That’s Weiner on the right with the purse!

Weiner shown here putting his Master’s degree in ethnobotany to good use.
Mark Levin beats Michael “Weiner” Savage again – in fact, he has beaten Savage in every single ratings book in New York. Levin has now beaten Weiner in New York City, in 12+, 18-49, 25-54, and 35-64. Here are the numbers:
12+ Levin 4.2
12+ Savage 3.7
18-49 Levin 2.1
18-49 Savage 1.8
25-54 Levin 2.4
25-54 Savage 2.0
35-64 Levin 3.9
35-64 Savage 3.3
Weiner lied on the air tonight – said he beat Mark!

“Weiner lied on the air tonight – said he beat Mark!”
He often does that kind of thing. What an insecure individual.
I have always found him to be depressive. I remember him the first time I ever heard him, and he was saying “I’m bored of politics… I’m in a bad mood… Don’t call me!… And bomb Fallujah!!!
His abrasively overmodulated voice , his tone of contemptuous and dismissive irritation, and his absolutely un-called-for criticism of Rush Limbaugh and others (I suppose Mark Levin as well) really put me off.
I have avoided him completely since Mark Levin made it to WBAP. (I think that Weiner was on 6-8 on another station here 660 KSKY). And when I heard Mark Levin defend Rush Limbaugh against Weiner’s unsolicited criticisms, I knew that my initial dislike of Weiner was well-founded. I only needed a very small dose of the Weiner Nation to dislike and disrespect Weiner to a distressing degree.
Weiner sounds like a man who is displacing a lot of deeply impacted personal anger, anger at things that are utterly separate from the issues he discusses on his show.
That is utterly unlike the fairly-considered indignation of a Mark Levin, whose anger is always appropriately placed at levels that are commensurate with the normative outrage that we, Conservative American citizens, OUGHT to be feeling!
Mark Levin is a clear and masterful communicator of the healthy and necessary passionate anger that comes from an archetypically American heart that is in the right place!
And Mark Levin’s measured approach to his feud with Weiner is an excellent example of what I mean. I expect Mark Levin to respond to Weiner’s latest lies about the ratings with a healthily placed anger that also comes from the hearts of his listeners. And Weiner will unhealthily take out his own personal anger on an eminently inappropriate target- our own Great One!
Whew! I didn’t know that I hated Weiner this much, but I do! Oh well…
i listen live to the great one and listen to savage on the web later.for mark to have a 4.2 on power house WABC to savage’s 3.7 on the ‘wor’st talk stations in america is not the real beat i am sorrey the real deal is HANNITY vs. O’reilly 120,000 vs. 60,000 hade mark been on WOR and savage on’ABC….you know the rest of the storey.
He said Mark talks like a girl and the beautiful Laura talks like a man from WABC.
Everyone should call Weiner nation and say “is this little weiner nation”
Let go of your hate, Luke! Oops, I mean Dub!
joelclymer, I am sorrey, but you seem to have problem with spelling. Too many e’s. Who are you really, Dan Quayle?
I didn’t know that Weiner hung out with Jerry Garcia. And what kind of infomercial is that other picture about?
To hear Weiner bash conservatives and do kissy face interviews to people like Schmucky Shumer, one would think him a good fit for Gas Bag Amerika.
Wow, thanks for the education…I never knew Mark was talking about Savage when he’d mention Weiner Nation.
The best thing about Weiner Nation to me is the intro bumper music…Now Listen UP….
PittChiro
In the second picture, Weiner looks like a snake oil salesman!
I guess some things never change!
Savage vs. Levin = Weiner vs. Winner
Congrats to The Great One!
By the looks of the pictures, I think Baldwin was talking about Weiner, not Hannity. It’s Weiner who is the “no talent Whore”. What else has he tried to sell?
Welcome back, FireFighter4Bush!
You can now click on the 2nd picture to get a larger view! LOL!
Check it out, I just added the Weiner Nation theme song to the post! LOL!
Love the purse you savage. Is that Wavy Gravy’s brother on the left? And why is he holding his stomach like he is some kind of pregnant lady? Quit crying Weiner about those who are kicking your butt in the ratings.
Weiner’s a goober.
I hope the Great One kicks his ass in the ratings from Sea to Shining Sea.
And another thing…I depise the way Wiener talks poorly of Limbaugh while knowing full-well the man is singlehandedly responsible for talk radio industry being the force it is today.
Doesn’t the Wiener look cute with his purse?!?
Gary, I didn’t know that Weiner criticized women, too. What a girlie man.
Okay, I see the photos above, I’ve heard parts of his radio program, now, please, someone explain to me how this guy has the 3rd largest talk show audience in the country behind Rush and Sean. What’s in those pills he’s selling?
I think is has to do with the way he plays on anger, he’s angry and bitter, so he plays on the anger of others. He wakes up in the morning and figures out what most people are angry about and decides that he’s angry about it too, must be great to have a job that fits in with your pathology.
Someone somewhere is going to be angry about something or other, the trick is getting enough people to think that your just as angry about it. The problem that Wiener has is that people are starting to notice that he’s angry about pretty much everything. But as long as there are others out there that are seething and bitter about most things, he’ll have an audience.
In the words of the young….Weiner is a poser. Sean has often mentioned that there are people working in talk radio who don’t believe in the message, and only want the notarity…or to sell us something. This guy was a snake oil saleman years ago; I suspect he’s still in the business.
May The Force be with us all, Obi-Wan!- er, I mean, MarkLevinFan!
I used to listen to him when he was local here in the SF Bay Area. He got fired up sometimes, buthe was relatively normal. Since he has been syndicated and gone national, he has gotten lame. Someone got to him or he just let it all go to his head. He has gone wacko. Maybe it is the VD…
There is no doubt that Mark Levin is an intelligent, well-versed conserservative voice. I have listended to him and find him highly informative. I also admire his boldness. However, there is simply no comparison between the radio skills of Mark Levin and Michael Weiner (Savage). Weiner is talented beyond all his rivals. His educational background, despite the insults hurled his way, is vast and indicative of the depth of his intelligence. His ability to communicate historical world data exceeds anything you will hear from the other hosts. Levin has a much greater grasp of the U.S. Constitution. However, on a world plane, no one can touch Weiner. Where Weiner leaves Rush, Hannity and Levin in the dust is in the area of overall talent. Weiner can take any topic, however mundane it might be normally, and turn it into some of the greatest monolgoues you would hear anywhere. His stories from everyday life are exceptional. As for his credentials to speak as a conservative leader, Weiner can rightfully boast that he is not tied to the Republican Party. My feeling is that too many hosts are reluctant to place Bush under the same scrutiny that they placed Clinton under. We need to be intellectually honest in our appraisal of leaders and not hyper-loyal to party affiliation. Thank you for allowing me to submit my opinion on Michael Savage/Weiner.
James, you say “on a world plane, no one can touch Weiner?” I’m getting on a plane today. I hope I won’t be touching any Weiners!
Weiner is borderline racist at best. I also dont believe he is conservative in any way. His past lifestyle leans very liberal. I think he found a way in order to make lots of money and he rolls with it, by pretending to be conservative. As far as I am concerned the only talent Weiner has is his ability to sound like a cry baby when he cant plug his latest book.
James, you said:
ROFL! I hope that is also true for domestic flights. We’ll consider you, the author or that, as the source in your evaluation of conservative talk-radio hosts.
Michael Weiner, aka Michael Savage is, in my opinion, a money grubbing, radical sleaze.
First of all, I do want to thank you for allowing me the opportunity to engage in this discussion. As I wrote in my first contribution, Mark Levin is highly intelligent and a genuine constitutional expert. But his references to the “Weiner Nation” are no doubt rooted in sheer jealousy. I will give Levin credit above most of the other conservative talk show hosts, though. Rush and Hannity pretend that Michael Savage (Weiner) does not even exist. I have heard Rush read word-for-word columns, written by liberals, which name Limbaugh, Savage and Levin. However, when Rush reads articles like these, he purposely omits Savage (or Weiner) from the reading, while including all others. Levin does acknowledge Savage, albeit in a mocking tone and by using the Weiner name. Nevertheless, Levin is quite obviously insecure (as are the others) in the face of Weiner’s superior overall intellectual and talent level. Thank you.
Oh puhleese! I’ve listened to Weiner. He’s a mental patient!
Mark has been a conservative all of his life, believes in the Constitution so passionately that he pursued a career in Constitutional law defending it.
Weiner is a nutritionalist and hung out with liberals for the earlier part of his life.
I’m sorry but Weiner can’t hold Levin’s jockstrap!
James, I have a couple questions.
Speaking of insecure, why did he change his name from Weiner to Savage? Does he want to be considered a tough guy and not a dick? Why should Rush or anyone for that matter acknowledge someone who does nothing but smear you? Its the same as O’Reilly not mentioning Keith Obermans name. O’Reilly just says smear merchant. If Weiner is more superior in intellect and talent, why must Weiner lie about his ratings? And if Marks ratings are superior to Weiner’s, what does Mark have to be jealous about. Mark has a beautiful family, a successful law firm, and a radio show that is taking over the country. Whats to be jealous about? Because Weiner is out in San Fran and her can get better fish to eat? I’m sure Mark would rather have a porterhouse.
Ladies and Gentleman,
The comments submitted are interesting, yet lacking in depth. I can overlook that, for my own time at present is scarce. As for Levin’s passion for the Constitution, I twice have already conceded that point with great admiration. I attempt to be fairminded when venturing into the territory of comparing bright minds. However, to denigrate Weiner’s education, his earned doctorate in nutrional ethnomedicine and his rank as scholar at Hebrew University School of Pharmacy, stoops to a level of intellectual dishonesty. You may not like Dr. Weiner and that is fine. But to trample upon a legitmate eductation reveals a foolhardy approach. I prefer to strive for a more calculating, circumspect and prudent form of analysis. Weiner is by no means a cookie-cutter conservative. He did, in fact, mingle with a cross-section of individuals in his younger years, including liberals. That makes his bold conclusions about the left and right in this country all the more valid, genuine and sophisticated. Weiner today needs very few friends. He is quite content to stand alone, personally, professionally and party-wise. Few in the media can claim that type of independence. Most rely on a circle of other hosts, celebrities or politicians, to further their careers or widen their visibilty. Savage (Weiner) is unique in that he really is a voice crying in the wilderness. When time allows, I would like to answer Long Island Pete’s implication that Weiner somehow demonstrates insecurity by using the name Savage instead of his given surname. History will clearly reveal Weiner’s choice to do so is not at all peculiar nor a sign of an unassured personality. As for Savage’s alleged twisting of the ratings, or lying (as Long Island Pete charges), anyone with a modicum of understanding of the radio business would be able to discern the numbers properly. In fact, the latest ratings clearly indicate that Savage is dominant in his time slot in New York City, placing even your revered Levin in a secondary role. As the old adage suggest, figures never lie but liars always figure. Those in or closely connected to the business know full well that the latest statistics are beyond dispute. Firfighter4Bush
says that he “has listened to Weiner.” I applaud the good firefighter for his courage and candor. But I must wonder, how much of Dr. Weiner has our dear friend really listened to? Five minutes? Twenty minutes? Or, to be objective and unbiased, would he listen to Savage for an entire week and then offer his insights, unvarnished by his present overt bias? Once again, I do thank each of you for granting me access into your forum.

Exactly the point James. If I wanted analysis on nutrition or pharmacology, Weiner would be the guy.
I will admit that I listened to about three of his shows at a time when I wasn’t able to hear Levin. I could not stand to listen to another minute.
By the way, when is the last time he went skinny dipping in Fiji anyway?
One thing is for certain… A weiner even by another name is still a weiner!
James, I’m not going to cut you off or anything, but this site is for MARK LEVIN fans, not Weiner Nation fans. Thus the name. I suggest you start a site called WeinerFan.com. LOL!
I think James might be a lib. He cant answer a direct question/questions.

James also said, “As for his credentials to speak as a conservative leader, Weiner can rightfully boast that he is not tied to the Republican Party. James this is another comment that I must take exception with.
You seem to believe that all conservatives are Republicans. I for one, am an unaffiliated conservative. I appreciate that Levin breaks fom Republicans just as I do on certain issues that are core conservative beliefs.
Mark has been a conservative all of his political life. He speaks about his experience as a young man working for Arlen Spector. He left Spector because Spector did not stand for conservative issues.
Mark is intellectually honest and puts his conservative ideology before party affiliation as I do. He has criticized Bush and his administration whenever they sell out for political expediency. If you haven’t heard him do that, you aren’t listening to the show.
That is the thing that I admire most about Levin, he is consistant. He is conservative to the core and has been for all of his political life.
Dammit! I spelled Arlen’s last name wrong. Sphincter. Sorry Arlen!
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Good morning! I must respond to Long Island Pete, ever so briefly. Pete, you assert that I may be a liberal and that I cannot answer a direct question. I wonder if an unbiased reader, not loyal to either Levin or Savage, would draw that conclusion after reading my posts and yours. I have done my best not to resort to silly remarks or insulting humor. I have attempted, within the limited timeframe available to me, to respectfully dialogue on this forum. Pete, was it not you who drew comparisons between Savage eating fish in San Francisco while Levin prefers porterhouse steaks? Excuse my limited intellect, Pete, but are you not more prone to stray from the subject matter than I? You also have accused Dr. Weiner of being “racist.” You must be kidding, Pete! Dr. Weiner has a much broader base of ethnic backgrounds listening and calling than probably anyone in radio. In 2004 I attended a live event (one of the few that Dr. Weiner does) at a large venue. I had just been to a Sean Hannity event one month prior. The difference in demographics was telling. When I went to Hannity’s not only was the crowd about twelve times smaller (poor Sean was trying to sell tickets for the show on his radio program that very day, and still, only about five hundred showed up in an auditorium that holds 2800), but it was as lilly white as anything I have ever seen. I am not critical of that, I just want to draw a comparison for the sake of Long Island Pete. I saw no one of color, period. Sean, of course, is not at all prejudiced (I sincerely mean that), but his appeal seemed to be largely anglo-saxon (at least in my area). When I went to Savage’s event, he had over 7,000 people there with virtually no adverstising (just a few mentions on his radio show here and there, not on a regular basis at all, just kind of tossed into the mix of his regular stuff…no actual advertisements). I said all of that to say this: I saw an amazing demographic, Pete. Thousands there, made up of virtually every walk of society: Blacks, Asians, Hispanics, Young, Old, Blue-Collar, White Collar, Geeks, Bikers…it was incredible! To suggest Dr. Weiner is “racist”, Pete is ludicrous. He clearly connects with a true cross-section of America without even trying.
On a further note, Long Island Pete, you boast of Levin’s career success and family. I rejoice to know that he enjoys fruit on both levels. But to use that as a means of comparison (on the subject of any possible professional jealousy or rivalry) is absurd. Dr. Michael Weiner also has a great family. That really has nothing to do with our discussion, but since you raised it, allow me to inform you. Savage’s son, Russ, launced and runs a very successful company which makes and distributes RockStar energy drinks. The company is huge. Yet you will hear no RockStar ads on Savage’s show. The younger Weiner was raised to be independent as well. What you will learn, though, by listening to Savage, is that he and his son are very close. They recently spent a week together for vacation on one of the great naval ships. All of this is a moot point, perhaps. But I am simply trying to respond to Pete, who accuses me of not answering questions.
Lastly, to MarkLevinFan: Thank you for assuring me that you will not cut me off. And I do appreciate your recommendation about starting a Savage blog. But with all due respect, Fan, is not the topic of this one “Levin Beats Savage Again!”? I only concluded that the two hosts in question are worthy of discussion since the forum seems to imply such.
Enjoy your day, Ladies and Gentlemen!
James I said border line racist, not racist and if you can’t see that you must be blind. Please tell me how and why he lost his TV gig. I know race wasn’t involved but this guy does have hate inside of him. You can feel it in the words he writes. You said Mark was the jealous one, not me and the only thing I could think of that Mark would be jealous of is SF has a wider variety of fish than the East Coast. You made statements, I had questions, you haven’t answered them yet. You must be a lib. I am waiting for answers and showed you proof of ratings. I am done with you. Have a nice Weiner day.
