by Mark R. LevinI think Biden is a great pick … for the McCain campaign. Biden has run for president a few times and has never caught on in his own party. He dropped out after Iowa this time around. And when we speak of foreign policy experience, in Biden’s case we are really speaking of his serving many years on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee with precious little useful to show for it. Biden’s greatest role was on the Senate Judiciary Committee, where he trashed originalist nominees and promoted extreme activists. McCain & Company should hammer this. Biden has spent 30-years radicalizing the judiciary.

Why on earth would Obama, the Democratic Party “Messiah for Change” of the greatest nation in the world, be teaming up with one of their oldest statesmen in an attempt to capture the Oval Office?
A:
Simple math. Sen. Obama reads the poles, and never let it be said that we won’t be a force that changes. He can see that his lack of experience, any foreign policy chops, and reversals of platform have him in a pickle. Enter Sen. Biden. He is truly one of the old guard, big government, partisan Washington democrats.
So, let’s look at some of Joe’s crowning achievements.
Semiautomatic Assault Weapons Ban:
Even post D.C. vs. Heller, where the Supreme Court held that the individual has the right to Keep and Bear Arms, Joe Biden is out so limit and repeal our constitutional 2nd Amendment rights. He has recently introduced new legislation to bring back the Weapons Ban with even more restrictions that the 1994 version.
The Elimination of Pell Grants for Inmates:
Educational rehabilitation of inmates is fine as long as they have the money for it.
Violence Against Women Act:
The Supreme Court held that part of the VAWA is unconstitutional in United States v. Morrison on federalism grounds. This is just another example of his big government approach in trying to take powers that are constitutionally guaranteed to the States.
Robert Bork Supreme Court Confirmation:
Sen. Biden presided over the failed confirmation of Hon. Robert Bork. In the end, President Regan’s Nomination of Bork was shot down due to his political views not his legal judgment This practice is now called being “Borked”.
Bosnia-Herzegovina:
Sen. Biden argued for training and arming Bosnian Muslims to fight the Bosnian Serbs. I was one of the first IFOR (NATO) Soldiers in Bosnia and can tell you from experience. This would have turned Bosnia from a horrible genocide into a holocaust.
Just a foot note, I was on Sinbad’s protection detail in Tuzla, Bosnia with all of the First Lady Clinton “Sniper Fire”.
On the Campaign trail and at Syracuse Law School Joe Biden plagiarized speeches and papers. He lied about his educational standings and scholarships. Joe has also drawn outrage from minority communities for disparaging remarks about Indian-Americans and in reference to a prominent African-American, Barack Obama.
In 2004 Biden urged John Kerry to offer VP to John McCain because it would heal the “vicious rift†dividing the country!

I was thinking that in the present bass-ackwards logic of the RNC, they would nominate Lincoln Chafee as McLame’s Veep. It certainly would allow for a contrast that would favor McLame.

Most often, if they talk long enough, even the most skilled and well practiced fabricator will expose themselves for the liar they are. And of course ol’ Joe “Plugs” Biden is no exception. Now, you’d think a pathological liar who’s been at it as long as Biden, somewhere along the line, would have had at least the minimal intelligence to realise he could only benefit from keeping his big mouth shut most of the time.
It’s obvious to those of us familiar with the Delaware prevaricator, unlike the novice freshman Senator who thought it a wise strategy to select him as a running mate, that Biden, like so many in his party, is completely willing to falsify information, regardless of how doing such may damage and harm others including his own countrymen, so long as he feels the result will be the advantageous to himself, or his political party.
Perhaps, in making so self-sabotaging of a move as selecting a VP as Biden, Obama knowing the average democrat voter couldn’t care less about a politician with a credibility problem, even a serious one, and in selecting Biden his real intention is to appear to be throwing the election to McCain, and in doing such cause McCain to become over confident and no longer seeing a need pretend to be conservative for the sake of getting elected, switch into a more comfortable ‘maverick’ over-drive gear, and relieved to be able to just be himself again, return to flaunting his utter contempt for his party’s base, thusly assuring self-destruction, defeat, and a certain win for Obama.
Sound a little far-fetched? Well, it probably is, especially when considering the junior high school style tactics democrats use to get wins, falsification, name-calling, race-baiting, ballot box stuffing, voter fraud, etc., etc.
So having examined the facts, all I can say is: Smooth move Obamalax!
