When Pelosi turned out the lights for the summer recess she pretty much stated that she cares, not a bit, for the misery that Americans are experiencing because of pernicious energy cost increases that has affected every sector of their lives. As the leader of the “Good for nothing Congress’, who herself could personally afford to buy anything she wants, including the Mona Lisa, her actions are based on a most inane and incredulous comment that “she is out to save the planetâ€Â; translated that means “let them eat cakeâ€Â. As Speaker of the Peoples’ House she is now supposed to represent all Americans and not just the epicenter of the most bizarre region of American liberaldom that is her own district.
Since I, personally, have never ever missed a scheduled day’s work, unless hospitalized for emergency reasons, and have often had to work at unplanned non-scheduled times, I would expect that this Congress get their act together and deal with this compelling emergency problem instead of going off on a vacation that many Americans can no longer themselves afford. For four decades they have gradually taken every domestic energy option off the table while not offering, or permitting, any other alternative substitutive energy solutions that will work. As a result America can only become weaker since energy availability is at the root of all human endeavor.
Since Obama wants to even the playing field, with our World competitors, it should be noted that he is the candidate of the party that is clearly doing the best they can to achieve this result, by obfuscating America’s struggle to procure energy, while developing countries are hamstrung not a bit.
If I were Mr. Bush I would order, and not suggest, that this Congress immediately return and stay in session until they legislate, or remove legislation, that solves this energy debacle that they, in large measure, helped create.
The fact that Pelosi doesn’t care about the common folk is not the main reason why she turned out the lights and shut down CSPAN like a Venezuelan dictator. She is following a systematic plan to starve America of energy, create misery and discontent in the middle class, and weaken the economy. Why? Because this is the recipe for democrats to win big in November (for the short-term) and to bring about “change” for the long-term. This “change” is “pay-back” for the 2000 and 2004 elections. This “change” is making sure Conservative Republicans never win again. And finally, this “change” is a takeover of the United States Government by communist disciples of Saul Alinsky which include Pelosi and Clinton. The left-wing democrat leadership does not want to ease the pain at the pump. They want it. Blame the oil companies, blame Bush, say that millions of acres of land have already been opened up to the oil companies without the oil companies taking action. The American public won’t get wise to what we’re doing. They’re stupid. If we get close to being exposed, no problem. Just say we are open to drilling in the gulf as long as it’s done the “right” way, then we’ll do nothing. What counts is the public perception that “democrats care” about the “little” people. Nobody will notice that we don’t do anything. In fact, we actually do everything we can to disrupt energy growth! And thanks to our Media friends that share our socialist agenda, we never get exposed except for those Right-Wing Radio talk shows that we’ll take care of very soon!

I mentioned what Pelosi did not care about. You told us what she does care about and consequently why she did what she did and I could not agree more. This is a power hungry fascist in the true literal sense. In fact she and her entire tribe of loyalists are about maintaining and increasing their lead and I ordinarily can’t blame them except that you do not do that at the expense of the Country. You win on issues and not on tyrannical procedure. What I find so disturbing is that the combined IQ of the entire bunch is less than room temperature. In fact I cannot remember such a deficiency of intelligence when it comes to basic issues of economics and defense and of course the Constitution and the very concepts of freedom and liberty that represent the cornerstone of our political philosophy. In a strange way that is a good thing because there are many more sophisticated ways of accomplishing their nefarious goals that are less obvious. They are fascists, socialists, and outright communists and in many respects I’m seeing a hybridizing of many collectivist ideologies.
History has shown that the most dangerous of these types are not those that you would expect to have the largest gripe or stake in the issues. They are often pampered and better off than most of us. Even the Saudi fanatics that were responsible for 911 were hardly from a background that you would expect to recruit cold-blooded murderous suicide fanatics. All these people are studied ideologues and that is why they are so dangerous. The only difference between Pelosi and Obama is that he is running for President. And in her case, with that wishful fulfillment in mind, the ends justify the means.

Yesterday, John McCain actually called for Obama to call for Congress to get back in session to solve the energy crisis. Last time I checked, only the President could do that. And the President right now is George Bush, not Obama. I guess this is just McCain trying to distance himself from the hated “Bush”. Never has a better man ever been so derided, ridiculed, and made fun of as George Bush has. The leftist democrats followed the Saul Alinsky Rules for Radicals to the letter with their continual ridicule of the President. Being a forgiving person, President Bush has let the name calling and unfounded criticism slide and in the process, allowed the “bully” to grow in boldness and audacity like all bullies do until you punch their lights out.
Obama is calling for tapping the strategic reserves and calling for a second economic stimulus rebate and showing a willingness to drill in the gulf (as long as it’s done the “right” way which means “not at all”) as if he’s already President.
It is true that democrats always put their party first and the country third. (they put the U.N. second).
Considering the circumstances Article. II, Section 3 certainly gives Bush the authority but he seems willing to give this legislature a lot more slack than they are willing to give him. From my perspective I would do it for the sake of the Country, because it is my job and I would never consider any Congressional recriminations. They hate him anyway and it might serve to get some respect since he has so underused his Executive Authority this Congress thinks he never had it in the first place and that pattern makes it difficult for future Presidents. Actually it is only of concern if it would be a Republican President. If you have a Democrat in the Oval office you get to run the whole show as the Executive Branch becomes a substitute for all the other branches, but when the Executive is a Republican he is supposed to defer to Congress. Essentially we have two Constitutions depending on which political party you come from.
The template for these bully leftists is an old one even though the players are new. I look at their strategy as a three legged stool. The first being to indoctrinate the young, secondly they secure the support of the media and finally they saturate votes with as many rapidly created citizens who vote solely on the basis of prospective entitlements. It is so simple and it is so sad that we permitted the state we are currently now in to happen. These radical Marxists would never have gotten this far if the sentinels where not asleep and when they woke up they needed to announce the problem loudly and when we all heard and saw it we needed to jump all over it. The solutions never were that difficult. You have to open your mouth, become proactive, the way these republicans are now doing, the way Limbaugh and Levin and others are doing. Disgusting Alinsky types survived and gained influence and control because we gave them far too much rope in allowing them to destroy the founding principles of the World’s greatest Country. Reagan was, most of all a Conservative leader and he drew a line that you did not cross (remember the striking airline workers). Bush is a pragmatic altruist and that represents a functional methodology when you are among your own; it does not work well with leftists. This is not supposed to be fair and balanced because leftists are, first and foremost, real enemies. People who wish to steal your liberty and freedom are not supposed to get a shot at that. They are working outside of the Constitution, outside of natural and real law and support the servitude of free people by a State. They don’t deserve a moment of legitimacy because their intended purpose has been established. There is no room on the planet earth for Marists to coexist with a free people.
It is not a coincidence that the Republicans revolted after receiving a pep talk from TGO. I think there are some points that need to be made:
1. For years now, the Republicans have rolled over and played dead.
2. They have been operating without a Real Leader. A leader that is the standard bearer for the conservative cause. A leader that is a watchdog for the constitution and can spot tyrannical incrementalism.
3. Mark provided a spark of conservative leadership to these congressmen and congresswomen and look what resulted!
4. Instead of Obama being the “One”, Republicans need to find the “One”, a true conservative, who will lead them to fight the Democrat Communist party from destroying America.
How about once a month pep talks to the Republican Congress to keep the troops fired up?
