What Sandy Berger Tried To Hide
While all the details around the Sandy Berger document theft may not be known for years, thanks to the Internet, by re-visiting 2004, it is possible to draw some fairly strong conclusions as to what he was most likely trying to conceal. The central document in the controversy is The NSC’s Millennium After Action Review.
Previous statements and testimony suggest that the Clinton administration was well aware, or should have been, of an Al-Qaeda cell operating within the United States in 1999 and it was suggested that the administration act to take it out. Not only did the Clinton administration fail to act, they also failed to pass that information along to the incoming Bush administration.
To make the matter timely, the revelations could be devastating to a Hillary Clinton Presidential bid, just as it was thought at the time that they would be damaging to the Kerry Presidential candidacy. Berger was an advisor to the Kerry campaign at the time the theft took place as the Democrats were fighting an image of being weak on terrorism.

Something is very, very wrong within our government.
Moan and groan about the President’s Constitutional right to eavesdrop on international phone calls with terrorists planning violent acts against our citizens but rationalize eavesdropping on Teddy Forstmann and princess Diana, an American citizen and British subject while simultaneously disallowing and preventing the American Public to see the contents of the Maar documents. Who gets to write or rewrite history here? Will it be the facts or will it be the Clintonoids and their minions of compatriots in the complacent press? What candor. Can you just imagine Larry King asking Hillary about this? Of course not. That is why she will be on his show. Here we have a coconspirator, with more baggage than OJ Simpson, asking the American people to elect her as their President. Go figure.
Libs are untouchable these days, Shrillary will sail right into the White House without a single bad word from the press. When those of a right thinking mindset point out her flaws however, the press will cut them down in short order. Sandy Boogger shows just how far the left will go to regain and maintain power, our side just isn’t that bloodthirsty.
The Clinton Adminstration claims they were tough on terrorism.
Did the articles Berger stole show a different picture?
If Janet Reno testified truthfully to the 9/11 commission when asked about cabinet meetings on terrorism, Ms. Reno replied “I don’t remember any cabinet meetings re: terrorism”. When asked if she briefed incoming AG John Ashcroft on terrorism, she replied, “No”.
I didn’t watch much of the 9/11 testimony, but that I did see, and I remember it.
In the end, in stealing those articles did Berger help Presidential hopeful “Her thighness”? Maybe so.
If she is going to campaign on her husband’s legacy of being tough on terrorism these articles wouldn’t bode well for her, if they showed a different picture.
John Gibson from FOX NEWS has a daily count from the date Berger said he would take a Polygraph test. So far I thinks it’s over 400+ days.
