Tonight, Mark Levin discussed with Michelle Malkin the row over CNN’s failure to vet a fair number of now exposed lib plant questioners during last night’s GOP debate.
CNN is the ‘Colonic News Network.’
Update: Malkin has posted a link to this interesting IBD editorial H-R-CNN. Funny stuff. It turns out that now out of the closet Brigadier General Kerr was for Kerr(y) before he was for Hillar(y).
Update II: See Malkin’s column this morning in the New York Post:
In a now richly ironic interview with Wired.- com before the debate, David Bohrman, a CNN senior vice president, explained why videos were picked not by popular vote, but by supposedly seasoned CNN journalists: The Web is still too immature a medium to set an agenda for a national debate, he claimed. “It’s really easy for the campaigns to game the system.”

Libs planting an entire Greenhouse, and CNN is supplying the FERTILIZER! If Foxnews did this to the DEMS .. oh, that’s right… the DEMS didn’t have the GUTS to go on FOXNews.
As Always, Great Post Tim,
If not for you I’d be left out in the cold & dark…
Thanks & Please keep up the great work…
PS: CNN is fond of Black Kow fertilizer apparantly & someone has Mad
Cow as well…
Some underling will be tossed out as fodder for a Kids Meal before it’s over…
HEY, get rid of Dan Rather’s “Guide For The News”!!…(Follow The Fox)…
Dems don’t have guts…PERIOD. Remember, their motto is “RUN-AWAY!!!”
And it’s unmitigated horse-puckey when they said they didn’t know who the General was. Bunch of dirty rotten liars
GWILHELM … the better word is MANURE, in place of fertilizer! Yes, that’s Lib Food … as the Italian phrase goes … “too much manjare, to much cacare” (excuse my Italian spell check).
CNN and media don’t ask yet do Dems disservice.
You didn’t even need bloggers to figure this out.
A questioned women actually stated she was inclined to vote for Edwards. What? How did she get there? She was undecided? She was an idiot and a plant the size of a Sequoia.
The bloggers served the purpose of actual identification so innuendo turned to evidence.
Other than Glenn Beck, the token conservative on CNN, they are saturated with liberals.
I suspected it would be like this and after the first question I knew what the rest of it would be like. Actually they did fool me. It was worse than I imagined.
As Rush Limbaugh stated there was a silver lining. Candidates increasingly moved to the center feeling embarrassed that the conservative answer would not be equitable and compassionate enough. When you really know what conservatism is the answer to most of those questions would make the questioner look like a fool. Dittos for CNN.
Can you imagine what ML would have answered should someone call with questions like this? I doubt most of them would have gotten passed the screeners. If they did it would be instant death.
Despite the above all the Republican candidates are far, far better than all the liberal counterparts. Even those that I have criticized for years, for lacking conservative credentials, are heads and shoulders above the socialist alternatives. And they once again proved that. The difference is glaring. It is like comparing Albert Einstein and Rosie O’Donald.
Again, Fred Thompson proved to be the most consistent conservative. Rush even made a point to say that on his show. People need to wake up and realize this!
CNN is denying they planted the General. So I guess they didnt fly him in at their expense. The General was just lucky enough to have a ticket to a debate that featured his pre-recorded question. I think Anderson Cooper should get the Academy Award for how surprised he was that the General was in the audience.
It’s almost comical if it wasn’t so pathetic. The liberal democrats, CNN and their ilk cannot and will never deal with republicans in a professional and up front manner. They know they can’t win arguments of philosophies and ideas so they have to resort to theatrics and gimmicks to misrepresent and monopolize opinions against republicans and conservatives. The “plants” are the only way the democrats have to protect their own candidates and slander the republicans so they can slant public perceptions and keep pushing their conservative stereotypes.
Anyone who paid attention to the debate the other night would have to conclude that the most “Reagan” like comment,as well as, canidate, is w/out a doubt was & is:
DUNCAN HUNTER
(Q?) “What will you do to “repair” America’s image around the world?”
(A)…”I will not apologize for America.”
Almost the first hour was on “illegal entry” into the USA w/everyone “jockeyin” for position on this issue…
Who introduced the House Bill to build “The Fence ?” That was passed, funded & yet to be built??…
Contact “your” local representative & tell them to “support” Hunter’s Bill & demand that the fence be built/finished by next year’s election…
DUNCAN HUNTER
Has anyone ever heard him having to explain his positions on the issues or comments that he’s made??…
He is w/out a doubt the most “Consistant Conservative” which is what we should looking for after almost a decade of “Compassionate Conservatism”…
Let Your Conscience Be Your Guide…
Vote for & support Hunter’08

DH is the man. The very reason IMHO that the media types are ignoring him is BECAUSE he is the definition of a Conservative.
There are two GOP candidates the media is ignoring – FT & DH. Can anyone guess the reasons for this?
Each of DH & FT have their achilles heel – campaign finance reform(FT), and NAFTA(DH).
Huckabee has the momentum at present – note that he hardly comes under fire from Giulliani. The duel appears like this – FT v MH, and RG v MR. The nature of these duels is due to the segment of voters they are jostling for. Evangelicals have now coaslesced behind Huckabee because he has the credentials of “Baptist Minister”. They are attracted by this church connection, logical or otherwise. DH & FT (in no particular order)probably makes the best combination for the GOP ticket.
A Thompson/Hunter ticket sounding pretty good up this way.
I guess it was on Tuesday a caller to Rush’s show.
He was there (at the debate) as a reporter I believe.
Anderson Cooper and CNN are lying through their teeth over the General and not knowing him.
He said prior to the debate, reporters etc., were given a tour of the CNN station and the General was also part of that tour.
He said you can’t imagine how many people greeted the General and obviously knew him before last week, Anderson Cooper included.
The caller told Limbaugh that he called all the cable channels to let them know what actually went on that day and as of Tuesday no one had called him to explain further what he had seen.
Maybe someone will refresh my memory.
I know it was CNN (probably during the 2004 campaign) that put up a picture of Dick Cheney and flashed some unflattering words across the screen. OOPS, mistake by CNN, and of course the issue was dropped almost immediately.
In one way I wish Republican candidates would refuse to do any more debating on CNN, but then they would stoop to the level of the Dem candidates who won’t go on Fox to debate.
That caller was Gordon Bloyer Portage. I think you can listen to his call here:
