Update: Here is the audio of Mark’s interview tonight of Debra Burlingame:

Today, in a Wall Street Journal op-ed entitled ‘Revenge of the ‘Shoe Bomber’: The terrorist sues to resume his jihad from prison. The Obama administration caves in,’ Debra Burlingame writes:

On June 17, at the Administrative Maximum (ADX) penitentiary in Florence, Colo., one of those albatrosses, inmate number 24079-038, began his day with a whole new range of possibilities. Eight days earlier [June 9, 2007 pdf file at link], the U.S. Attorney’s office in Denver filed notice in federal court that the Special Administrative Measures (SAMs) which applied to that prisoner — Richard C. Reid, a.k.a. the “Shoe Bomber” — were being allowed to expire. SAMs are security directives, renewable yearly, issued by the attorney general when “there is a substantial risk that a prisoner’s communications, correspondence or contacts with persons could result in death or serious bodily injury” to others.

Reid was arrested in 2001 for attempting to blow up American Airlines Flight 63 from Paris to Miami with 197 passengers and crew on board. Why had Attorney General Eric Holder decided not to renew his security measures, kept in place since 2002? … READ THE REST of Debra Burlingame’s op-ed

Debra Burlingame will be on the show tonight with Mark Levin.

Our web site, 911FamiliesForAmerica.org has supporting documents and links for Debra’s op-ed, as well as additional information about just how sneaky and reckless the Obama administration was while lifting the SAMs on Richard Reid.

  1. task says:

This is an inane and insane person addicted to the cult of a bi-polar religion that idolizes the philosophy of reparations for crimes that were not even committed by any of his intended victims. In fact there was every possibility that many that he attempted to make victims were not only non-Christian and non American but may have been Muslim, may have been anti-American, anti-Israeli and pro OBL; it did not matter. This carnage was calculated to be mass indiscriminate murder designed simply to rack up bodies of any ethnicity, religion, age and gender as long as the body count included more non-Muslims guilty of only being born in a world where people like him exist.

Within all of these jihad mentalities is the concept of reparations based upon race, religion, and gender and not upon inequities or grievances actually created by their victims. It affirms discrimination and bigotry and is tangential to the more subdued beliefs of Barack Obama, judge Sotomeyor, William Ayers, Bernadine Dorn, Rashid Kalidi, Odinga, and our own home grown McVeigh that categories people only as groups where all individuals possess the same identity characteristics. It does not show compassion for the guilty (Christianity) but confers guilt on the innocent and anyone else in the vicinity. With a mind set such as this no one is safe from even the perception of the sins or history of their ancestors

When we perform surgery, to remove a malignancy, we first advance within healthy tissue and isolate all arteries and veins so that all entrances and exists are blocked. When the malignant tissue is excised we never allow an instrument that is suspect of touching neoplastic tissue to touch healthy tissue for the fear of even permitting one cell to escape… for that may be all that is required for the patient to succumb to the disease at some future date. Then we additional counter with radiation and drugs to suppress and destroy the possibility of any surviving cells that may have already metastasized prior to the surgery. These concepts are universal. This man and his philosophy represents a danger to whomever he is in contact with because he is an apostle who will do to others what was done to him. In this day and age of WMD’s the stakes are too high to take any chances. He deserves the same fate as Timothy McVeigh and ultimately the money spent on his incarceration should be spent on the best and the brightest and not the most evil and dangerous. This is not how you make a better and safer world for good people. No matter how good your intentions may be this is how you repeat the worst of history.

  2. Smitty says:

They should turn him loose into the general prison population, imprisoned felons are much more patriotic than liberal Americans, they will dispatch this enemy of America with panache and artistic flair.

  3. Darrell Mc Neill says:

Does the A. G. work for America, or for the D.N.C.? Sad day in America. I’m so mad that I would write something that would not sound nice. I’ll cool off later. Darrell
