Just when I thought all this talk about John McCain was getting depressing, a disoriented RuPaul supporter called Mark to brighten my day!
I don’t understand. Did this caller think Ron Paul was still running for President? Good grief!

Shall we take stock? We shall:
In Pennsylvania, 3 out of every 10 of the very few voting Republicans in the primary voted either for someone no longer in the race or moonbat Ron Paul.
Tens of thousands of Republicans had better things to do, like change parties and alter the outcome of the Democrat’s primary. The actual Dems came out in droves and decided to take, 55-45, the corrupt Marxist over the lying Marxist.
Instead of promising to get angry (as President) and reach across the political aisle when the libs act up and slap a few of them around, McCain acts like he is on Prozac. Instead of saying he’ll close Guantanamo right after the Dem controlled Congress votes to install national security courts, he echoes the libs saying we ought to close Gitmo, Instead of saying we will ruin our economy and cause starvation with the rush to bio-fuels and we ought to drill off-shore, in ANWAR, and in North Dakota and when they come up with a cheaper, cleaning alternative he’ll support it, he is for cap and trade. We are left with an idiot who will not say that and thinks he can tip-toe into the Oval Office.
Pardon all who disagree but I think whether it is against Hillary or B. Hussein Obomba, McCain will lose in November by a landslide. You can quote me on that. BTW: If I am wrong, I will have little to cheer about.
Sgt. Tim,
I feel your pain. Honestly, I do.
However, despite all the problems that come with McCain, I’m not ready to place my head in a guillotine if he gets elected. In fact, given the alternative, I’ll be ECSTATIC to have him in office. At the very LEAST, his feet can be held to the fire when conservatives oppose him when he goes off the plantation.
You put Obama or Hillary in the White House with a Democrat majority in both houses……it’s OVER.
We blocked his lousy Immigration bill last summer. Don’t hold your breath that that issue is EVER going to be resolved to our complete liking; it won’t. Too many decades of neglect, too many “lifers” in Washington tied to special interests & cheap labor.
But at the very LEAST, McCain has said that he “got the message” (at least in so far as stopping flood is concerned) and will not do anything until state Governors have declared the southern border “secure”.
That still leaves the problem with the millions already here, I’ll concede. But with Obama or Clinton?? We wouldn’t even get THAT.
You’ve heard both of them during the campaign, haven’t you? They both want “comprehensive reform” (i.e. AMNESTY WITHOUT ENFORCEMENT FIRST).
And, of course, they’re blaming GEORGE BUSH for not already GETTING it.
I’d prefer to have a guy who at least promises half a loaf & who’s life I (we) could make miserable if we’re not getting it, rather than a stone-cold Stalinist with a congressional majority who’d give any kind of border security the middle digit on TOP of a path to citizenship for millions.
And I KNOW there are plenty of other aggravations with McCain: his tripe about “climate change”. Closing GITMO. Waterboarding. McCain/Feingold.
But CONSIDER:
Despite voting against the Bush tax cuts in 2001, McCain has has never voted for a tax increase, and is pledging to make the Bush tax cuts permenant. Obama & Hillary will raise taxes & kill small businesses.
McCain opposes socialized healthcare. Obama & Hillary will move heaven & earth (in their case, HELL & earth) to get it.
McCain wants to win in Iraq. Obama & Hillary want to pull out, satisfy their moonbat “base”, and then try to blame the insuing slaughter, oil take-over & build-up of Al Qaeda on George Bush.
McCain wants to stop earmark spending. Obama & Hillary will continue to increase it.
McCain supports Supreme Court Justices like John Roberts. Obama & Hillary will decimate the Supreme Court within three or four years with as many as three activist judges.
Finally, the military:
There’s a guy on KSFO radio on the weekend here in California. His name is David Gold, and like most of the people in their line-up, he is a “movement” conservative.
His best friend is an Army shrink, 57 years old, who has served two tours in Iraq. He’s now working at the Pentagon. Mr. Gold says this guy tells him that the Pentagon is absolutely TERRIFIED at the prospect of either Obama or Clinton (even more so Obama) making it into the White House and getting control of the military. He said they’re all sticking their heads between their legs & praying to GOD that McCain gets elected.
That is ALL I need to hear. I will take McCain, warts and all……..but Obama & Hillary have GOT to be stopped.
It probably won’t make you any more excited, Sgt. Tim…..but based on everything that’s finally coming out on this twit Obama (and thank God it is), I think he’s toast in a general election. I really do. The Democrats can talk about how “energized” their party is until they’re blue in the face—-they are imploding before our very eyes, being blown apart by the very thing they’ve been so dishonestly using against conservatives for decades now (race)…..and it is nothing less than a joy for me to watch.
Is McCain nirvana?? Hell no, he’s not. But under the circumstances, I’ll TAKE him. If nothing else, I will eagerly do so for the military.
Both of these Marists are lying and cheating and their political pedigrees make them genetically homozygous twins despite their physical gender and race. They will suck you into a black hole so large that when you are extruded you will be millions of light years distant and will not recognize the landscape as anything resembling the place from which you started. And you will not be able to return short of a revolution. In fact we are dealing with the progeny of revolutionists and weatherman bombers and they are getting close to where they always wanted to be in a Khrushchev style prophecy where we bury ourselves. Hillary Clinton sympathized and defended such people and Obama’s sentiments have not been proven to be dissimilar.
More than likely McCain will win even if he dies before the election and rides in like El Cid, as a corpse, on a horse. The other whacko fascist monsters are too scary for prime time. He expects all conservatives to vote for him out of fear (and a lot will) and a lot more republicans and democrats will vote for McCain because they would rather the devil that they have experienced rather than the devil that they haven’t. GW has burned people (especially conservatives) but they are not now going to play with explosives, as an alternative, to enact the changes that the Marxists clearly represent. You would think these Marxist dolts would have the sense to camouflage their socialistic agendas, with the usual blasphemous rhetoric, but this time they have the temerity to articulate increased taxes, socialized medicine, losing the war and government solutions for everything and anything as far as the eye can see. And they vigorously do this with a passion straight from the pages of a reverend Wright sermon. I suspect that when the Marxists saw the republican nominee they figured that he is was so easy to beat that they could come out of the closet to be themselves. They each try and out Marx each other with more and more generous and ubiquitous government solutions. I have never quite seen socialists so act like socialists. A vampire normally avoids mirrors and daylight. Not these two, they are all over the map with government solutions for everyone and everything.
Anything can happen and there are miles to go before we sleep but from what I am seeing time has hurt the Marxists. Their powerful war chests have been used to savage each other and they have done a pretty could job of it. The MSM has not had the inclination or the time to slice and dice McCain but instead have taken the Bosnian quotes, the Jeremiah Wright quotes and the Weatherman associations and kept them alive. Each day that passes has made the likelihood of their election less and less likely. You can bet that even some of the MSM are afraid that they may be getting more than what they asked for. Although the election is far from over McCain has the current advantage because fighting dems are doing his PR work better than he ever could. And they can’t help themselves.
Now I positively loathe McCain with a passion I usually reserve for the Marxists of history. He reminds me of the nasty, diminutive, raw fish eating, demonic troll in Lord of the Rings who slithered on all fours and had to be watched at all times because of his untrustworthiness. I haven’t figured out whether the guy is just stubborn and stupid or a true believer. It doesn’t matter because, in many respects, he is more like them, than he is like us, and that is all that I need to know. The worst part of it is that he is on our side and, as such, he represents a real challenge to conservatives. I suspect that he will enrage us more than he already has but he and his congressional cohorts are not immune to the consequences. While McCain may be having his last stand, many in Congress want political futures and will not have the luxury of running against hard Marxists that are easy to beat. And those are the ones that will be beaten up by the constituency even more than McCain. It is upon those who support McCain that the laser light of discontent and outrage must be shined. They will not be happy. We now face a rather unpleasant choice of whether we want McCain pissing on the inside of our tent where we may be able to do something about it or we allow one of the Marxists doing the same on the outside of our tent where we can do almost nothing at all.
BTW, my Floridian neighbor is a RuPaul supporter. He suffers a lot!
The best thing we can do for the country right now is do our best to add to the chaos in the Democrat primary. The more problems that party has, the better our country will be. I think I want McCain to win, but I doubt I will be able to pull the lever for him, myself. I know in my heart and mind that if McCain becomes President, he will be a complete and total disaster. But even so, Obama or Hillary with a super majority Dem Congress would be even worse. So, I am really disgusted. At least I’m not a delusional RuPaul supporter, though! LOL!
MLF,
I understand what you’re saying. Completely. And I like task’s analogy about deciding whether to support someone we may have some control over who’s “pissing INSIDE the tent” or a Marxist we CAN’T control “pissing OUTSIDE”. That pretty much sums it up.
But it’s STILL a no-brainer, IMO.
We had a primary election, and McCain was left standing. Not only was he NOT my first choice……but between the original “big five”–Mitt, Rudy, Fred, Huckabee & him–he was number FOUR (the only one I placed below him was Huckabee).
But we can’t do anything to change that now. And frankly, while I was listening to Rush this morning & hearing McCain repudiate the N.C Republican committee for running that very VALID attack add against Obama, I wanted to throw up.
It is what it is.
Just UNDERSTAND:
Not voting for McCain in November equals “proxy” support for either Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton.
That’s not an “opinion”….it’s a fact.
McCain may win with Democrat votes. I won’t be canceling out any of their votes by not voting.
Every time I think I can vote for McCain, he opens his mouth and kills the thought. If McCain doesn’t see fit to come to the conservatives, then let him win without us. I see no reason to take an active role in my getting screwed by John McCain.
USMC162, that is exactly what happens to me. I start to take a step to entertain the thought of maybe beginning to support this guy when I hear him talking about tax cuts and supporting our military, then, when he chastises the NC Republican party for simply linking Obama to his pastor and NC Gubernatorial candidates to Obama or when he comes out talking about unilateral Global Warming energy caps or blaming Bush for the New Orleans mess (“Never Again, never again”), I get upset and feel that I could never trust the guy. The one issue he won’t talk about for now is Immigration Reform. He got his butt kicked by his constituents when he tried to ramrod “McCain-Kennedy” through the Senate. He now says “I heard the people” but, when the time is right, he will surely conspire with the Democrats to bring it back again! I will not give McCain’s campaign any money unless he comes out talking like a REAL REAGAN FOOT SOLDIER, promising to build a fence on the border, keep Guantanamo, keep the Bush tax cuts, and Drill FOR OIL! With that said, it isn’t likely that he’ll ever get a cent from me.
