some credit where it is due. Thank you president Bush for not backing down.
Forgive my pomposity here, but what am I missing that a politician as corrupt and repulsive as Lard Ass can end up in a position that affects and influences the safety and well-being of the courageous men and women in the uniform that he’s obviously intent on disgracing?!? And just to score political points! Not just him, but all the congressional democrats are odious (and any repubes that would support this travesty). I’m with the Great One – where’s the outrage!

HH, you made my day! I always new there was something not quite right about that guy. These turncoat “vets” like him and Murtha – I rue the day when we can flush out this new democrat trash and after the disgraceful charade of slow bleeding our troops, I hope we can turn it around and in the next 2 years (if not sooner) start exposing each and every one of them and then the shrieker of the house, Pelosi and her “ilk” on both sides of the House will be no more! That’s my hope!

If you are cutting off the reinforcements the generals in the ‘theater of operations’ have requested, how sir is that, “protecting the brave men and women in uniform…†It is political posturing plain and simple. HR. 63 is a pathetic joke, a publicity stunt and I hold you responsible for catering to this fiasco.
Congressman, you took an oath of office that is identical to the military enlistment oath with the one exception, our military swear, “…will obey the orders of the President of the United States, and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Are you an officer appointed over them? Are you the Commander-in-Chief? Hardly. General David Petraeus is now the Commander of the Multinational Force in Iraq. He was voted in weeks ago with 81-0 vote of confidence. He said your actions are demoralizing, and he is in charge now.
