Congrats Great One. Question…How many affiliates does the Great One have and how many does Weiner have? Someone on FR was saying that Weiner is the 3rd most listen to radio show. I cant believe he has that kind of a following.
I’ve heard Rush Limbaugh, on several occasions, state that his main job is to entertain. Is that the main or only reason people listen to ML? I doubt that; most listeners, to either of these two mega celebrities, are inspired not just for entertainment. My time is valuable and I suspect that it is for many other listeners as well. Yes we do listen to be entertained but, just as importantly, if not more so, we listen to be educated. Rush Limbaugh is an entertaining educator and so is ML. Possibly Rush is correct… in that education, in and of itself, is entertaining and it can be further so when seasoned with his satire, wit and comedy which he has aplenty. ML is similar to Rush, but he advances deeper into the fundamentals of our founding and governing documents which is ultimately the only way to defeat liberalism and the left. Their House of Cards has no authenticity because its’ foundation is built on sand, not on the God given natural rights of man as expressed in our Declaration and Constitution. Liberals do not want to go there (unless they are defending terrorists) and that is where ML takes them and that is where they lose.
Michael Savage fails to educate. He lacks the background and authority. Once educated by ML you can no longer go back to that level of entertainment. Consequently Savage is a little like the MSM. They got away with a lot until something better came along (the truth and verifiable accuracy), and in Savage’s case his nemesis is clearly Levin.
