I saw a t-shirt with his likeness that said "The only good thing about this bastard is that he's dead." I shook the young lad's hand and said thanks for cheering me up.

In Union Square Park, I have seen people actually wearing Che action gear where Che is wearing a keffiyah instead of his beret.

What next? Che posed in a loin cloth living among the Amazon Indians?

I love confronting these young skulls full of mush who wear this crap at the local high school where the wife works. Half of them have no idea who this sociopath really was. Once explained, most get the idea that wearing them is stupid. Had one guy, a good kid, turn his shirt in-side-out right there because he was so embarrassed. My wife will ask them to leave class if a kid wears crap like this.

I love reading the comments on Amazon. I only read the 1 star ones when its a book I am interested in. I have a feeling this nut job hasnt even read this book. His or her parents should be doing time for raising a dipstick.

"I wish history were this simple. Every man is flawed, as was Che, but when you build up the death counts you must understand that Che and the Cuban revolution is nothing compared to the devastation witnessed daily in the third world brought to them by the inhuman hand of capitalism. There are things to learn from Che, we can learn from his mistakes but I would rather have a shirt with Che than one with Bush, pepsi cola, or Nike for they represent very different things. The US flag is a symbol of death and oppression all over the world. History has made Che a symbol of justice for the third world. He is a good symbol. It is only those with a small understanding of their country's own economic policies that would not question the intent of this book. Che was not a monster or a god. He was a human. But his intentions at least had some intteigence and humanity behind them, unlike many other leaders. Seach the truth, it is not easy to find. It takes work and I am sure the privlaged kids in america love the lazy acidemic effort of this one."

Oh the looks I get here in NYC from the little Stalinists when I wear my Che looking Reagan shirt. Funny though none of them have the guts to say anything.
