Homeward bound to Australia, fan Heath calls Mark Levin

by @ 9:31 pm on October 13, 2009. Filed under Mark Levin Audio

Our good friend and fellow Mark Levin fan, Heath from Australia, is nearing the end of his vacation in the U.S.A. He called into the show tonight and spoke with Mark:

Heath: Thanks for making the trip. It was great to meet you at the picnic. — Sgt Tim

  1. Mo K. says:

Wish I could have met you as well as some of the other MLF folks, Heath. That was a great phone call to The Great One. Thank you for your support of America, and Godspeed on your way back home.

  2. MLF says:

Heath, great call! It was a pleasure to show you around New York City, Washington DC and Delaware while you were visiting America! I look forward to your return trip next year!

    • MLF says:

I also thank Anna and Anthony for meeting with us in NYC and Donovan for that great tour of The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier guard quarters!
And I must also thank all of the folks who made it to my house for the 4th annual MLF.com picnic! We had a great time, as usual.

  3. Don from Manassas says:

Heath, I am glad you enjoyed it, and hope you had a wonderful holiday here.

  4. PunditFight says:

Nice to hear an Australian on ‘The Mark Levin Show’.
Mark should definitely come down to Australia, no excuses now.

  5. DrWhoFan65 says:

Heath, good to finally hear your voice-and great job! Mark doesn’t usually keep a caller on that long!

Are you in fact planning to visit again next year? Our friend Hammer and I discussed earlier trying to make the next MLF picnic/BBQ (if the fates decide there is to be one), and your being there would make it that much better.

  6. Ah, Heath and I had a great time!

We sat on either side of Scotts living room chatting in the chat box. How that boy can talk!

  7. task says:

Nice call Mate. That Aussie accent came through a lot better on the radio than in person.

I appreciated the comment on New Zealand regarding socialism but neither Australia or New Zealand has such a progressive redistributive socialist mentality as exists in America. They collect a touch more fairly and distribute a lot more fairly and obviously neither one, surrounded by water, has America’s illegal problem nor would they put up with it. Furthermore there is no way either nation would enable the agenda of Obama and this screwball Congress.

I know that one of the highlights of his trip, forever remembered, will be that call last night. Good, call from a good man who understands American history and patriotism a lot better than many Americans. In some respects he is more American than Australian and certainly has more American spirit and patriotism than many Americans who take the freedom that we have for granted.

Everyone appreciated his visit. He is welcome back anytime, the door will always be open and, God willing, his friends will still be here to contribute to the pleasure and enjoyment of his stay.

  8. Heath says:

Thanks for your kind comments. It was so much fun meeting y’all at the picnic, after all these years of chatbox! A very special thanks to Scott and his family for hosting me, Anna & Anthony for showing us fabulous NYC (WOW), and Donovan for organising the special tour of Arlington- with a special tour of the guards’ quarters of the Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier. AWESOME.

There is no other place on earth like America. She was born into civilization because without her, our civilization would have been long condemned to the eternal night of tyranny. She is the beacon of hope we all still cling to. There are those with a collectivist vision for America. My father was born and raised in such a society – a Communist country where everyone was “equal”(yes, equally miserable). I have seen through my father’s eyes what life is under such regimes. I suggest all Libs befriend an American citizen who were from Socialist, Communist, etc regimes. Find out what they know about what you hanker for. See if that is still what you want for America.

Thank you to the US Military. They are our defenders of freedom – for America, as well as for other countries around the world. My Tee shirt today says – SUPPORT THE TROOPS. That is exactly my point of view.

Then there are those soldiers and defenders of freedom in front of the microphone such as Mark Levin, and his famous colleagues in Talk Radio. Thank you Mark. Your voice is especially important as America steers through uncharted turbulent waters that threaten her very
existence and ideals envisioned by her Founding Fathers.

Since my last trip, there hasn’t been a day I have not missed America. I am leaving again. I know I will keep missing her again until I return. America, you are BEAUTIFUL!. God Bless You America.

    • Anna says:

My father came from another country too…and he taught us the same. To truly know what it is like under an oppressive regime, you must get to know the average citizen that has no connection to the government, or vested interest in the government. The people – the REAL people of the world – know and understand the United States. No amount of Communism, Socialism, or Statism can block the light of Liberty.

  9. Tom says:

Nice call Heath! I was wondering about your interest in American politics. I think Mark enjoyed your call!

  10. FRANK COLLATT says:

Heath!! That was a Great Call!! My wife was listening, and I was on the MarkLevinFan.com site, and when I heard the call come in, I said that must be Heath from Australia, and she said yeah!! Somehow we just knew it was you. It was destined to happen Heath!! AWESOME!! Look forward to chatting with you in the future. Glad you had a nice time on your visit Heath. There are some super nice folks all over this Great Country of Ours, and I am sure you folks had a good time on the East Coast!! Take care, have a good flight back home!!

  11. Anna says:

Hi Heath! Excellent call and I had a blast meeting you in NYC and spending some time with you at the picnic! Have a safe flight home…and next year we have to get you to Philadelphia and Independence Hall.

  12. Heath says:

Tim, thanks for the special cap you gave me – only to be worn on SPECIAL occasions. GREAT meeting you too, Tim, a fine American patriot, who cherishes the Founding Fathers’ vision for America! God bless you, and may God continue to Bless America the Beautiful.

  13. Heath says:

G’day Tom, I did one semester of American Politics as a Business undergraduate, long before I began to understand American Politics, and long before I chose a side – RIGHT. Yeah right! LOL I took the subject, then, because of my love for America and wanted to know more. I still remember the tutor’s name for this subject – Mike Connolly. Probably from CT. So that could spell L-I-B! LOL.

So I already knew the 3 arms of the US Government – Executive, Legislative, and Judiciary. The Founding Fathers foresaw the dangers of unfettered Government over her citizens – Land of the FREE, Home of the Brave.

  14. Handyman says:

    Hi Heath.
Did you make it to Billy Bob’s?
