Rudy like Schwartzenkennedy?!? Puleeease….

Mark read an article in the NY Sun about Rudy’s trip to Sacramento, CA. Rudy said he is much like Arnold Schwarzenegger. Well, Rudy may not be much of a conservative, but he is not as pathetic as our flip-flopping governator.

Is Rudy proving to be just another pandering politico?!? You decide…

There are too many people who’s opinion I respect who hold Rudy in very high regard (some of them close & personal friends of Mark’s) for me to dismiss him from strong consideration at this point. He most certainly will be one of either 2 or 3 that will be getting my vote.

Does this sort of political schmoozing help him?? No, I think not. But I’ve seen it done by damn near every candidate we’ve ever had, in some way, shape or form.

I hate to beat a dead horse…….but the absolute WORST offender of all for this kind of thing is Newt Gingrich. I remember having to hold back my vomit two years ago when he was on his despicable “health care tour” with Hillary Rotten Castro-Clinton, as he slobbered all over her with praise about how she was such a “dedicated”, “hard-working”, “incredibly smart” legislator, and so on.

Sorry, but if I’m going to choose which one I have to “pander” to, I’ll schmooze Arnold before I EVER nuzzle up to Hillary.

    NOT EVEN COMPARABLE!

I currently live in this land of the fruits and nuts. I was part of the recall of Gray Davis. But I saw through this rino immediately; I would not vote for him…I voted for Tom McClintock, a real conservative. During his re-election, I really had no choice; it was either Arnold or a radical leftist socialistic puke. I picked the lesser of two evils. That was the turning point where Arnold started his hard left turn. He is not, never was, and never will be a conservative….THAT is really the only thing “Schwartzenkennedy” has with Rudy. And I do not consider Rudy much of a conservative either, but he is far better than the turn we are currently stuck with…

Ihope Gingrich does nor run, he will just screw things up, he has way too much baggage.

Tom McClintock was my choice too.

  4. ScottT says:

Unfortunately in politics, there’s always that little issue (actually, BIG issue in some cases) of “consider the alternative”. That’s basically what voting for Arnold came down to.

  5. Rudy definitely wouldn’t be my first choice for the Big Kahuna, but up against any donkeycrat I would vote for him without a second thought! One of the things I like about him the most is that he doesn’t try to hide who he really is. You can’t say that about Hillary or any of the rest of the dumbassocrats. I’ve recently composed a version of Charlie Daniels’ ‘The Devil Went Down To Georgia’ that I hope Dr. Levin will take notice of before Sean’s concerts get started. It’s called ‘The Shrill One Went Down To Selma’. Enjoy!

The Shrill One went down to Selma, she was looking for some votes to seal.
She was in a bind, cuz he weren’t far behind, she hoped she’d have great appeal.
Well she went across the bridge span suckin’ air and sweatin’ a lot, then the Shrill One jumped up to the church mike and said folks let me tell you what.
I guess ya probably know it, but I’m a civil rights fighter too, and I’ve come to faaar in my jet and caaar to not try and convince you.
Now Dr. King did some great things, but give the Shrill One her due, I need yer votes at the polls for my… err, our dreams to roll, then I’ll make life good for you.
She then said I ain’t no ways tiiired, so I’ll drawl it out again, please on me bet and ya won’t regret, ‘cuz I’m the best there’s ever been!
Shrill One practice on yer drawl and play yer best race card, ‘cuz ya need black votes from Selma, Barack’s comin’ on real hard, and if ya win you’ll get yer parties nod fer winnin’ polls, but if ya lose he’ll gain the Hee Haw soul.
The Shrill One squinted up her face and said I’ll stay awake, then spittle flew from her puckered lips as southern-fried she spake, and she pulled the race card with tongue tied strings and it made a faked voice hiss, then the cunning linguist got her voice down tight, and it sounded somethin’ like this.

Mired in right wingers, trust my run, Shrill One’s in da house, we shall overcome.
The capitalist pigs make way too much dough, Granny are ya satisfied, no child no!

The Shrill One held her head up cock-sure and lib elite, ‘cuz she knew she had more girth weight on her pant suited heavy feet, but then Fred said Shrill One bring it on, I’ll take you on and win, you done been told you Marxist chick, run hard left and I’ll win.

Hire all the big wigs, Shrill One run, America’s for freedom not left wing scum, free markets and low taxes give all more dough, you’ll find out next November in defeated woe.

The Shrill One will make her concessions when she knows that she’s been beat, it’ll be so great to see it, the forty five state defeat. Then Fred will say Shrill One come on back if you ever want to try again, you done been told you Marxist chick, run hard left and I’ll win.

Conspire with George Soros, run Shrill run, America’s for freedom not left wing scum. Free markets and low taxes give all more dough, now sit and stew in your evil soul.

It is a really difficult choice between Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney, to me. If I were ONLY to consider my core beliefs as as Conservative, then my vote would go unreservedly to Mitt Romney. But if I also consider (as I DO!) the likelihood of VICTORY with Giuliani (with his strength in Florida, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and New York) as opposed to the possibility of a LOSS by Romney- well, then I (whose “dream ticket” is Romney/Fred Thompson) am on the horns of a dilemma!! Do I want to vote my purest conscience and support Mitt Romney (and thus take a greater chance of Shrillary winning!) or do I vote for Giuliani (who, despite his faults, is FAR FAR FAR and away the lesser of two evils when it comes to a showdown with Shrillary) and have a greater assurance of a Republican victory?? If Romney wins, I am thrilled! If Giuliani wins, I am glad. If Shrillary wins, I am devastated!! Do I risk the devastation of a Shrillary win for the possibility of a Romney win? Or do I warily stave off the devastation of a Shrillary win by voting for Giuliani, instead?

    Hmmm…

Rudy is someone I could vote for if I am left with no other choice. However, I am holding out hope that our FRED will enter this fray and make this decision mute. Rudy is quite liberal socially; can we afford to bend our principles now? I don’t know. Unless Fred wins, then I have to say as far as his passion and understanding of the war, he is the only one I see myself voting for. Romney? Something, (could it be that socialized healthcare he did in Boston? Hmm) keeps me away from him as well. Look, we are not going to get the perfect candidate here..but Rudy better remember, bend too far left and the tree will break. We are not in the mood my candidate friends to compromise. Yet again, can we afford not to over the war? Fred, the time is now. If not, then I have to make a decision that may make me wish otherwise in 2009. We have the courts to consider, immigration..and yes the war. WE need a leader, not a follower of opinion. What a debate we are about to engage in. I think we are ready.

  8. DrWhoFan65 says:

    That’s a winner, Tim! Bravo!

  9. I hope Charlie Daniels doesn’t mind my messin’ with his perfection, but I couldn’t resist. Hillary needs to be taken down off her high horse whenever and however we can. I think it was Ben Franklin that said “the sting of any rebuke is the truth” or something like that. We can’t use the stocks to mock The Village Idiot anymore by throwing rotten tomatoes at him/hillary, but we can still do it virtually with a little wit and a keyboard.

  10. DrWhoFan65 says:

I imagine Charlie would appreciate it, Tim, but it’s probably not a good idea to introduce such an in-your-face political message at an event whose purpose is supporting the survivors of our fallen troops. I’m sure you already realize that. Then again…we might be surprised!

  11. Dr. Who, you’re absolutely correct. My disdain for Hillbillery Clanton clouded my judgement; a thousand pardons. I didn’t want to see this used at the concerts, but I would dearly love to hear Charlie do this rendition after or away from them. Sorry for my lack of clarity.
    Tim

  12. ScottT says:

Tim, let me say that Weird Al Yankovick has NOTHING on you! LOL.
