Levin and Ingraham will not shut up about GOP candidates

Mark Levin was on with Laura Ingraham, on the latter’s also great radio show, this morning, and talking about the GOP candidates in this race. Some conservative talkers and pundits want them to shut up but that is not going to happen. Here is a taste:

Mark Levin: [McCain has] flip-flopped on open borders. He’s flip-flopped on tax cuts. And yet he would use the full power of the federal government, in my view in an un-Constitutional way, to control the oil companies, to control the pharmaceutical companies, or any other company that happens to tick him off on a given day.

As far as Huckabee goes, I call him ‘Huck-a-phony’ because that is exactly what he is. He was a liberal governor; he was a populist in Arkansas. He was another open borders guy, a big tax guy, and now he is for the ‘Fair Tax.’ Well Laura, if he opposed income taxes and wanted a flat sales tax — which I like too — in Arkansas, why didn’t he propose it in Arkansas? He never did. So, now he’s running as a right-winger.

Part of the problem is we have candidates who are running from their records and twisting their records, and we’ll see how this plays out, but they still, neither of them, can get a majority of the Republican or conservative vote.

Laura Ingraham: My point here is this is a primary and this is where you fight it out. May the best candidate win. May the candidate I hope that matches up with as many conservative principles as possible win, but this idea that we should all just agree and not discuss the differences and the true records, including Romney and everybody, their record whether it is immigration or the life question, tax cuts, healthcare reform, or any of these seminal issues. I mean, this is the time to discuss this so for people to just say, “Oh, we just have to rally around one [candidate]…” What? It’s ridiculous.

It was great talk-radio!

Leave it to the libs to be mindless sheep led to the slaughter. Let them be the ones who settle for rambling on by their candidates about ‘change’ without ever discussing the issues. Leave it to the liberal pundits and talk-radio show hosts to not challenge a Democrat candidate when their rhetoric does not match their record or previous statements.

The rest of us will debate the issues and fully examine the candidates, now.
