So-called Tea Party leaders not helping

Mark Levin raises the legitimate point that some of the conservative “Tea Party” leaders are dropping the ball when there’s an opportunity to use their leadership toward tangible, positive results.

Think of the impact a Glenn Beck interview would have for Christine O’Donnell’s campaign, for example. Beck just attracted close to a million people for a rally in Washington, DE, recently. Beck billed it as a “non-political” rally. But, WHY? What would be wrong with supporting conservative candidates that NEED the support from a national leader in the Tea Party movement?

There are others, as well. Sarah Palin seems to be one that is picking and choosing who to support, not based on the best conservative in a race, but the candidate most likely to add a win to her score card. Why is she silent about Christine O’Donnell? Christine seems to be a perfect fit for the “Mamma Grizzly” mold. Yesterday, Palin re-tweeted one positive thing about Christine. Before that, I was starting to think she was supporting Castle! After all, she has a history of supporting RINOs. (ie. John McCain) If she is interested in stopping the Obama agenda, she MUST publicly endorse Christine ASAP!

You can now add Rush Limbaugh to the list of conservative leaders that have stepped up to the plate! He is talking about the Delaware primary race and just spoke with a conservative caller from Delaware.

Mark is right – not all leaders are true leaders…there are a lot of posers out there just feeding their inflated egos. I don’t know if Mark realizes how rare HE is – and why he is significantly different than any other talker working today, including his closest friends. We, the people and fans, know the difference – and that is why we are here. He does for radio what Reagan did for politics…and he displays the same humility as George Washington in regards to leadership. I used to wish I could have been around at the time of the Revolution; I no longer wish that. This time period is every bit as important, and I am damn proud to link arms with my ideological brothers and sisters in defense of this great nation.

I saw on Drudge the publicity shot of Obama’a audition for the Temptations. Here is his version of “My Girl” for the Tea Partiers.

Thank you, thank you very much…

The group should be the DRIFTERS. “… there goes my Congress, moving on down the line. Wonder where, wonder where, wonder where they are bound? I screwed them badly and now they’re gone and I’m alone, so all alone. What can I do, what can I do”?
