No one spit on at Capitol Hill; Congressman sprayed by shouting man and no N-word heard

by @ 9:18 pm on March 24, 2010. Filed under health care

As the video below clearly shows, no one spit on Congressman Lewis this past weekend as he entered the Capitol building. At 1 minute 25 seconds in, Congressman Emmanuel Cleaver is seen flinching from what is obviously spray from a man shouting through hands cupped to amplify his voice. And there is no sound of anyone using the N-word. Both appear to have been scurrilous accusations. (Watch the man in the dark blue T-shirt wearing a white hat.)

Yes, the crowd was loud and passionate. So what? Compared to the lib freak shows put on by the antiwar crowd, the anti-health care rallies in D.C. looked and sounded like choir practice. Liberals were just playing the usual race card, seeking sympathy for the health care bill, another piece of tyrannical legislation.

SPRAY=stray spittle from yelling out louder than usual speaking voice(man in white hat). There was no “spray”! These politicians’ hatred for these average citizens voicing their dissent to a Government out of control, have been simmering away. Such an incident merely brings it out in the open!

These tea party protests are LAME, and SISSY, compared to those violent, VICIOUS anti-war protests! It is just that Liberals, and Democrats do not tolerate dissent. Have you noticed that, especially in your general discourse with them? Make no mistake. This race baiting, and demonization of the tea party is a precursor to Shamnesty that Obama will ram home. Obama needs the instant voting bloc of the illegals in 2012 so that he at least remain in the White House to veto any repeal attempts by a (projected) Republican-controlled Congress. Don’t take Obama for a fool even though his speeches are laughable with all its inane, and ridiculous “creative accounting”. He is a Chicago homegrown thug. He knows how to play dirty to get what he wants. He is a street fighter.

  2. I was on the ground level when this happened, and filmed a similar video but I didn’t see the phony spitting. I had no idea about the allegations until later that night when I first heard about them. I certainly heard no racial slurs or anything like that when they were going through the crowd. I know Congressman Cleaver passed by mean and gave me a mean look and looked back a second later, so I think he was looking to start something with someone, so he could run to the media and make his claims, knowing they’d run with it.

I’m rather impressed that so many angry people are acting as calm as they have been after realizing how much liberty was confiscated in the short amount of time that this Administration has abused its Constitutional limitations.

So far we’ve seen no destruction of property, no riot police, no video of anything other than a few signs written in poor taste. Compare that to the WTO riots that resulted in burning cars and smashed windows, anti-war protestors, the student protests in NY, Fresno and Ottawa and a film about assassinating Bush. The media deliberately fails to consider that this HC Law has also startled and irritated independents and many democrats who are realizing for the first time what conservatives have understood and put up with for years.

These people are frightened as well as angry. The only thing keeping this economy together is faith. We saw what Schumer did to Indybank which was not in trouble. We are spending at light speed and the public rightly understands that we are literally counterfeiting the money and jeopardizing the financial health of every American now and for generations to come.

The left is always looking for a Reichstag moment to personalize and propagandize. They would especially lavish it now because they need to take the focus off their illegitimate legislation. Never underestimate an Alinsky inspired Administration to craft a falsehood so that they can authorize the local authorities to bypass the First Amendment in the interest of public safety. Propaganda is the prelude to coercion.

“Congress shall make no law … prohibiting the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances”.

So far these demonstrations have been peaceful and from what I have seen and heard represent real people with real concerns about the Country we all love, the Country the rest of the World, for better or for worse, dreams they could be.

The original tea party participants had no idea that what they did would inspire others several hundred years later. The difference between then and now is that this government is far more outrageous than George the Third and yet the response has been totally peaceful.

Here is the litmus test: google “violent protests or demonstrations, in the U.S. and around the world (try Australia), and see who these protesters are!

Liberals can moan and groan about panting with a broad brush when it comes to pointing out that all suicide bombers have been muslins but they have no trouble in describing the entire tea party movement in the same light based on their opinion of a few signs constructed in bad taste.

It’s a STRATEGY of the Dems & Libs to alienate, tarnish, demonize, and SILENCE opponents of SOCIALISED MEDICINE!

President Bush was cursed and insulted by those outside and inside of Congress. Even a documentary on Bush assasination was made. Where were these cry babies then?

Are we surprised? Those who are bigots, racists, are the first to accuse others to be so. True to their EVIL bent, Libs and Dems want to silence the American citizen who oppose their Marxist Agenda. If they could, they would enact Tienamen Square – what China did to her dissenting citizens in 1988!

If the media really wanted to explore threats they might want to checkout the arm twisting applied by the House Leadership along with the Administration and DNC regarding House members forcibly persuaded to vote for the HC Bill

You can rest assured that no republicans voted “no” because they were threatened to do so.
