I think his mind was made up years ago, when as a boy, he decided to be the soldier that he became. It is men like him that give testimony to the fact that we will never lose any war, no matter how great or how many the enemy and no matter how great or how many the number of liberals that we have in Congress, that would like it to be otherwise. The man does what he does in a split second, while Congress hesitates for months to authorize appropriations without earmarks, and that speaks volumes about both of them.
