Two of our good friends on this blog reached Mark on the phone, tonight. First was Sgt. Tim, who pointed out that Plugs Biden, the Dumbest Man in the Senate, seemed to avoid the draft during the Vietnam war under suspicious circumstances. Is that a surprise to anyone?
Next, our Moose-loving friend from Alaska called to thank Mark’s parents for giving us such a great American to listen to every night!

Both excellent calls and I was shocked that the big athlete had gotten five deferments for asthma. Quite a contrast compared to Mike Monsieur who fought asthma to enlist, fight and die for the rest of us.
But then again he does take Amtrak every day.
