In New Jersey, only 39% of heavily Democrat and urban Hudson County turned out. Meanwhile, those carrying the heaviest burden of stifling state taxes in well-populated Morris (rural), Monmouth (commuter), and Ocean (business and middle to upper incomes) had high turnouts for Christie. Mr. Obama: can you hear us now?

The Obama strategy is not about pleasing everyone.

The economy will go to hell as the Administration’s policies persist. The problem that we face is that he cares not a wit for how the taxpayers feel; he cares about how those receiving his redistributions feel. His problem relates to getting those people, on the receiving end, to show up and vote. I have always felt that socialism persists when people on the receiving end out vote those on the providing end. That is better accomplished by doing what they have done in France. About 35% support everyone else.
