		<description>Gee, I would never have guessed that Peolosi was capable of using her political influence to actually create a conflict of interest. Possibly her friend, Diane Feinstein, while on a defense appropriations committee, who did a fine job of funneling military contracts into her husbandÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s company, tutored her. Dick Cheney has got to wonder why he ever gave up all the Halliburton stock just so he could become VP.

What ever happened to the concept that even the appearance of impropriety should be avoided? After all isn&#039;t that  the standard that is demanded from republicans or else they deserve to be investigated? Yet, if you are a democrat, that is an accepted political office perk and you only need to ask the New Orleans representative, William Jefferson, how ridiculous it is for anyone to even consider how such profitable behavior could be deemed unethical.</description>
