Obama has been very good to Mark Levin? (another reviewer who did not read ‘Liberty and Tyranny’)

Speaking on behalf of MarkLevinFan dot com, I have three bits of news for Eamon Javers at Politico.com: kooks who post kooky comments on this site get called out (and often banned along with leftist trolls), ‘Liberty and Tyranny‘ was mostly written before Election Day last year, and the latter is only about Obama to the extent the President fits what Mark Levin wrote about statists. I mention this because he interviewed Mark Levin, allegedly to ask Mark about his book, and then failed to mention anything about what was within the book. Mark spoke about what Javers chose instead to write about.

Mr. Javers searched high and low in the forum and found some “juicy” comments with which to demean Mark and all his fans.

This is a fan site. If you register to comment here, we expect you to be a fan of its namesake and behave in a socially acceptable manner; Javers would obviously fail on both counts.

Update: (Hat tip to Mark Levin fan Anna)

Michael Fumento writes on a variety of topics and has done some great reporting during and subsequent to embedding in Iraq and Afghanistan (see here, here, and here). The caption for the photo below was written by him on January 19, 2006:

“Eamon Javers (left) at the famous Bretton Woods golf course, in an event sponsored by Patton Boggs, Trammell Crow Company, Hisaoka Public Relations, and others. Should he have been playing with companies whose clients he could well be writing about? Were it anyone else, Javers would declare this a clear conflict of interest.”

Apparently, Javers has a nasty streak in him when it comes to writing about conservatives. Take a look.

IMHO, the dirt that Anna easily dug up on Javers is far more credible than some kooky comments in a forum.

Update II, July 8, 2009:

Eamon Javers’ “news analysis” was another hit job, this time on Mark Levin.

The huge sale numbers of Liberty and Tyranny, Javers implies, is only because it is about Obama (it is about conservatism and statism, not about Obama), and would not have done well on its own merits. The “proof” Javers offers is three comments in the MLF dot com forum purporting to show how Mark has stirred his minions to radicalism and armed revolt (which Mark opposes). What Javers really proved is he did not read Liberty and Tyranny (or did and deliberately avoided citing its contents) and has seldom if ever listened to Mark’s show. Javers sought to demean Mark’s on-air and written works and belittle his fans.

Javers’ lumping Liberty and Tyranny in with the books of others was to toss it aside with the rest of the “trash.”

That is also what he did to conservative journalist Michael Fumento. At the time, Javers was working for Business Week and soon after that news organization had forced Doug Bandow to resign “after acknowledging to Business Week that he’d written pieces for pay for notorious lobbyist Jack Abramoff. Bandow was long a critic of environmental activists…” Here’s the thing, Fumento was also a well-known critic of them and another victim of a Javers hit job.

Together, it is a tell, the tip off of Javers’ liberal leanings. I am not a student of his writings yet it is no coincidence that Javers went after Mike Fumento and Mark Levin who both strongly support conservative issues such as continuing to fight the War on Terror (as a war) and oppose the environmental Marxists.

Liberals are afraid of the real movement Mark Levin and other intelligent conservatives are sparking, the political one that threatens to wash away the socialist movement by reminding Americans of their charter, that we are a nation born of liberty.

I have just finished the book. It is different than any political book! it’s a remarkable book! I loved it and I see things so clearly. I was constantly catching contradictions in the mainstream media I knew I was being lied to, so when Obama and the media was talking about this guy Rush Limbaugh I had to find out what the hub-bub was about. Thank God I did!!! Rush was talking about this book and I went that day and bought it! I feel I found my way out of this dark cave and found the light!!! Mark Levin is a Godsend If you haven’t got it you better!

Javers is a typical Lib. His comments and analysis are as shallow as the gene pool from which he arose.

First of all the investigation Anna made should have been pre interview. Of course she never knew about the incident but in general try and discover the pedigree of these people before you give them the opportunity to “not say” what you “said” because that is often the very purpose of the interviewer. In my own field I have been interviewed and the edited copy was so different from what I intended to convey that it would have been unrecognizable by my own mother. For all intents and purposes this could have been an interview of Obama and Javers could have said that ML had been good to him, but of course he would never take the approach and would simply list Levin as one of the many conservatives that profited off of a reputation that characterized a man better than Nostradamus could have.

Everyone who listens to the show knows that this book was supposed to be written before “Rescuing Sprite” yet even though it was delayed it was still very complete before the Obama election and was well on the way to printing before this current Administration took office. In fact many on this site, including myself, thought that Obama would not be President. That also goes for Limbaugh, ML’s friend. ML asked his audience early on, before Obama was even a candidate, before the primaries, if they would enjoy the writing of a book on conservatism. Conservatives like conservative books written by qualified conservatives.

Javers should especially praise the book because it so startlingly portrayed the character of this current Administration, even without the foreknowledge of the election results. And that is simply because Omaba is a generic, plain vanilla, straight up statist that takes his operational agenda from the previous 2000 years of similar persona and who, himself, deviates very little, if it at all, from many, many, historical predecessors.

Finding some outlandish comments on the forum is akin to finding some bluefish within a pod of sardines. Moreover his conclusion that a few people might wish to take up arms in a fashion comparable to our founding revolution is ridiculous. If such an event should ever occur the left, not conservatives, in this country would ignite it in a fashion similar to enviro movements and court decisions deemed unfavorable to their interests. A collapsing economy is more likely to ignite those that were promised what will never be delivered and such a scenario is likely to simply cause those who warned “I told you so “, to have to protect themselves. That is the “bunker mentality” of people such as Glen Beck; that is all there is to it and therefore, as such, deserves no further mischaracterization.

It was no accident that this current Administration is accurately characterized by “Liberty and Tyranny” because this is a book about conservatism and the Obama Administration represents a fascist ideology that even Newsweek described as such. What is an accident is that so many people were fooled into thinking that Obama would govern center left. If they still believe that maybe they should listen to the left leaning columnist Helen Thomas, who recently conveyed to the world her buyer’s remorse. Moreover the left continually misrepresents the facts and then defends the indefensible by shifting blame or denying culpability and this supposed “fair and balanced” interview is once again just another example of what we can expect from those who can’t tell the difference (don’t wish to) between a fact filled book and the current sorry state of America. One lie and faith will be believed by millions of people who then become immunized against a thousand rational facts, just because they are told to dislike the person who states them.

Javers is as likely to be convinced by ML as Iran and North Korea and other international tyrannical regimes are to be convinced by Obama despite the fact that he appears to love them. Obviously I can’t say the same for Javers, regarding ML, and that is why the interview conclusions are exactly what I would have expected.

I agree, Hammer…Javers is a typical “slash, smash, trash, then dash for the cash” lib. *Yawn*…is he any better than a typical, call-in drone? Methinks not.

Is it too much to ask for someone in the MSM to do a real review of ‘Liberty & Tyranny’? I suspect they have all read it, hence the universal non-response. Are there no brave souls amongst their ranks who can string a few words and sentences together and parley? Or, is the selective mutism part of a much larger movement, as I am beginning to suspect? It takes a mighty hand to quiet the hawkers of media…a mighty, mighty hand.

The POTUS may be the reason behind those other authors sales – much like those authors who hawked anti-Bush tomes over the last eight years, but Mark Levin’s book is set apart – both in content and sheer volume of sales.

Maybe the left has a hard time comprehending large numbers…which would, now that I think about it, explain a lot.

You really want to know how bad it is? Understand that it is much too much to ask slobbering idolaters to do a real review of “Liberty & Tyranny”. Most, like ostriches, ignore it because they fear it, do want to bring it any additional attention and most of all do not want to bring attention to themselves because this book attacks them with logic and facts and their chief defense of an Obamanation and obamnomics is emotion, lies, spin and omissions because after all, they do recognize what a statist is and that the bell tolls for them. Make no mistake about the fact that they despise ML the way we despise them. Strangely the only fools that publicly really go after Mark seem to be from the Republican Party and pseudo conservatives. And for this we owe ML a debt of gratitude for drawing them out.

You want to know how this book would have received outstanding MSM coverage? Everyone would review it if it did not sell well. Fortunately that is not the case.
