Beck is cozying up with RuPaul
Seems Glenn Beck fans like Ron Paul. We like to refer to him as RuPaul. LOL!
UPDATE: Follow the links below to read more!
Yes, Glenn Beck has adopted Ron Paul and the fans of Ron Paul have adopted Beck. Isn’t that special. I guess I need to prepare for another spam attack by the RuPaulies and the Beckies!

I am glad I banned Nick and Chris; their written drooling over that photo would have been creepy.
I always thought Ron Paul was the spiritual leader behind the ‘Tea Party protest’ movement. The uprising was largely an extension of the well organised and passionate base Paul amassed during his campaign. Supporting his platform of “Right and left are just as bad” and fiscal conservatism.
I also knew Paul was seen as a crank by most of the pundits of influence. I mostly thought that was just in context of the election – people didn’t want him bashing Bush too hard or become the candidate against preferred Republicans. But after Ann Coulter pretty much endorsed him as a man of influence moving forward I thought the worm would turn for the better for him and his supporters. Enter the Tea Party movement.
And now enter Glenn Beck. So to hear the backlash against Beck, I’m starting to wonder – Are the pundits now turning against the people of the Tea Party movement? Some have already speculated its dangerous for conservatives to totally get behind the 9/12 movement as that community is erratic and difficult to contain – much like Beck.
PunditFight also badly misquoted Mark and his transcription is confusing:
The second sentence was actually the beginning of a new paragraph, Mark’s second stated reason for publicly differing with Beck was “his fascination with Ron Paul.” PunditFight’s transcription is off-putting as you briefly pause to sort out if Mark had switched away from talking about Beck to talking about Ron Paul. Listen to the brief audio again and you will hear that Mark was making a second point and had not switched targets. What PunditFight left out about Paul is important so here is what Mark actually said about Beck in reference to Ron Paul:
Mark was clearly saying Beck’s fascination with him promotes Ron Paul’s disparagement of our military (that is what it amounts to) and isolationist views. Yet all the while Beck professes that he feels we need to take the fight to the enemy. Well Mr. Beck, which is it?
Note: The pro-Beck fans are welcome to intelligently reply yet all a$$hat 9/11 truther-type pro-Paulers will be banned on sight. I detest 9/11 truthers only slightly less so than the Islamo-Nazi’s that murdered a member of my family on 9/11.
I feel that Mark has despised Glenn for quite some time, long before Glenn’s statement on Couric.
I’m a long time fan of Glenn’s and sometimes he says silly things. However, he truly loves and cares about our Country.
He stated that Teddy Roosevelt was a Progrssive(he’s read extensively about him) and John Mccain is very similar to him.
Glenn has repeatedly said he doesn’t agree with everything Ron Paul says, because some of Paul’s ideas are outrageous. Glenn is not a 911 truther. I was living in Florida on Sept 11, 2001. Glenn has never, ever stated that the attack was anything but a terrorist act. After 911, his program was aired twice a day on a Tampa radio station. His popularity soared.
His show became National.
On his Sept 9th radio program, Glenn said he heard great things about Mark’s book. He said Liberty and Tyranny has been of great assistance to our Country.
Mark continually berates Glenn, when all of the Conservative talk show hosts are supposed to stand together during this frightening time for our Country.
Judie P:
While Beck has never said anything to indicate he is a truther, he is pandering to Ron Paul’s isolationists and just replayed and embraced his own “horizontal” tape, he is “leaning.” He now seems to embrace Paul’s blaming America for its “foreign entanglements” (Israel), that we brought al Qaeda’s attacks upon ourselves. How is that different than Obama’s apologies to Muslims “worldwide”?
We did not bring those attacks on ourselves yet that thinking infected last year’s election. We need to hash this out now, before 2010 and 2012. There is no ‘leaning’ in our national defense; America needs to fight its enemies on their turf or go hide under the bed.
Sgt Tim thanks for having a look at the site. Sorry if there was any confusion I will update the blog and insert your better transcript. I can assure it was not transcripted in that original fashion through any sort of malice. Laziness or expediency could be the most negative word you could use. It is a sort shorthand I’ve used for the entire blog and I will be better in its application in the future if people find it misleading.
I don’t have a personal preference for any pundit. I try to listen to as many of them as possible from the left and the right and try to make objective observations. My blog is about the analogy that Punditry is like pro-wrestling so that’s the main prism I view and talk about things in. Not only in the feuding and combat aspect of it but also the psychology, theatrical presentation and charisma. Mark Levin and Glenn Beck are two of the most highlighted personalities of my site, Levin because he’s not afraid to call people out and “cut promos”. Glenn Beck is also fruitful because of his use overly theatrical presentation.

So being told that “I assume you got your RuPaul alert and came running over here” is baffling to me. I actually come over here a lot because I use it as my main source to keep abreast of all things Levin. I’ve used this site many times to source audio for the various monologues/feuds/rants Mark has engaged in. One of them obviously has been Mark’s disagreements with Beck.

PunditFight, I have retracted my first comment. I didn’t know about your blog when I posted that.
However, after reading your posts, I am curious about you. What are your own political views?
PunditFight: I was not attacking you, only correcting any misperceptions about what Mark said (some attacking Mark for what he said have admitted or let slip they have not listened to what he said).
I will tell you the site owner and I both object to your direct linking to the audios we clip. We request that if you mention an audio that you link to the post where the audio is contained. As you know, this takes a bit of work and site hits and trackbacks indicate someone is viewing our work while direct linking to audio does not register making them impossible to discern.
Kati Couric has finally hit the achilles heel that Obama was looking for with her sound bite of Glenn Beck. Scarbough,Frum (2 phoney conservatives) are all over the bandwagon and including clips from Mark’s show to throw Glenn beck from the bus. Divide and conguer. You need to download 09/23/09 second hr of scarbough’s show I am totally disgusted.
I am glad Glenn Beck is exposing the Marxist. Them leftist know how to fight dirty they have studied RULES FOR RADICAL getting people against people
Understood Sgt Tim, will keep that in mind for future posts. I’ve sent MLF an email. I don’t take any attacks etc… to heart (or do I? hehe).
When I have time I will try to amend all previous posts.
Don’t go back and amend the previous posts; it is water passed the bridge.
I think most conservatives’ blood boils when libs point to some marginal democrat and then point to a RINO, such a Chuck Haggle, on the Sunday talk shows and announce that we are all the same. I then ask that if they are all the same why not vote republican since you feel it makes no difference.
There is a true conservative party but it is the republican party that has within their ranks the conservative movement and it is the democrats that contain the socialists; but while republicans have veered to the left for a long time (lost elections for that reason) the democrats have become mainstream socialists. There is no argument within democrat ranks because that is who they have striven to be for as long as I can remember and only mimic the Republican Party to get elected. They misinterpreted the last election as a clear mandate so they have no problem boasting a radical socialist agenda without trepidation. It is republicans who suffer from an identity crisis because we look at democrat gains and attempt imitation when in reality much of those democrat gains resulted from them adopting conservative values in swing localities and states while republicans have moderated the conservative message in the same locations. Yes, we have a big tent but what we don’t have is a potpourri of conflicting principles and values. When dems win elections in the south they have acted like conservatives and, to a lesser extent, when republicans win in the north they act like democrats, but they eventually lose when the real democrat socialist comes along (D’Amato vs. Schumer).
The problem with the Beck analogy regarding Obama as a significant and important factor in stimulating a very large and visible conservative surge is that we stand to lose too much… if not everything. This is almost a double or nothing gamble. Health care is forever and is designed to ensure democrat majorities for future lifetimes. There is s difference when you rent your house to someone that does little to improve it and may in fact depreciate it for the time it is occupied. It is another issue altogether if you rent your house to a pyromaniac who burns it to ground and leaves nothing of value that you once had. Obama is not about American values or principles. That is Ok as long as he was not in a position to do something about them. Unfortunately that is not the case. He occupies the cat’s chair and has all the ambition of a dedicated zealot that will do the most that is possible with the army of dedicated socialists that stand behind him in the US congress. He is playing for keeps and plans not to allow another inning to determine the outcome of the game. Should he prevail all the conservative enthusiasm may manage to change the next congress but will be insufficient to destroy the bureaucracies and appointments that fester forever, all the while growing larger, costing more and more, becoming less efficient for their designated purposes and more efficient in stealing liberty. Some of us may not have known what Beck meant, many of us did, but most of all I suspect that Beck himself, in seeing the conservative surge, failed to realize that we were on the march anyway and that John McCain was not going to stand in our way, but most importantly we didn’t need a larger obstacle in our path to get to the place we are trying to reach. If talk radio is silenced and a TV program can no longer be aired then the difference between McCain and Obama will the difference between Liberty and a hard tyranny. To the extent that a President embraces dictators at the expense of our friends and allies don’t be surprised if the principles and values you wish to retain and achieve can never again be determined in a voting booth, not because we cannot vote, or because the vote is rigged but because some things will have been designed and erected so that they may never be changed again.
I caught Beck’s act with the fake frog in the boiling water last night, as he attempted to “respond” to pissed off conservatives about his Obama/Hillary/McCain diatribe with Couric. I found it to be utterly odd & unhinged.
The fact that Beck feels this need to carry on like some sort of psychotic green grocer, with pots & pans, Tinker Toys & gadgets, seems to indicate that he’s just not all that comfortable at simply EXPLAINING himself.
I don’t buy this crap about Obama stimulating a surge vs. McCain holding status quo. Not by a long shot. task is correct—-this “surge” was already in the works. Frankly, I happen to think it’s BECAUSE of the likes of Beck, Weiner /”Savage” & Paulistas that Obama was elected.
That’s because many of these types of so-called “Independents” either VOTED for him (whether they admit it or not) or had him elected by proxy (i.e. no vote or penciling in Bob Barr or some other third-party schmuck).
To these people I say this:
God FORBID that something happens to Thomas or Scalia (or both) in the next three years.
God FORBID the so-called “blue dogs” cave in & end up providing enough support to eventually push through a government-run healthcare bill.
And more than anything….God FORBID that this disingenuous narcicist in the White House mirrors the nauseating speech he made yesterday at the U.N. summit by initiating either a pull-out (or some disasterous “compromise”) in Afghanistan, just to show every tin-pot dictator in every rectal cavity of the earth how “far” we have come in the last 10 months since HE has come to power.
This is scary stuff. It really, truly is. More & more, I get the impression that guys like Beck seem to think it’s all a self-promoting game.
Well, it’s NOT a game. This stuff is for keeps—-with some really DANGEROUS consequences to boot!
And if any of the above comes to fruition….I’m NOT holding the far left accountable for it. We already KNOW where they stand.
No, I’m holding guys like Beck & the rest of the conspiratorial hacks responsible, for their politically-schitzophrenic “Throw-The-Baby-Out-With-The-Bath-Water” nonsense.
That stuff might be great for creating a short-term cult following……but unless they change their tune, it’ll get either killed or irreparably damaged for the long haul.
This is pathetic! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9nVpO1Dvfk
Take a fake frog, add fake tears and mix in phony conservatism and what you get is Glenn Beck.
LOL! Let’s get that put on a bumper sticker!
The thing that every talk show host emphasizes is that we need to change the political scene peacefully. I agree; we all agree and Beck is especially mindful that is the route to take. If you search your heart and soul which candidate creates the most fear that something terrible may happen to our freedom and the way we elect politicians? If civil unrest ever comes to America; even though I doubt that it will occur, which candidate would give you the most confidence that such an event has the least probability of occurrence? Given that is what you fear, and that is what Beck does fear, then how can he conclude that McCain could ever possibly be a worse choice when the other candidate represents, to him, the mother of all nightmares?
