Damned straight! I’m there! The Great One will give me something to look forward to after a week of BS.
What a great interview. Bravo Great One. No wonder why Hannity wants you on TV more often. I only hope that your voice of reason will be heard on TV as well as radio. El Rushbo might be number one in ratings, but you are number one on my list.
It was nice looking forward to the event and even nicer looking back at how well it went. Of course they always try to pigeon hole conservatives and paint them with a broad brush. This is the philosophy of misguided, broken and failed altruism in the pursuit of equality at the expense of liberty. ML may not always be nice to every caller but he is always right and that is a tremendous and germane distinction. If what he says is not choreographed in PC jargon then they attack the messenger and that was what the O&A was really about; they would have liked to have succeeded but for the fact that Levin’s answers precluded any lateral moves. He defended what he said, how he said it and why his message is the right one. Liberalism never moves far from scripted talking points less they get into serious trouble. Do C-SPAN regular listeners ever hear anything over and above the PC verbal repertory they love to condemn others for not using? I doubt it.
When it is our turn sometimes we get to say it the way they do and be right at the same time. If C-SPAN were smart they would address some conservative viewers, watch their ratings improve, despite the fact that they would then become skewered by their own generic viewer-ship. If they could stand the growing pains they could become an 800 lb. gorilla with a presence of distinction. Mark Levin is not the enemy. He reflects and exemplifies how it needs to be done and his success is what they really need to think about.
ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW!!!!!!, BRAVO,KUDOS ,WHAT A GREAT AMERICAN,REGARDS,…DAVE
Lamb’s interview style was reasonable, yet he fell into the liberal line of thinking when he asked how could a passionate man like Mark Levin write a book about his great love for a dog. Who is the real Mark Levin?
Hopefully Mark’s answer helped to hammer home once again that real compassion is totally inseperable from the conservative message.
Darn, was focused on the baseball game, and missed the Great one! If anyone knows whether it will be replayed, please post it? Brian Lamb is without a doubt a good interviewer. Did anyone get a heads up on this? Since Mark had a sub on Friday, I was clueless on the Great one’s interview. At least I can sit back and listen to him give Powell (as in general) his well deserved roast; If you read the Commanders, by Woodward, it’s clear that Powell’s due as the “hero” of Gulf I, was way overblown, it was believe it or not, Cheney who re-did the successful battle plan, that was used, that Schwarzkopf, blew…and Cheney didn’t say a word….to embarass General Powell….that’s class…not Powell who comes out at the last minute, and puts the shiv in McCain…but, McCain will win this election. Because, no one who thinks, wants Obama…..
Always a pleasure to see Mark in a video forum where his complete honesty can be heard (and seen) by one and all. The C-Span interview provided no minced words, no indecisiveness, just vintage Mark Levin. We even got to revisit some memorable radio show moments. I am still chuckling over the “Kubaya” montage. Congrats to our friend Scott whose website here had an honorable mention on the program. Happy to hear your good work was recognized.
This was a GREAT interview!!! But then again the GREAT ONE can only give that kind of interview!
And YES!! I vote to see you in your OWN TV show! We fans can never get enough of you Mark! Just for the record, if I had to make a choice of only one to listen to (of you, Sean or Rush), I would choose you, Mark! You bring the perfect balance of knowledge, enthusiasm and attack dog…
I just watched this on the C-SPAN Vidcast. Absolutely superb!
Clearly a lot of leftards will be shocked that Mark “dared” to shut-down an immigrant who called President Bush a terrorist.
Great interview!
What you see is what you get with Mark Levin. While I’m sure the breaks went his way, he became a leading voice in the conservative movement by being just a regular guy, although blessed with a brilliant mind, who effectively used learned skills, and had the guts to try when others might not have for fear of failure.
On a side note, I chuckled a bit at the occasional sheepish look on Mark’s face when C-SPAN played a couple of pieces of audio. I think he even surprises himself with some of the things he says and hearing the replays had to stiffle a laugh or two.
For the record let me say that I had a few friends from Florida, who bumped into C-SPAN and told me what a great interview they watched and wanted to know if this was the Mark Levin that I have spoken to them about.
