An Unintended Lesson

On Thursday evening Mark Levin brought to his heralded airwaves our mutual friend, Melanie Morgan, from the big KSFO in San Francisco. Her new book, “American Mourning A Story of Two Families” is a tremendously inspirational must read. The narrative of Justin Johnson and Casey Sheehan, two friends from Fort Hood, who were both tragically taken from their families, but left behind inspiring stories that rise to a level few can associate with.

Two families took completely different paths. The Johnson family’s father Joe returned to Iraq to avenge the death of his youngest son. Everyone knows about Cindy Sheehan and the damage she did, allowing herself to associate with the John Kerry campaign, and later MoveOn.org and George Soros. (The Lex Luthor of the far left liberal movement)

The other thing that was moving and inspirational was Melanie Morgan’s leadership in the www.MoveAmericaForward.com caravan that left San Francisco and zig-zagged halfway across the country to face off against Cindy Sheehan and her radical promoters, with their “You Don’t Speak For Me Cindy Tour.” As Melanie told Mark and his audience, 4000 joined her convoy and traveled to Crawford Texas.

This group provided hope and encouragement and devotion to all who wear the uniform of our military and defend freedom. They endured the long drive, and the days and days of Texas summer heat and humidity to send a united message….We Support Our Troops and the Mission.

There is a lesson here to take to heart in Melanie Morgan and Catherine Moy’s book. If the MoveAmericaForward caravan can endure days of discomfort to defend our servicemen and women, and against those that wish to cut-and-run, then we in the talk radio audience must step up to the plate by convincing as many as we can to give up a few minutes of our time to caravan to their polling place and vote Republican. Stand for the party that will defend America.
