Elites trade tax cuts for McCain and open borders

During the 2007 debate over the bill, the Wall Street Journal’s editorial board fully supported McCain-Kennedy’s immigration reform legislation to ensure the flow of cheap labor to businesses within the United States, it was all about the money — theirs. The elite on both the Left and Right were arrogant then. To illustrate that they are arrogant still, Mark Levin played an audio and commented about Dorothy Rabinowitz’ remarks on Neil Cavuto’s show yesterday:

It was, perhaps, before Ms. Rabinowitz’ time yet even she should know that when our Constitution was ratified in 1789, the levying of taxes was an authority left to the several states. Federal income taxes were not formally instituted in the United States until 1913, when the 16th Amendment was ratified. “No wits” indeed.

Yeah, I know we should just shut up and accept whatever crumbs we are lucky to get because these people know so much more than the rest of us that they qualify as the litmus test on who the sick and deranged are. That’s what sometimes happens when you don’t spend enough time on the inside and they let you out early. You become an expert on nothing.
