Tuesday, Mark discussed the disgraceful statements by John Kerry insulting our troops.
Mark is right! The Democrat leaders have made a habit of undermining our troops. They really do want us to lose this war!

I think Kerry’s comments on our troops being stupid,is totally appalling, and shows exactly where these anti-war socialists mind-set is where they hate our military, and hate our President and Congressmen, and quite frankly, shows how much they hate our country.I mean,it’s okay to disapprove how President Bush is handling the war in Iraq, but to call our troops stupid,as Kerry called them today,is disgusting and Kerry should be ashamed of himself, though leftists like him have no shame, and this has insensed me to vote next Tuesday, just to show my disgust and contempt for all the leftists in this country, including ‘D’ student Kerry (After today,I call him ‘F’ student Kerry, but otherwise I agree wholeheartedly with our ‘Great One’,in calling Kerry a ‘D’ student, but I think that’s being too generous to that moron John Kerry).
John Kerry advises students,“If you make the effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.â€ÂÂ
What an elitist, self-righteous, despicable loser! He, himself, is proof positive that a ‘D’ student (like he was at Yale) can be a United States senator (from Massachusetts, at least).
He has no genuine respect for the tens of thousands of patriotic Americans that love their country, volunteer for military service and risk their lives in order to defend it. The thought of turning control of the war on terror over to people like this is disgusting.
Vote Democratic on Tuesday and you’re voting for disaster.
Why do libs hate the Military? Because they know the military tends to be conservative, patriotic, self-sacrificing, humble, and highly intelligent. All the things that the left-wing is not and can never be.
In frustration and disbelief of todays despicable comments from John Kerry, I came home from work and produced this animated gif.
I just retired after 22 Years in the USAF, I can’t speak for the other Branches of service, so I won’t. I had some college before I entered the military and the USAF allowed me the opportunity to finish two Associates Degrees at little cost to myself. I’m working on a Bachelors Degree now. One of the great selling points to joining the military is they will help pay for college so you don’t end up with huge college bills (like I had) and you can take classes for little to no cost while you are in the service. Now who would use that as a selling point to attract people that are not willing to work or study hard? How many of the “smart†folks that don’t join default on their loans? Additionally, while I was in the demands for learning NEVER ended. Technical schools, leadership, professional development, ethics, etc. It was a never-ending learning environment for the entire 22 years , not a place for lazy, uneducated dolts. By the time enlisted people had 4-6 years in they have nearly enough credits for an Associates Degree. I’m sure someone has statistics on how many people in the military have received their degrees while in, not counting all the officers that enlist with some sort of a degree and someone should post them. They can spin his comments anyway they want, we all heard what he said, and he meant it that way. The military opens doors of opportunity; unfortunately sometimes you have to pay for those opportunities by enlisting during a war and having to face uncertain possibilities. John Kerry should have shown some leadership qualities and admitted he was stereotyping why people join the military, that was what he was doing, and that stereotype died long ago.
Is this what we want our Congress to be preaching over and over again for two years? I am damned angry. If you do not vote, if you stay home, if you think that Conservatives are not Conservative enough and refuse to cast your ballot; I personally think you are selfish.
This agenda will be proclaimed, pushed and endorsed the moment (God forbid) Pelosi gets that gavel. They will hamstring our CIC at every turn and by doing so endanger our troops, which is is unaccepatable.
Wake up my fellow Great Americans. Wake up the world! Vote, I beg of you. If not for yourself, then please for the good and brave men and woman who are fighting for our country.
Shame on Kerry, Shame on the party of JFK/FDR..and shame on us if we allow it to happen.
Hours later, my Seethe-o-Meter still registers 14 on a scale of 0-10.
I feel bad for the troops overseas who have already mailed absentee ballots who may now feel disenfranchised by the libs they voted for.
That includes my own son on his second Iraq tour…but at least he voted the Republican ticket.
Botched joke about Bush is what Lurch is saying. Lets revisit the quote…
“You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”
I am not a college grad but I can read and I dont see any mention of Bush in that quote. I do find it quite amusing that Kerry has cancelled his appearances for today.
I would like to give a big THANK YOU to the distinguished Senator from Massachusetts, John F. Kerry.
Thank you for reminding all of us about the one most important issue in this and future elections, the issue of who supports the military.
You have been a liberal all of your life, and have supported liberal causes to the detriment of this great country.
You have stood with other liberals who hate this country, liberals who spit on our military troops who were returning home from war, you called our troops “rapists, baby killers, and terrorists.” You have continually undermined the military either by your votes in Congress or by using your willing accomplices in the mainstream media to give aid and comfort to the enemy.
You are a good liberal, you are a disgrace.
But I rise to say THANK YOU for reminding all of us who have been bombarded with political commercials, distracting some of us from the important issue.
LIBERALS DO NOT SUPPORT OUR MILITARY, THEY NEVER HAVE, PROBABLY NEVER WILL.
LIBERALS ARE CURRENTLY IN LEADERSHIP POSITIONS IN THE ONCE GREAT DEMOCRAT PARTY.
THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED TO PROTECT THIS COUNTRY.
SUPPORT OUR BEST AND BRIGHTEST… VOTE CONSERVATIVE!
Ya know Pete, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Dems have him bound and gagged and are holding him at an undisclosed location. Maybe tomorrow they will announce he is in rehab for a week.
Prometheus, exactly the point I made in my call to Mark yesterday. I too served 22 years in the Army, and like you in the USAF, it was a constant learning experience. Other than working towards my Masters, I don’t think a full month went by when I or my troops didn’t attend some sort of organized class or training. Even during the Gulf War, outside of combat operations, training was still ongoing.
Additionally, as a commander, I constantly had education requests coming across my desk for the troops. I don’t think these fat cats in Congress go through nearly the education our Military goes through. And most of these members of Congress would never put their lives on the line, least of all, their reputations on the line for this country.
BTW, Prometheus, thank YOU for your service. You are a Great American.
Now here is my take: The honor of the military is presumptive and rightly so, however it is not indelible. It cannot stand like a rampart against the onslaught of ones own personal greed and dishonesty. Your fitness to speak in regards to defense is not immutable; you ratify it or disprove it by your actions.
A military uniform does not bestow honor or decency a person, you have it or you do not. Clearly Mr. Kerry, you were correctly given the privilege of that presumptive honor when you donned your uniform, however through the reality of your actions you yourself have discarded that privilege like he medals which you suspiciously received and then just as suspiciously cast away. While our enemies have failed to defile our uniform from without, you Mr. Kerry you have certainly corrupted yours from within.
Now Mr. Kerry, shut up and sit down.
Maybe Kerry thought that Americans in the US military and all the veterans would feel duly appreciated and ‘supported’ to the point where they will make a guaranteed voting block in 2008. Kerry imagines himself Commander in Chief of people he loaths as Bill Clinton does. But hey, it worked for Bill.
The new lib talking points are calling this comment by Kerry a “blooper.”
Now insulting the troops, denegrating our warriors, is a BLOOPER?!?
Wow, what arrogance.
A “Blooper” ? Is that the excuse they give for this insult? Indeed, if that was supposed to be a joke, then how come Kerry did not mention Bush’s name to begin with? Indeed, this was just another attempt by the lib/dems to demoralize our troops, to try to convince Americans that those serving had no where else to go and nothing else to do because they are not smart enough to be somewhere else.
Well, gee whiz, Senator Kerry, seems to me that since statistics have revealed over 90% of our military is indeed highly educated, looks to me that you are quite wrong. Your hatred for our Armed Forces is once again revealed, and your arrogance stands supreme.
The movie and TV series M.A.S.H. has Trapper John McIntyre (a good guy) and the Democratic National Party has…
MAKAKA JOHN KERRY (not a good guy).
It is time for Makaka John to resign from the Senate.
Thank me very much.
I gotta say that Kerry makes me more angry than any democrat since Bill Clinton.
I guess calling someone out for what they themselves said is a dirty political trick.
Let me rephrase that. Calling a liberal out for what they say, asking them to defend their hatred, is a dirty political trick.
I don’t know how implying that someone serving in Iraq is not intelligent or didn’t try hard in school does not call for an apology to that individual or group of individuals.
I can’t talk for very long about this clown without going on a 30-minute rant.
I have nothing to add, my brethren, but I am THRILLED to see the authentic passion with which you have responded to Kerry this time! I have never been in the military, but my father is a retired Colonel (The Corps at Texas A&M, WWII, decades in the Reserves, Legion Of Merit) and I have met and known many men and women in the Armed Forces. And a smarter bunch I have never encountered. Kerry should kill himself the way that his father’s father did, by blowing his brains out. THAT would be an apology that I would be gracious enough to accept!
