How a lawyer became a Mark Levin fan on the way to the airport

Karen Lee Torre is a New Haven trial lawyer who litigates civil rights issues in the federal courts. She is looking forward to this year’s Federalist Society’s National Lawyers Convention and not just because Supreme Court Justice Sam Alito will give a keynote address. She explains, “[A]mong those I’d really love to meet is someone who ought to bring some spice to the affair — Mark Levin, radio host and popular author.” Torre tells a great story about both Mark’s demographics and how she became a fan.

Torre of New Haven? She’s the lawyer for those New Haven firefighters who won the reverse discrimination case at the Supreme Court, the one Sonia Sotomayor tried to hide and bury in New York.

That is correct about Torre. She did a great job for those brothers in New Haven. The progress she has made for equal rights FOR ALL was something that I never thought I’d see. I applaud her and loved to know that she is becoming a Levinite as I have been for the last six years.
