Jack the financial genius

Thursday, Mark spoke with a Lib who claimed to work as a financial planner of some sort.

Let’s see a show of hands. How many of you would take financial advice from Jack?

In answer to your question, other than a couple bucks on Powerball lottery a couple times a week, no. I prefer my financial advisors awake, detoxed, and who didn’t pay someone to do their papers during college.

How do we know that Obama is any better than Jack? Jack obviously doesn’t know “jack” about the economy but Obama wants to grow the economy from the “bottom” up. How exactly is that done? “Bottom” means the poorest in the nation, the people that pay no taxes! Obama’s plan is to give the poorest in the U.S. $1,000-$1,500 each to “stimulate” and grow the economy. The term “bottom up” is an Obama campaign phrase designed to emphasize class-warfare and counter the “top down” economic model vilified by democrats with the term “trickle-down economics”. The “bottom up” economic model of capitalism is non-existent. When was the last time that 5,000 poverty-level people upon receiving their economic stimulus check, got together, formed a corporation and created new jobs with their pool of $5,000,000 venture capital? It is more likely that the only thing stimulated by the checks will be the local 7-11 store’s beer, wine, and cigarette sales. Yet, not a single reporter or economic expert has ever challenged this “bottom up” economic model of Obama’s. Every day, the DOW and NASDAQ drops another 2-5% based on the unknown quantity of what Obama will do, what his policies will be, who his Treasury Secretary will be and all we hear are Hillary’s leaks about being offered the Secretary of State. The ONLY clue we have from Obama is that “95% will not see their taxes raised” and “we need to rebuild this economy from the bottom up”. So who is the bigger financial genius, Jack or Barack?

Let’s make this very clear. This financial debacle was never about deregulation, the free market or the Bush Administration; this was about government social policy designed to expand the housing market by suspending fiscal sanity and hosing the rest of us. So it goes from banks, upon the mandate of the CRA and government, then into these Fannie and Freddie monsters, that operate off of a leash, then into AIG and other insurance companies, and into Wall Street investment houses and the rest of the World. Then we have a recession, based primarily on fuel costs, but the underlying major problem is that the enormous housing market was disproportionately inflated by the government pushing the policies of the CRA, Fannie and Freddie, Clinton, Cuomo, ACORN, and congressional democrats that blew up the bubble so hard and fast that it could only bust. And when the housing market finally did burst the banks that were involved burst, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac burst, AIG and other insurance companies and their insurance derivatives burst and Wall Street burst. This is the policy of FDR, of the New Deal, of the Central Planners and of anything but capitalism and a free market.

The terrible part of this is that morons like this caller are in the majority. Poor people do not create jobs and risk capital for a profit. An economy is lit up by producers, employing people and cannot be sustained by consumers without jobs using a finite amount of non-replaceable money to spend.

What Washington is doing is way beyond the Commerce Clause. It bypasses the 10th Amendment. It mocks the Constitution. These elected officials act like hundreds of little Caesars that represent Imperial Rome. They are supposed to be our guardians, not our taskmasters. They run roughshod over the states the way the Soviets did to their satellite nations and now they are picking and choosing the winners by seeking out the losers; sustaining their bad habits and punishing the successful, using money that they never created but instead stole from those that are forced to pay confiscatory taxes; and they do this with a justification that would have embarrassed Robin Hood. In this Country, by the time they get though, we will be the Divided States, containing a divided people, where anyone that pays taxes will be classified as rich and everyone else as needy.

The liberals fix the game by controlling the education system, the bulk of the media, the congress, the courts and the regulatory agencies and their power will be expanded under the growth of new agencies created by Barackracy. That is why we get jerk reporters who compare Obama to Lincoln. She may be more right than she knows but not in a way she could imagine. Under Lincoln there was a civil war, where a fraction of today’s population lost six hundred thousand. One thing is for certain. The liberals are not going away and neither are we. The poor cannot, nor will not, be made to pay and the wealthy will move assets elsewhere and that leaves the middle class and I can assure you that, before they tolerate a Great Depression, this Country will be turned into an omelet.

When I see the amalgam of Clinton flunkies patched together to create a super structure of vast incompetence, and then I look at the Congress and finally take in the full scope and meaning of the fact that an empty suite was elected as President, who, at best, is nothing more than a romantic communist, inspired by malcontents, that saw America and the capitalistic spirit of a free people, as the problem, I know we are in very serious trouble. And the sadist thing is that it will not be the Constitution that gets us out of this because it has been locked away where it cannot harm them and save us.

The ships off the Somalis coast, hijacked by pirates, are not the only hijackings. America has also been hijacked, not by pirates, but by hard left, anti-constitutional socialists and Marxists. This time it will be up to the 58 million, who still remember the free Constitutional Republic as envisioned by the Declaration of Independence and who voted the right way, to mutiny for the sake of freedom and the legacy of liberty we hope to leave for our children. And it will not be an easy task, nor one that is won by the feint of heart and that leaves out the moderates.
