It appears President Bush has finally started fighting the disgraceful Democrats who constantly attack him and undermine our war effort. I only hope he keeps it up! Here’s what he was quoted as saying at a fundraiser yesterday.
“Five years after 9/11, the worst attack on the American homeland in our history, Democrats offer nothing but criticism and obstruction and endless second-guessing,” Bush said at a Republican fundraiser.
“The party of FDR and the party of Harry Truman has become the party of cut and run”

Hurray! He has been silent far too long. The dems are attack dogs have been doing so since day one of this presidency.
When he tried to hold out his hand to the democrats and Kennedy early on, I actually wrote and e-mailed that his attempt at bi-partisanship would back fire, he would be stabbed in the back while shaking hands with Kennedy.
He tells it like it is and the lefties whine about being attacked. These anti-American, left-wing supporters of terrorism have been attacking our President, lying about him, equating him to Hitler and much more vile, crap. And theny they cry like the little babies they are when someone, especially the President, come out telling it like it is; they are cowards and traitors.

I have been praying that President Bush would finally get on his hind legs and tell the DemonRats (is that a term that you coined, LIP?) the way he really feels about them. And now it is coming to pass. Rush Limbaugh said recently that he was getting tired of carrying all the water for the administration- he said that if he had wanted to do that, he would have gone into politics. And I think that President Bush is finally going to open fire on the Libs- I look forward to seeing his own famous smirk return to his face, as well! Go Dubya!

I heard Rush make that comment, DubInDallas, and he’s so right. My husband makes that same complaint all the time.
Sure, it’s great that we have broken the monopoly that MSM used to have on the way news is reported, but it’s not enough. President Bush has to keep personally taking the message to the American people and explaining exactly why it is we have to keep doing what we are doing.
Not everybody is a talk radio/FNC/blog junkie like we are, so the President has got to put in some face time both on tv and in person to remind people what we are up against.
You said it, sister! Rush Limbaugh has had some significant face time with President Bush, and Tony Snow is there to run some interference for him with the MSM, and I think that President Bush is finally getting the hang of what propaganda that he SHOULD be “catapulting” at the electorate. I am allowing myself a legitimate ray of hope that he will become ever more Reaganesque in that he will start leading a conservative “movement” instead of trying to “reach out” to the rabid dogs on the left who bite him at every opportunity.
