‘Morning Joe’ Scarborough backstabbing has officially backfired

Brian Maloney at Radio Equalizer writes today:

In recent years, Joe Scarborough has found that turning against fellow Republicans could be good for the pocketbook, securing him the morning gig at MSNBC and a syndicated talk show airing on WABC / New York and elsewhere.

But in new data released late this week, Scarborough has struck out in every category: TV, radio and publishing. His widely-touted The Last Best Hope: Restoring Conservatism and America’s Promise has bombed, selling just 6432 copies since its 9 June release, according to new Bookscan figures. At Amazon, it has already dropped out of the top 100, currently ranked 166.

By contrast, conservative author Mark Levin remained in first place after three full months [Liberty and Tyranny], according to Bookscan, selling another 35,595 units to push closer to a possible one million sales mark in the weeks and months to come.

Does he really have 6432 liberal friends or did he buy most of them himself to be used as gifts for family and friends?

ROFL…Schmoe’s publisher has brought us so many other great literary works – Dreams…and Audacity…

Schmoe is in where he belongs.

  4. There is an MSNBC link on Joes website that shows Joe agreeing that Obama has captured Reagan’s temperment in office. He compares a Chicago thug who threatens away the property rights of bond holders to Ronald Reagan.
I do not wish him luck.

WABC Radio is throwing away good money and wasting a morning slot on this putz. If they want a conservative and liberal team doing radio, bring back Curtis and Kuby.

The Morning Shmoe, how shall I phrase this… SUCKS! Mika only has one, wait a minute… actually, two things going for her. And those things that I’m thinking of don’t work on radio, if you know what I mean.

I’m with you Pete, WABC bring back Curtis and Kuby!
