“Now the secularists lecture the Israelis to stand down, to accept the inevitability of their demise and to do so with smiles on their faces. It’s a Jewish problem again, not a Palestian problem, not an Islamo-Nazi problem. No. It’s the Jews and it’s the Christians and it’s the Hindus and it’s the moderate Muslims. We just don’t all get it, do we? The Israelis in particular, if they would only perish by suicide — that is by unilateral decisions — the world would be a safer place. Well I say ask the families of those who were slaughtered on 9/11 … on the British subways … on the Spanish trains … in the hotels in India … if that is true.”
Mark Levin said that this evening on his show, while speaking of those who say Israel’s response to Hamas’ reign of terror was disproportionate.
Since being voted into power in Gaza, Hamas dramatically increased its indiscriminant rocket and mortar attacks upon Israelis. More than 3,000 of those reigned down on them during 2008 alone, before the cease-fire was allowed to expire:

I do not speak for all 9/11 family members yet I can speak for myself and my family. It is not true; the world will not be safer if Israel stands down.
But it is not necessary to have lost someone to terrorism to know that the Islamo-Nazis will keep coming until we are all dead or under their heel.

That was an absolutely brilliant and well-delivered rant and the charts speak for themselves.
What the Israeli’s are looking for is their own peace and they are not going to get that, no matter what they do to Hamas. The Israeli’s are right next door to a genocidal mentality and Europe and we are separated by thousands of miles and all of us have changed our societies based upon Islamic terrorists.
This conflict will never stop in our lifetimes because it is generational. They already educated too many youths and continue to do so. The Palestinians voted in this criminal leadership although, in some respects we did the same with Reed, Peolsi, possibly the spiteful Troll (aren’t all trolls spiteful?) the lib republicans and so many others and our lives are not threatened before we vote. The best the Israeli’s can do is to get rid of as much of Hamas as they can and never stop the war until another government, is substituted. That is what you can demand when you win. Of course they should insist on a completely disarmed Palestine, with inspections, but who is going to do it?
Where is the UN in regards to inspections to eliminate Katyusha missiles because when loaded with nails and ball bearings they are WMD’s? We went into Iraq for many reasons, chief of which was to eliminate WMD’s, yet the Israelis are the recipients of countless WMD attacks on an almost daily basis. The World worries about Palestinian children yet the Palestinians have used them as suicide bombers and allows Hamas to use them as shields.
There is every basis for Israel to do what she is doing and there is no basis for theses international peace groups, including the UN, to ignore the threat that requires Israel to act. We all love and worry about innocent civilians, especially children, but such concern cannot be the basis to end the current conflict. Was it not Golda Meir who stated “When peace comes we will perhaps, in time, be able to forgive the Arabs for killing our sons, but it will be harder for us to forgive them for having forced us to kill their sonsâ€Â? She also said: “If we have to have a choice between being dead and pitied, and being alive with a bad image, we’d rather be alive and have the bad image,†and then said. “To be or not to be is not a question of compromise. Either you be or you don’t be.â€Â
Israel can never afford to lose any war. There will be no redo’s and yet there is a battle that preludes the battle of all battles that will certainly come as long as we, and the World, standby and allow Iran to obtain the mother of all Weapons of Mass Destruction. This is not a permissible event because they want Israel destroyed and, instead of disguising that hope, they ostentatiously exclaim it.
“There are no accidents in my philosophy. Every effect must have its cause. The past is the cause of the present, and the present will be the cause of the future. All these are links in the endless chain stretching from the finite to the infinite.†–Abraham Lincoln.
Life really is not so difficult except that we make it so by our choices. Israel is doing the right thing and the rest of the World is not.
The more I look at this the more I see it inevitable that we get involved. The Iraq war was absolutely necessary, because we need stabilizing countries in that part of the world; now the handwriting is on the wall. There are not enough Israelis and the Arab population appears to be born pregnant. Iran has to be taken down and those countries bordering Israel, that support terror, must face a threat from Iran and Iraq and not support from Iran. Additionally, now is the time to implement every source of domestic energy that we can. We need to use it for our own economy, as well as to create jobs, and we need to export it to peaceful countries and thereby help disassemble those countries that support terror, the destruction of Israel and eventually all freedom loving people. Only a vast military maneuver, or the very believable and certain threat of one, can accomplish this and unfortunately we have the very worst possible philosophy coming into power in the only country that can make that happen. By the time they get through with our military, and our economy, we won’t have the wherewithal to pay off our foreign creditors and the Chinese will move in as recompense.
The election of Obama and the democrats is a monumental catastrophe and the big problem I have with secular Jews is that they vote to help contribute to the struggle of Israel, if not possibly to her demise and what I perceive as tremendous hardships for the entire World.
