Mark was outraged by what William Delahunt [D-MA] said to David Addington, Vice President Dick Cheney’s chief of staff, in a hearing today.
Mark wants to have a word with the Congressman on his show and urged his audience to call Delahunt’s office and express their concerns.

I know this will shock many here but I wish to thank Congressman William Delahunt for painting the bull’s-eye brighter on that guy [Addington]; he made me safer by doing so. How? Obviously, if al Qaeda’s killers go after that guy, the alligators will eat me later.
What’s that you say, because of Delahunt, I could up end up collateral damage like my wife’s brother did in the World Trade Center and like my old Army buddy did in the Pentagon on 9/11? True, but it is more likely the guy’s family, friends, and neighbors will be hurt instead of mine so it is his problem, not mine. Well, maybe it is my problem, only later.
Congressman Delahunt must be for the death penalty and that is appropriate. After all, Addington committed the high crime of working for the United States as a staffer. Sure, he had nothing to do with actually making uncomfortable those who plotted to murder my brother-in-law, my friend, eight children 11-years-old and younger, and 2,963 more on 9/11. What Addington did and what those who actually made KSM (and company) uncomfortable did aren’t crimes I know but hey, Congressman Delahunt, you did a wonderful job, you made me safer, for now.
You snuck into a committee meeting just so you could smile, giggle like an idiot, and endangered a fellow American, his family, friends, and neighbors, making me safer for now; al Qaeda will kill me later. Thank you so much. Great job! Bravo!
Note to all: The above is exactly what I am going to say — in a mocking voice and with genuine anger in my heart — when I call Delahunt’s office. I needed to write it down.
