Mark Levin opened the show this evening talking with Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC). Of course they want President Barack Obama’s health care “reform” bill to fail:

In case you missed what followed, you missed a lot. Mark went on to answer the question he posed at the end of the above audio and his critic at The Weekly Standard. You can hear it all by downloading tonight’s show at MarkLevinShow.com.

Jim DeMint seems like a great guy and am glad he stood up and challenged Obama and his health care reform boondoggle. Maybe we do need a reform of some kind but not what he is trying to ram through!

Even Karl Marx was not as radical as Saul Alinsky. Although many look at the factories and sweat shops of the industrial revolution as unfair keep in mind that the revolution did not create poverty; it inherited it and ultimately it was responsible for improving the lives of all mankind. Marx never expected that his philosophy would be the impetus that drove a revolution in an agrarian country and yet the disparity behind who owned the land and who controlled the banks ultimately begot a far worse tyranny.

Alinsky stood within the shores of the greatest free country on the face of the earth, yet as a malcontent, looking over the his shoulders at the track record of so many past Marist regimes he did not blink in pursuing a failed philosophy. He was never about compassion for the poor as he was about his hate for the successful.

Barack Obama is far closer to the philosophy of Alinsky than the apostle Paul was to the teachings of Jesus Christ. It is all right there on the surface for inspection by any open and fair-minded person. His past is not shrouded in secrecy; the anti-establishment anti-Bush/Cheney media just never reported it.

Saul Alinsky wanted the America that we know and love, not just to change, but to fail. Barack Obama wants the America that we know and love, not just to change, but to fail. To the extent that Obama wants our values, our moral codes, our common law heritage, our institutions and our powerful and world renowned philosophy that gives preference to individuals over groups to fail, to the extent that he defies our Constitution which embodies freedom and liberty, anyone who loves America would want Barack Obama to fail. If you want Obama to succeed then you want tyranny to succeed and for liberty to fail so, with that in mind, how can you possibly explain your love for and of America and simultaneously want Obama to succeed? Socialism and freedom cannot breath the same air or share the same footing.

What gets me even more is how Barack Obama and his cadre of socialist congressional allies attempt to disguise themselves from the concepts and philosophies that denote who they really are. In the words of Al Smith in his 1936 radio address: “It is all right with me if they want to disguise themselves as Norman Thomas or Karl Marx, or Lenin, or any of the rest of that bunch, but what I won’t stand for is to let them march under the banner of Jefferson, Jackson, or Cleveland.” ML has no problem, stating who these people really are… he must, he has to because he loves the America that Barack Obama does not. And so do I and a lot of the rest of us.

DeMint was truly inspiring on the Levin show. Day by day, this man is proving to have a much stronger spine of steel and stronger resolve to challenge BHO’s socialist road to ruin. DeMint is more outspoken and less willing to cave in on his conservative principles than RNC’s Michael Steele has ever been. Obama’s backhanding of DeMint in his press conference indicates that DeMint is getting under his skin. Mark my words, the marginalization of DeMint by Emanuel and company will soon commence.

Obama is a statist and as such he is a classical fascist. There are thousand of books on fascism and I suggest many start with a classic… “The Road to Serfdom” written in 1944. That is after reading ML’s book. Everyone knows and respects Hyack. That book was destined on first printing to sell 3-4 thousand copies. It sold over 300,000. Considering that our population was half what it is now that was quite a feat. I have studied this stuff for a long time and for me the connection between European socialism and progressivism, American liberalism (statism), is as irrefutable as sunlight and photosynthesis. Most political liberals are so indoctrinated and close minded (because their body politic is statism) that they cannot experience introspective analysis without an identity crisis that would so shake their world that they would be forced to deconstruct decades of failed logic. Not a healthy choice so it is probably in their best interests to stick with the cool-aid.

As much of life is economics fascism and control of business is essential to achieve its goals and that’s why fascism needs to develop a symbiotic/parasitic relationship with business that drives both the political and the economic in the same direction. All fascist governments are different and I can point out the difference between German, Italian, Russian, Chinese, American and generic fascism. In this country fascism is more tuned to benevolence and if it were not once ascribed to Hitler the concept would have a much more favorable connotation. Indeed Franco and El Duce were vigorous defenders of persecuted Jews and yet they were fascists extraordinaire. The point is that fascism has good-natured intentions but often allows for the creation of very evil power brokers. That is why liberty and freedom stand in its way. Ultimately it gives rise to totalitarianism. And that is why Obama must fail.
