Disturbingly truthful…the death of liberty and freedom.
I read that Goya actually painted his version on the wall in his dining room, and it was given it’s title after he left – that is, he (himself) didn’t title it. Whereas Goya’s supposed Saturn ate his child in horror, it is not too much of a reach to suggest that ‘Saturn’ may just be horrific change eating an innocent person.
Obama appears to be taking delight in dismantling our great nation while his sychophants blindly believe all he spins their way. I couldn’t understand the horror you put on his face…until now. It’s the horror of being discovered, not of what he is actually doing.
Thanks for the comment, Anna.
Yes, I thought a parody of this particular masterpiece might perfectly capture the terrible reality of what Obama and his ilk are doing to our beloved Country – eating it alive, bite by awful bite.
Looks to me like he took on more than he can chew, is in fact choking… hence finds what he is doing more unpalatable than he imagined. Maybe that was a subliminal message, unknown even to the artist; sometimes I believe that Mr. Dean is influenced by more than just his own talent.
Thanks to public education people don’t know the difference between Karl Marx and Eli Whitney, but there are enough of us that enjoyed freedom and liberty for a long time and are going to fight as hard as we can before we allow them to be taken away. We are not yet Europeans.
Thanks for weighing in, Task, mi amigo.
Hey, wait a minute, are you implying I’m influenced by the Spiritual – or spirits??? Well, I must confess – both, from time to time, LOL!
BTW, I didn’t want to muddle the stark message of this particular cartoon with my usual “Over-the-top-on-purpose” fanfare, but it is indeed item #5 in my Conservative Capitalist Pushback Series, and FOR SALE in t-shirt and other forms on my CafePress store.
