Who is Bill O’Reilly looking after?

by @ Tuesday, September 30th, 2008. Filed under Uncategorized

Last week, Bill O’Reilly was smearing conservative talk-radio show host Rush Limbaugh and others calling them “cool aid drinking idiots” for arguing against the Wall Street bailout bill. He insinuated that Rush was so rich he was out of touch with common folks. He mentioned the cigar smoking and private jet that Rush [...]

Mark R. Levin: Thank You, House Republicans

by @ Tuesday, September 30th, 2008. Filed under Mark R. Levin

I have read the posts here and elsewhere. Sometimes these things are made to look more complicated than they really are. From an economic perspective, if the problem is liquidity and credit, there simply is no need for the federal government to assume massive amounts of debt on its book by assuming loans in anticipation [...]

Why the Congressional Black Caucus killed House bailout bill today

by @ Monday, September 29th, 2008. Filed under Barack Obama

Under the Democrats’ original plan, 20% of what the Treasury recouped from the risky loans it purchased would have gone to ACORN and other Leftist organizations like LaRaza. House Republicans forced the leadership of the Democrat Party to remove that provision.
At 228 – 205, a 12-vote swing would have passed the bailout bill in the [...]

Steven Holmes, writing in the New York Times, on September 30, 1999
In moving, even tentatively, into this new area of lending, Fannie Mae is taking on significantly more risk, which may not pose any difficulties during flush economic times. But the government-subsidized corporation may run into trouble in an economic downturn, prompting a government rescue [...]

by @ Thursday, September 25th, 2008. Filed under Mark Levin Audio

On Bill O’Reilly’s radio show today he smeared Right Wing Radio Conservatives, calling them, in one example, ‘kool aid drinking idiots’. Mark took him to task and called him out on the air.

Spewing nonsense like that, O’Reilly will soon find himself looking out for another gig! What a dope! Sheesh!
Update: Perhaps Bill [...]
