A regular Lib caller to Mark’s show, DaveFromQueens, had a brief encounter with Mark Levin at the Huntington book signing event and posted his story on the the kook fringe Lib site, Daily Kos.
Mark had the following response:
Dave, or whatever his name is, is lying about his conversation with me. As I left the podium and headed for the book-signing area, he called to me. I stopped, and he handed me Army recruitment brochures and asked me if I would join the Army. Now, Dave, who is a regular lib caller to my show, knows I have heart disease and had bypass surgery; he also knows I am 50 years old. So, this was just another idiot stunt that makes guys like him think they’ve actually done something cool. I looked him straight in the eyes and immediately said to him, “I will join if you do.” He wasn’t sure how to reply. Eventually he said, “Ok, if you agree to go to Afghanistan with me.” I had no idea what he meant by such a stupid comment — as if you can join the Army and pick your deployment. But then I moved on.
I see that now Dave has resorted to lying by embellishing what he said for the Daily Kos kooks. He has fabricated an entirely different exchange. He says he said to me he would join if we went to Afghanistan to find Osama bin Laden, and so forth. That was never said. He’s a liar. As for the rest of his post, I have no idea what occurred. I was too busy speaking with the patriots who had come to the book-signing.
If, in fact, the owner of the Book Revue dumped on the folks who attended the book-signing, I will denounce him and urge my audience to never shop there again. I will try to get to the bottom of this.
The owner of Book Revue, Rich, just spoke to Mark Levin and made the following comment:
“I never met this gentleman. I have no idea who he is. I am not taking political sides, we sell books and make available all points of view. I was happy to do the event to sell the book. I was happy to see all of the people who came to the event. It went very smoothly and we appreciate their business. Any suggestion to the contrary is simply false.”
Mark encourages his audience to continue to shop at Book Revue.

I heard this schmuck yelling out that very question to Mark. I looked around and wasnt able to see him when he was actually voicing his question. Probably a good thing for him. I was hoping to get in a libs face Saturday night.
I missed the whole thing. After the speeches were over, I headed up front to the register to buy a 2nd copy of the book to get signed!

How come conservatives never rain on their events? It is difficult enough to have to sign signatures for several hours without having that experience made unnecessarily more difficult. Sad.
At least the Ron Paul supporters and sign carriers that were present, who continue to mistakenly believe that he is a true conservative and are surprised when a sophisticated ML audience isn’t on their side, were reserved and quiet.
I think it’s jealousy on their part. After all, we have so many wonderful Conservative leaders and they really don’t have anyone looking out for them or our wonderful country. Therefore, they have no celebrations and no happy occasions, only bitter anger. Misery does love company…. fortunately, we are terrible guests at bitter pity parties!!

My guess is your resume would be as inflated as your ego. You’re a nobody who has done nothing other than “earning” 15 minutes of fame on the Daily Kooks by accosting someone who has served his country in the Justice Department and community in private life.

Just heard levin claim on his radio show that he is considering a lawsuit against “one individual” who came there to incite trouble at his event that “cost him a lot of money” to put on. He further said that the individual lied to the police and is slandering his name.

All of us who were there know what a jerk this dave guy is…and a liar, too. He was annoying everyone. We were trying to ignore him and he just kept yapping his mouth and trying to get some good folks into an argument. I was standing right there. No one called the police on this guy until he started bothering and insulting people who were minding their own business, standing on line. Sean was doing a great job of ignoring him. So sorry, jerko, you didn’t ruin their night.
Civil lawsuits can be time consuming and expensive. Besides, you can lose. That is not good publicity. Any lawsuit would bring attention to this guy and I’m sure that is what he favors.
Possibly ask the Court for an order of protection. It should be easy to get and if he violates it he spends time in jail.
On the other hand, should the need arise, if a lawsuit were to be instituted against Waxman and the boys (tortuous interference, I believe) the discovery process would be devastating. Just the mere inference will put the “Fairness Doctrine” to rest. In fact I believe it already has.

I couldn’t help but notice this guy, since he kept waving some sort of pamphlets (recruitment papers?) at Mark while Mark was trying to take questions from the crowd. He demanded to know if Mark was going to enlist. What a dufus!
His whole schtick was really lame and inappropriate. Those in the audience were there to hear Mark discuss his book about his dog, Sprite, and how he dealt with the loss of his precious canine companion. This guy Dave was just looking to spoil the event, and I’m glad he was escorted out of there.

You cant believe how it irks me that this very piece of human excrement knowingly went to the book signing and did what he did. He knows Marks age and Marks health condition, but they have no other recourse when it comes to Conservatives who never served yet supports the military. I remember Thanksgiving 2001 and I turned to my brother (both of us being in our mid to late 30′s at the time) and I asked him if you were younger would you…I didnt even get the rest of my question out and he said, “HELL YEAH”!!! And there is the difference between us and the likes of Davey Boy. We see an injustice and we are ready to fight. Where as he is ready to go to court.
I’ve been reading that Dave the Puke’s crap. My guess is that he needs serious help. Can anyone recommend a licensed professional in that field? He would probably prefer someone in the Queens, NY area.

I find it disgusting that he feels the need to disrupt our good times. Obviously, he doesn’t think he has any “trustworthy leaders” to support on his “side” because if he did, he would be out there at their gatherings supporting them, instead of consistently planning and disrupting ours.
