Scott. While there were conservatives who ignored Weiner after his infamous wishful AIDS comment, there was one other conservative who denounced Weiner after he made the wishful AIDS comment.

Brent Bozell of the Media Research Center wrote a column on Weiner about Weiner’s conservatism being cartoonish and how he applauded MSNBC’s decision to fire Weiner after he made the comment on the air. Although Bozell also pointed out the hypocrisy on how the leftists get away with such comments, he described how Weiner’s audience for that TV show were pretty much bored channel flippers who watched Weiner’s program.

I think I can answer why Mark and other conservatives didn’t mention Weiner’s oral diahrrea about the AIDS thing, Steve:

Conservatives, for good reason, don’t include Weiner as part of the conservative movement. He’s an embarrassment, a scumbag, and a fraud. Ann screwed up…….but she’s STILL a qualified part of the movement (and rightfully SO).

Without question, there’s a silent agreement where the two biggest conservative radio hosts (Rush & Hannity) just ignore Weiner’s pathetic attempts to bait them into responding to his pointless attacks. They KNOW that all Weiner wants is for them to give him some cheap attention by mentioning his fake name (“Savage”) on the air……..and they won’t give him what he wants. That drives the jealous little puke NUTS.

Instead, it’s MARK who puts Weiner in his cross hairs……..and in effect, he exposes him for a currently-growing audience, while Rush & Sean can effectively thumb their noses at him by refusing to even acknowledge his sorry existence. Before long, Mark’s audience will take over as the third-largest in talk radio……..and his exposing Weiner as more related to the unhinged left will be his own personal feather in his cap. And, more importantly, a very WELCOMED one by all good conservatives.

That being said, I doubt that even Mark would waste his time defending Ann by pointing to ANYTHING Weiner says. What Ann did was stupid…….but she STILL deserves better than THAT.

Well, I wish Ann Coulter bit her tongue when she was making that speech at CPAC considering how the media would handle it, but the important thing to remember is liberals said much worse than what Ann Coulter had said and had gotten away with it.

I am surprised Mark did not bring up the Weiner Nation incident when Weiner wished AIDS on a caller that got him ousted from TV considering Weiner’s speech then (and now) was even worse than Ann’s speech.

In the military they say that there is a bullet with “your name” on it but you don’t want to get killed by a bullet with the name “fool” on it. Ann Coulter is a smart person. She made a mistake, only because the media is operated by liberals. Ann can take the hit and sometimes enjoys it. This time she made other people pay a price. Their message was lost in the cacophony that followed. When you bait the media set a trap for them such as with the Dan Rather fiasco. Let them run with it and then set the hook. A couple of events like that and they become shy about getting caught again. You have to strategize when dealing with the media. It is easy to hate them but it is best to win.

We play right into the hands of very unethical media. Either we as conservatives own the media or the liberals own the media. Right now liberals own the media. DonÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢t help them. DonÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢t expect the truth let alone a break. This war is just as much with the media as with the liberals in office. In fact it is more so because that is the front end that a very uneducated and susceptible public sees and that is who votes dolts into power.
Until we own, control or buy more friendly media coverage anticipate the coverage of controversy and that conservatives will always be unfairly represented. This requires ingenious countermeasures to set our own traps and awareness not to step into traps we unwittingly design and set for ourselves.
