Thursday, Mark read a fantastic column by Michael Reagan on TownHall.com, titled John McCain Hates Me.
Michael Reagan is awesome! I read his book, On the Outside Looking in, years ago. That was an outstanding book and glimpse into the life of the Reagan family.

I’ve always wanted to give Michael Reagan a big hug, but I never could explain why.
I think I know why now!
Good on Mike Reagan for calling a spade a spade! Brutal & blunt is his description of McCain’s brand of psuedo Conservatism. He has the utmost disdain for true Conservatives, yet try to “sneak one through” when it suits him, to court votes from the Conservative base.
I say to the base – MELT THE PHONE LINES of THE RNC! Bring on PEOPLE POWER like it was unleashed to confront & defeat the Shamnesty Bill!
I wonder how Michael’s stepmother feels. About Michael that is. We know how she feels about McCain.
The RNC will not get a cent from me.
As much as I thought that I would have to vote for McCain my distrust and dislike for him runs so deep and was so further amplified by the last debate that I know that I cannot honestly cast my vote for this man and be true to myself.
It’s ironic that Michael Reagan shows more love and loyalty to his adoptive father than the 2 natural siblings. I find Michael’s feedback and outlook very informative and enlightening. It’s like Ann Coulter said when asked about Nancy Reagan endorsing John McCain privately, we love her because she was married to a great man, not for her political leanings. She supports embryonic stem cell research, for God’s sake. Lovely lady, but a little misguided politically. When I see Michael on FOX news, it’s such a comfort and a stabilizing factor for me. His is one opinion I value highly.
