‘Vote for Fred’ South Carolina, says Mark Levin

by @ 6:58 pm on January 17, 2008. Filed under Mark Levin Audio, Tim Sumner

While Mark Levin did not endorse (and has not) former Senator Fred Thompson for the Republican nominee, he leans that way and strongly exhorted South Carolinians to vote for Fred in their primary this coming Saturday. Mark explained this evening why they should not vote for the two candidates, McCain and Huckabee, the lib media promotes.

Fred Thompson is the real conservative! Why settle for anything less?

OH Great One, yhello from the mountain. Thank you for actually coming straight out for Fred in S.C.

It’s time for every conservative with a microphone to break some rules and endorse the best conservative in the race.

This election is too important to hold your fire because of conventional wisdom. THANK YOU !

I’m a definite Fred-head! Not only is he the only true conservative in the bunch, but Fred Thompson is trust-worthy and a true statesman who has crossover appeal for the independent and undecided votes that we’ll need in the general election. No one has really mentioned what’s in store for us with the upcoming congressional elections, but from what I hear and read conventional (political) wisdom is saying that the democrats are going to be picking up a few republican seats. Especially in the Senate and they’ll be more confrontational and obstructive than they are now. (My God! Are we still gonna be stuck with Stretch & Harry the Body?!?) We know that McCain and Huckabee are just big suck-ups and will cozy up to the dems. Romney, for all his fine rhetoric will get eaten alive and won’t be able to get much done. The general electorate will go with a democrat over McCain and Huckabee since they’re the same thing, and reject Romney because he didn’t work well with the dems in Massachusetts and they don’t want a continuation of the situation we have now with Prez Bush & Congress. Fred Thompson and Rudy Giuliani (imho) both have the kind of personalities that will fight for issues and are likable enough to work with both sides of the aisle to get things done without compromising and caving in. I want to win and I have confidence South Carolina will give us the right choice (pardon the pun).

If I lived in S.C. I would enjoy being part of history for young ones to read about 50 years from now knowing that thier parents, aunt’s,uncles etc. voted for Fred-because he wants them to grow up enjoying a better safer world than ever imagined by those who are afraid of change.

Yay! I know Jeri was on with Mark the other day.

Mark Levin friend, Melanie Morgan, also came out today and urged Republicans in South Carolina to cast their ballots for Fred Thompson:

    CONSERVATIVE PRO-TROOP LEADER ENDORSES
FRED THOMPSON ON EVE OF SOUTH CAROLINA PRIMARY

Melanie Morgan, chairman of the nation’s largest pro-troop organization, MoveAmericaForward.org, radio talk show host on KSFO 560 AM – San Francisco, author of “American Mourning” and conservative columnist has endorsed Sen. Fred Thompson for President.

Writing in her new column, “The Complete Conservative” Morgan urged South Carolina Republicans to vote for Thompson:

“For the sake of this nation, I’m hoping that on Saturday the people of the Palmetto State punch the ballot for Thompson (no hanging chads, please).”

The column can be read online here: http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=59744

  7. MLF says:

Melanie Morgan was on Hannity & Colmes last night supporting Fred, as well!

  8. Liz says:

I’ve made about 11 phone calls so far for Fred Thompson reminding them to vote tomorrow.
Most are not answering their phones because they’re being inundated but the 3 or 4 that I did speak to were SO pleasant!
    It’s really easy to do.

  9. task says:

The SC race is very important. If Thompson should prevail it changes the dynamics big time. This would essentially so wound McCain that voters will be looking at Thompson and Romney. Then you would have conservatism and experience in play regarding issues; it takes populism out of the equation. Now you have a primary based upon the best of the choices, not the worst.

  10. 1oneshot says:

As long as McCain is on the Presidential Trail it leaves him less time to screw things up in D.C. Vote For Fred Thompson.
