About all Hillary knew about Bhutto was what to wear

[I]s it too much to ask the free and open media in this country report accurately about Hillary Clinton’s supposed foreign-policy experience? Specifically, I would encourage folks here to read this analysis from our friends at Sweetness & Light.

Hillary had minimal contact with Benazir Bhutto despite contending (unchallenged) otherwise, and her fibs about her “experience” are now piling up. And, frankly, watching these candidates use this assassination as evidence of their national-security credentials is beginning to look a lot political ambulance chasing to me. Our soldiers are fighting and dying in Iraq and Afghanistan against these barbarians, these barbarians are still torturing and murdering people who refuse to succumb to their ideology, the Iranian regime is still pursuing nuclear weapons and fomenting terrorism around the globe, politicians in Lebanon — who dare to stand up to the enemy — have been assassinated, and the list goes on. So, the terrible assassination of Bhutto reminds us that we are at war and should elect a serious person as president? Well, some of us don’t need reminding, and those who do won’t be swayed in any significant way by Bhutto’s murder for they weren’t persuaded by 9/11 and any of the rest of it. — Mark Levin

I hafta wonder… Is she going to put together a focus group to figure out if the white flag goes with her pantsuit or is she gonna go pro-war for a few milliseconds and a photo op?

If Hillary is the most qualified to be president because she was married to a former president. If my wife was a world renowned proctologist does that make me an expert on arsholes? Not a sermon just a thought.

  3. task says:

Well said and I might add that in this regard I don’t even trust the proctologist let alone his wife.
Don’t kid yourself; this is about getting another dose from that same proctologist only this time it will under the auspices of a government run health care program where you will be required to supply your own proctoscope.

It was a little discouraging for me to read Mark Levin’s opinion that “those who do” “need reminding” won’t be “swayed in any significant way” by the Bhutto assassination. I had opined earlier in this forum that maybe the Bhutto assassination WOULD bring some people to their senses about the threat of Islamo-Fascism. But if 9-11 didn’t/ doesn’t do the trick for the people who have not yet “come around”, then I suppose that this event won’t do it either!! Damn!!

Hillary is just one issue in the death of Bhutto. Can anyone tell me why Senator Arlen Spector and Patrick Kennedy are meeting in Pakistan with her and the Pakistan President? Why don’t these guys come home, stay home, and do their job of building the fence, limiting legal immigration, stopping illegal immigration, deporting all illegals, and giving me my money back from the failed SS fund so I can make good money out of it. Why are our Congressmen and women doing everything but their job–representing me and you though Constitutionally-based and (existing) law enforcement? I need to stop because I actually think these two caused the problem and I could blather on endlessly about how wrong our Congress has gone and is going in what they select to do each day.

I have a different take on this. Let Spector, Kennedy and Clinton go to Pakistan and stay there. Anything they do back here we can live better without.

Dub, The greatest generation begot the dumb parents of the dumbest generation. Then you have the UFT that teaches them nothing. Except for values, morals and ethics a bright student can almost self learn but that is not the case for most of them. Lately these elections are generally not won by large margins so a 1 to 3 point swing is all that is necessary. Remember that many talk radio hosts are not around, during this Holiday Season, to comment on the Bhutto tragedy. That is making a difference. You read an ML comment but did not hear his full-blown roar. The fact is that many MSM commentators are speaking about it for the deceptive purpose of helping McCain. Since it appears to be working that indicates some people are aware. However most people will not connect the dots as they do with something such as illegal immigration. Out of sight is out of mind. We experience episodes with the illegal issue on a community and personal basis all day long so we have a strong National opinion that pays no attention to party affiliation. Unless your ox is being gored most people are not concerned. Additionally GW has done an admirable job of keeping us safe on a domestic level and that has probably worked against him since voters underestimate the threat.

Save your worries for later. If you wish to practice during the short run I suggest that you concern yourself that McCain doesn’t get a push that seriously hurts Romney. This may help Thompson but I think he is in for a VP slot and he will only get that with Romney.

We know that Hellary is a worthless carpetbagger that will morph into anything that Clinton Inc. determines will effectively fool voters. The issue is not Hellary. We have time to deal with her. The issue is whom we nominate and this Bhutto tragedy is exactly what Clinton Inc. and the MSM will use to try and derail any Conservative nomination with the credentials and strength needed to take the socialist out.

Yeah, task- I think that you are right when you say that the absence of Rush and Sean and Mark et. alli is giving the Drive-By Media the chance to spin this Bhutto assassination in a way that is favorable to a RINO like McLame. I’ve learned not to worry too much- lately I’ve been repeating St. Padre Pio’s maxim: “Pray, hope- and DON’T WORRY!!” So I will say a little prayer for Mitt Romney (God Bless His Heart!)!! I HOPE that he wins in Iowa and New Hampshire!! And I am not going to worry about Shrillary overly much!! (The spiritual maxim: “What you RESIST, PERSISTS!!” is what I say to myself every day! I shudder to think that my visceral revulsion at the thought of Shrillary would backfire into aiding her into the Oval Office!!). I am taking this all as it comes along- for even the future happens one day at a time!! Later on!!

  8. saxmachine says:

I demand to be appointed Ambassador to South Korea. My wife is of Korean Ancestry and our niece is a 3rd Dan black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

This, by Shrillary’s standards, makes me the most qualified man for the job.

Thank you Mr. President, we’ll be ready to leave on Wednesday.

  9. DubInDallas says:

Hell, saxmachine- with credentials like that, you should be facing down the dog-eating dictator in NORTH Korea!! Let your DAUGHTER handle the SOUTH Koreans!! No prob!! Happy New Year!!

  10. task says:

That dog-eating dictator is a cannibal!!

  11. lse57 says:

    Happy New Year, everyone.

The new New York ball of double-sided Waterford crystal with LED lights is sure to fill us all with sparkle enough to enjoy the new year plentifully…

  12. lse57 says:

    Dear Task,

Should we send the whole Congress to Pakistan to really get our country back?

If they are not here, they cannot “comprehensively reform” anything…

    I like your suggestion.
