It is the most amazing thing what comes out from the mouths of these 2 and the media don’t bat an eye. It gets explained away as a “mistake” or justified as some kind of right-wing attack when exposed, but God forbid, if the shoe was on the other foot. Even when a lie about a republican is exposed, the MSM will still run with it and the liberals will keep repeating it hoping it becomes true. It still makes my blood boil at the treatment of George Allen and how media manipulated that whole scam was. Even more ironic though, is that lying, deception and corruption are taken as matter-of-fact and acceptable where democrats are concerned. Republicans just make lousy crooks and get booted out when caught. Democrats , however, become super stars within their own party. Sickening.
Democrats are accepted as imperfect humans and almost any standard or no standard applies. Republicans are held to a standard for angels and gods whereby any imperfection suggests, if not confirms, hypocrisy in the minds of liberals (MSM). To a liberal any crime is understandable so that even the suggestion of standards and benchmarks, by republicans, is unforgivable heresy. Consequently humans that lie are OK while those that don’t understand that as part of human imperfection are the real problem.
The democrats have done a very shrewd job in manipulating and distorting the political landscape. Since they have the MSM and hollywood on their side, their years of negative, soviet-style propaganda have taken a significant toll. Anything republican is evil and tyrannical, religion is something to be mocked and rejected – they’ve basically done a very good job in painting republicans as corrupt and greedy – basically, in democrat colors (it easy when we have linguini-spined republicans in congress). The way liberals behave towards conservatives is very telling – rude, unprofessional, hostile, antagonistic, violent. The democrats have reinforced themselves with a protective “force-field” that isn’t penetrated by the media. And we see that happening with Obama which is very scary(personally satisfying, though, to see the Clintons being thrown out with the garbage, so to speak). Hopefully, the cable news (FOX) and talk radio can penetrate through to enough people to shake them out of their stupor. Reject Obama and his socialism, and more importantly, get rid of Reid and Pelosi by getting the Congress back. Let’s buck the system and the nay sayers.
Imagine that if, in 1942, we had Reid, Pelosi, Kerry, Durbin, Kennedy, and Clinton in Congress in the early days of WWII. After early defeats in North Africa and large losses at Tarawa in the Pacific, Sen Reid would have said, “the war is lost!” Sen Hillary Clinton, her thighness, would have questioned the integrity of Gen Marshall and later, Gen Eisenhower. Durbin and Kerry (“Lurch”) would have charged our soldiers of committing war crimes. Kennedy would have been drunk and singing in spanish (just as he does today). With this crew of “Star Wars Bar” creatures in charge of Congress, we would have surrendered to both the Germans and Japanese! In those days, the behavior shown by democrat leaders today would have been called “TREASON”. Now, it’s called patriotism?
We would not have surrendered to the Germans; we would have been on their side to begin with (axis powers). They were supreme socialists. Nothing bothers me more than seeing businesses closed down with tax levy stickers on their windows. Corporations do not do that. Government does this. All the taxes that these bureaucrats confiscate burdens freedom and free enterprise, which ultimately translates into people having to pay privately for what the government, forced them to pay for initially and could not deliver. They can’t deliver because out of every hundred dollars these inefficient losers confiscate eighty-nine dollars is consumed by the bureaucracy itself before it even gets to its’ intended purpose.
