Military Commissions and Death Penalty for 9/11 Terrorists, Sen. McCain?

The Pentagon has charged six detainees at Guantanamo Bay with murder and war crimes in connection with the Sept. 11 attacks, it was announced Monday. Officials said they’ll seek the death penalty in what would be the first trials under the terrorism-era military tribunal system.

Millions of Americans join Mark Levin in wanting to know from Senator John McCain whether he thinks those six terrorists should be tried by Military Commission, as currently provided for in law, and whether the death penalty should be sought:

I know for sure that many families are also awaiting his answer:

“My opinion is, if the death of 3,000 people isn’t sufficient for a death penalty in this country, then why do we even have the death penalty?” — Debra Burlingame, sister of Captain Charles “Chic” Burlingame III who was the pilot of America Airlines Flight 77

Will the ACLU come to the rescue of the Islamofascists? For their sakes, we need to speed them off to meet with their virgins!

What kind of tortured, twisted answer will McCain give? A sticky situation he is in, but he better make sure his answer sticks, on the right side of Conservatism if he wants their votes!
